      This healthcare facility charged me an $80 fee for rescheduling an appointment, even though it was clear that not only do they not have a stated rescheduling fee - they only have a cancellation policy- not a rescheduling policy, but the person on the line when I rescheduled knowingly rescheduled me to another open appt. even though I told her that I could go to the appt. however I would prefer a different date/time when she called to remind me of the appt. I originally rescheduled one appointment and for the $80 fee to be waved because it was the first time and then when they called me to remind me of the appt. I told them that I could go however I would prefer another date/time, the person on the line told me that we couldn't reschedule to another month or it would be an $80 fee, so I said okay then I'll be at the appt. We hung up the phone and then she called me back to tell me that there was another appt. that just opened up a week or so away so I asked her to change it to that appt. At that time she should have told me that it was also going to be an $80 fee even though they don't have a rescheduling fee policy. She didn't tell me that or I would have shown up to the original appt. When I told all this to the operations manager she said that she would listen to the phone call and get back to me, she didn't call me back but instead sent me a 'Final' notice that we owed her $80. I called and paid the money just to ensure it didn't show up on my credit report however I still do not believe that I owe this money and they are just taking advantage of people who need more flexibility for appts. and charging them crazy expensive fees for not being able to stick to an appt. that they require you to set 6 months in advance. I don't know how they expect you to know what you're schedule is going to look like 6 months in advance, and you can only do your best to be at the appt. flexibility should be provided instead of an $80 fee.

      Buyer beware is the advice I have for those who have health coverage. You need to read the coverage yourself because I was stunned to find out the hard and expensive way that all those who offer healthcare coverage are tremendously different. I had $1000.00 dental coverage with Humana. The odd bizarre and weird thing about Humana is one may have funds to cover needed care but Humana puts restricts and limitations on coverage no matter how much one has in their account. I have since found much better coverage with someone else. Why would anyone want partial care that Humana has when there are those willing to give better coverage?This is where I got screwed. Dr. ********************** ****, an inline dentist with Humana, of Avenue Dental Care on N. 20 Evergreen, in the **************, **. called Humana to inquire about coverage, the Dr. stated all fillings were covered. After all was done, I get a surprise **** of over one thousand dollars because Humana covers only TWO fillings at a time? ************, the inline dentist has a written letter stating that they didnt know Humana had limited coverage. (I since got a statement stating that only two fillings are covered- the DR. lied) I have tried endlessly to get the transcript of the Dr. and Humana of what exactly was said but Humana is freighted to death to release any information. Humana is in it for the money not the health care.So as I started in the beginning, buyer beware.
