I found a car on ******** marketplace 6/30, and reached out, guy (***). I requested to drive the car and they told me they could meet me the next day. 7/1 I was sent the bill of sale, and negotiated a price before I even saw the car. So my credit union would be ready to process the loan, as soon as I test drove it.Well I test drove the car, around 4:30pm. And came back around 5:00pm. I said I was ready to move forward, but addressed that the bill of sale showed the mileage ***** less than it was actually showing. (He mentioned he just drove it on a trip) He informed me he would update the bill of sale and send it over to me in 30 minutes. I asked him if there was anything else he needed from me? And he asked to take a picture of my credit union representatives contact information. Well I never heard back nor received the new bill of sale and then next morning I reached out telling him my credit union is ready to process the loan whenever I get the new bill of sales.He at that time informed me the car was sold the previous day after I left.What a crappy thing to do to someone. We shook hands, were in contact with my credit union, knew I was approved, never asked me to put down a deposit to hold it. Nor mentioned anyone else was coming to look at it. And he sold the car out from under me after deals were made.1) guy got weird when I asked him to update the mileage on the report, (even tho it was ***** off)2) place of business is a warehouse with a piece of paper on the door, ****** doesnt even show his business as that location. Nor do the pictures of the front of the building match on ****** either.3) he also didnt like when I told him his $500 registration fee (estimate) was way off as i contact the *** and they told my it was $303 to transfer a title. When I asked him where the extra money was going to go since its included in my financing. He basically didnt respond and changed the subject.
