    On April 5, 2022, **************** accepted RQ Remodeling's bid to remodel bedroom and bath in the amount of $26,087.00. RQ required payment in the amount of $ *********, which **************** paid. The parties agreed wood flooring from the bedroom would be salvaged. RQ Remodeling was aware of existing water damage.On May 2 and May 3, 2022, RQ Remodeling demolished the French's bathroom. They tore up the flooring in the bedroom. They did not salvage the flooring as agreed. Then ** refused to do any more work until **************** paid an additional $10,238.52. RQ Remodeling has not perfomed any work. The customer is left with a destroyed bed and bath.RQ Remodeling refused to do more work or to refund the French's $. The Frenches offered to pay $5000 for the demolition. RQ refused. For more than $18,000 RQ Remodeling did nothing but destroy the customer's bed and bath.

    I am rejecting this response because: After working for eight hours on demolition, with no materials purchased,  we lost confidence in their work. Attached is their refund bid that we haven't received. As you can also see in this statement, the original Labor estimate for the entire job was $6,200.00. Their subsequent withholding of $8,400.00 from our down payment for that one day of work was a glaring example of their unacceptable business model.
