I took my car into an auto shop to have work done and the mechanic had got with trifecta Performance, tuned the car a couple of times then trifecta said that I needed to upgrade from the $500.00 package to the $800.00 package so I did. After getting my car back the mechanic and I have tried contacting them for months because the car needs more tuning to run properly and have had nothing but auto replys stating "we will get back with you"

We apologize that you have had anything less than a great experience with TRIFECTA.  We are in the process of reviewing your account and purchase history, and will respond in more detail once we have completed the review.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is fine with me.

Even so TRIFECTA tried making it like it was my fault for not reaching out to them and only contacting after an official complaint.

    Sincerely,

I purchase a service Trifecta Performance offers through a third part name Lethal Performance. The service was to be an unlock of my factory *** and a calibration. I have attached the invoice. This service requires me to send in the computer of my truck to Trifecta Performance. This service was supposed to take 1-3 days as per emails directly with Trifecta Performance. After 11 days of renting a car and numerous emails begging Trifecta for a response, I received my *** back. After installing the *** my vehicle never ran correctly. After taking it back to the dealership and 2 other service shops I was informed that the "Unlocking" of the *** was not completed. I contacted Trifecta Performance they ignored me. Aftering sending them an email threatening to bring in the court they responded saying they "Unlock" the *** so only they can program it and the tune they provided was a tune ******* provided them to install. They would not adjust or correct the issues with the tune they installed. I informed them that what I purchased was not the ******* factory tune and that I had actually turned down that tune and specifically purchased there custom tune as my invoice stated. Which I provided them. They still refused to provide this service. I have since been forced to send my *** to HP Tuners to have it unlocked again to get the trucked tuned. The whole ordeal I have received nothing but lengthily delayed responses with minimal help with the issue. I have informed them that my vehicle is undriveable and I have kids. I have been given a lackadaisical response for the whole situation. The service that Trifecta Performance has allowed vendor's to sell is not something they are willing to honor. The time frames listed and quoted are falsely advertised. I believe I should be at minimum refunded for the $3700 I paid for the Trifecta Performance tune since they are not willing to honor it.

***************************, per his own submitted documentation, purchased a supercharger kit manufactured by ******* Superchargers through a ******* reseller named Lethal Performance.

We have been offering our *** (Engine Control Unit) modification and programming service to ******* since late 2022.  When the customer chooses to purchase this service, they purchase it through ******* Superchargers, and once authorized, the send the *** to us to have the service performed.

While ****** has used our services as purchased via ******* Superchargers, ****** is not a TRIFECTA customer, and has never paid us for any services.  If he is dissatisfied with the service that he purchased through ******* Superchargers, he needs to raise the issue with them, not us.

I am rejecting this response because: As someone who runs an automation business and has several vendors that sell my products and services as well I find this is be unacceptable. You are selling your service through your vendors being advertised with specifically your company name. Your company brand and reputation is being used as a selling point by these vendors. Like any other item sold in America the warranty is through the manufacture. You deal with the customer directly 100% of the time after the sale. Hiding behind a different store front to try and shield you from taking responsibility is unethical business methods. If my company sells a product we stand behind it regardless who it's purchased through.Selling a service through a third party vendor and taking full communication and interactions with the customer after the sale is no different than making the sale. You ARE still compensated for the customer purchasing your product only by your vendor. Trifecta Performance is fully responsible for all services sold by YOUR venders. Trifecta should at all times know which vendors they have selling their products and how they are advertised. The product in question is a service not a physical item. Meaning the sale is not complete until the transaction is done. The transaction is done once the service is complete not at the point of sale. Trifecta Performance employees complete this sale making Trifecta Performance 100% involved in this transaction just as much as the vendor taking the money.

Example: Me paying to have someones items stolen does not make it ok, in fact it makes me just a guilty as the person committing the act for me. Our justice system finds me as an involved party and holds me just as accountable as the person committing the crime.

Frankly any company that would even challenge taking responsibility for services they know they sold and have been compensated for by the customer should be reported to the ********************. Running an upstanding and ethical business should be something every company strives to do. Why would a company want their name to be tarnished by not honoring services they have enlisted other vendors to market for them?

    Sincerely,

    ***************************

To clarify, TRIFECTA is a supplier to ******* Superchargers which means we have provided a service they specified, to which they integrate with their own product, and sell as a complete solution to their customers.

In contrast to what ****************** has said, ******* is not a vendor of, or a reseller of TRIFECTA services, nor is Lethal Performance or any other entity that offered our services as a ******* bundled product.  We agree the language used by ******* (and/or their reseller) may not have been clear, but our relationship to ******* is as a supplier.

There were subsequent discussions about potentially having ****************** become a TRIFECTA customer, but that never materialized.  E.g. no additional service was purchased directly from TRIFECTA.

In this regard, we have provided a service to *******, to their specifications, and we have fulfilled that obligation to them.  If ****************** is dissatistifed with the service they purchased from ******* (and/or their reseller - e.g. the entity who received payment in exchange of said services), he needs to take it up with the them, first.

Any potential settlement discussions are between ****************** and ******* (and/or the reseller) first, and foremost.  Any part TRIFECTA may have in that is between TRIFECTA and ******* (and/or the reseller).
