In August of 2022 I purchased a 2014 ****** Impreza for ******, that comes with monthly payments of 400 plus a month, I was told the car has no issues, and that it was basically brand new, the salesman basically pushed me to buy the car, I know ultimately Im the one to make the decision but he was very deceptive, saying hes giving me a great deal. Then when it came to signing paperwork, he had me sign papers without looking over them first, him saying that you dont have to look over those, I just need a signature because he knew *** never bought a car before and were unfamiliar with the process. The car I purchased was ***** blue booked at ****** brand new fresh out of the manufacture. I overpaid, and I got a that didnt start having problems till I left the parking lot, no heat, no A/C, I had to have the brakes changed the same day because there was no brake pads left, it started grinding as we left the parking lot, I made multiple calls to them and they hung up on me multiple times, completely avoiding me. It wasnt until months after that, that I tried again. They hung up on me again after explaining my situation, then just recently my wife was involved in a front end collision that we were at fault for because nobodys not a fault when it comes to rear end, but its the reason for it that really gets me, the brakes failed to work so I couldnt stop, now the cars totaled and the settlement went to industrial credit union, so Im out of a car and Im stuck still paying on it almost *****. So in total theyve received ****** dollars still more than the cars worth. The salesman that sold me the car got fired from the business for reasons *** so since there gone the dealership said theres nothing I can do, take us to court if you want, I gotta work for a living then hung up on me. This is after I asked to speak to a manager. I wouldve had this dealt with sooner if they were willing to work with me.

My names ******* *****, my number is ************, I made a review on valley auto liquidators. There is a case open and I just wanted to mention that they called me and we came to a resolution so nothing further needs to be done on the matter. If I could receive a call back letting me know this has been taken care of it would be greatly appreciated.

Check engine light came on first week after buying, my trusted mechanic says no way they didn't know about the issue, they had the vehicle over two weeks to repair (and $1300 as my "half"). Picked up car 6/12/23 and when driving it on 6/14 engine started smoking significantly, had to pull over and get out with a baby in a storm. I do not think it is fair to charge me for these so called "repairs" and I believe it is the dealerships responsibility to buy this car back for the full price I paid. This has been absolutely miserable dealing with, and feels like no accountability from the owner or staff here. Extremely disappointed. They told me they'd fix it and that clearly did not happen. Was the car ever even checked in the first place before they sold it? When I was interested in the vehicle they claimed it was mechanic safety tested but I doubt these claims. I have a baby and can't be dealing with this in a car I just bought! So tired of being pushed around by them. I believe they need to be held accountable because they're not doing so themselves. This is a very dangerous situation now due to their negligence. Vehicle was bought for **** and I believe they need to buy it back in full due to it being a lemon and to them damaging the car with poor repairs.

We received the vehicle as a local trade in and had the vehicle inspected by our service department as we do with all our vehicles before getting them ready to sell.  The vehicle was inspected and at the time of inspection no check engine lights were on as well no signs that the vehicle was struggling mechanically in anyway.  The vehicle was sold to customer and yes shortly after purchase the vehicle had had a head gasket failure and was brought into our shop for inspection.  We spoke with customer and informed her of the options we had and we all were in agreement that fixing the vehicle was the correct choice being that this type of vehicle is not easy to find in the current market and was purchased at a good value do to customer negotiation.  The customer agreed that participation from her made sense  after she consulted with her family members and gave us the green light to move forward with the repairs to the vehicle.  The customer also agreed that she was getting great value in return knowing that the vehicle would have had these repairs done and would not have to deal these in the near future.  Valley Auto Liquidators paid for a majority of the repairs even though the vehicle was sold AS IS.. The 2nd failure was when the customer picked the vehicle up and the radiator cap failed and caused the the coolant to over flow and the dealership corrected it quickly and of course no charge to the customer..  These vehicles are machines with lots of moving parts that do fail and we made good on our end and went above and beyond to make this customer a happy one

I am rejecting this response because:

I understand It was sold as is but the repair that was done was negligent as was the inspection. I feel as though it was hidden although understand these things happen, just based off what my mechanic had said there is no way they could have missed it but understand they did. The radiator cap should have been replaced initially in the repair and it feels like there were some corners being cut in this case. I do appreciate it was no cost to tow it and fix it again though. I think it is the business's responsibility to cover the entirety of the repairs due to all of this headache. This has caused ending up on the side of the road with a baby, and dangerous hot coolant spraying everywhere and smoking. Initially they told me that they would cover the entire cost of the repair and then decided against it once they told me they found out that I had Negotiated for a fair price. It is a high mileage vehicle and was listed way above market value. I simply negotiated down to fair market value, it is frustrating how many times they need to bring this up. I agreed to the repairs into their offer of paying half because I was between a rock and a hard place and it was the best option that I had. Although I did express that I did not think it was fair and that they should cover the entirety of the cost.I was willing to do this and even signed in agreement but after all of this headache , I think the least they could do is cover the entirety of the repair.

    Sincerely,

After investigation of all parties involved and listening to recorded phone calls between the consumer and staff at Valley Auto Liquidators at no time were there any statements made regarding the dealership would pay for fixes to the vehicle in full.  The reality of this situation is the machine broke and was sold as is with no implied warranty due to customer negotiated reduction in price and customers full understanding of that with all signed documents by the customer.  Since the mechanical breakdown Valley Auto Liquidators has went above and beyond and made things good with following through with the  understanding of the dealership and consumer.  The customers vehicle was just back in the service department for work with no charge to the consumer again. Customer has also signed a Goodwill form as well with understanding again there is no implied warranty with this used vehicle.  We value our customers and would like to move forward with this and continue with the agreed upon payment plan set in place by the dealership and consumer.

I am rejecting this response because:

I just still don't believe it's fair to charge me for the repairs when it was deceitful the vehicle was sold as is but as a dependable vehicle and had these issues from the beginning. Their refusal to even consider buying it back is proof of this to me that this vehicle is a lemon. Vehicle is running now but worried for how long. Still would highly recommend people stay away from this place after all this headache. Business could just do right by customer but have to squeeze every last ***** out of everyone. They backed me into a corner. Disappointed in this place. I still deeply regret going to them for business and feel like my vehicle is a ticking time bomb what the next issue will be. Would just recommend people stay away at this point.

    Sincerely,

after already struggling with purchasing a car from a car lot (due to always paying cash for every vehicle I have owned) I decided to give this dealership a try because I have had a few friends buy from them. ****** was a lot of help in setting up the deal but had to take a leave due to family stuff so passed us on to another sales men (again totally fine I know stuff happens) the whole process was easy and was able to leave the lot with my new car! I LOVED IT! I tried to buy the warranty but was told "it's not in your budget for the loan and you will have to purchase it paying cash" (after I just paid for the down payment) as I am about to make my 5th payment my transmission failed check engine light came on so I took it to 2 different mechanics and got the response of "that's the death code" I need a brand new transmission. I called and was told "there's no warranty there's nothing we can do" so I am now out of a $17000 car that's now just sitting on the side of the road. not sure what my options are but will NEVER refer ANYONE to this lot they knew what they did and had every intent to s**** my family of 5 out of a car.I bought the car aug 26th 2022 as of now last months payment was not made due to transmission going out.

I am rejecting this response because:

According to 2 different mechanics the transmission was done 3 times in that car. There is zero way your "mechanic" didn't catch that along with numerious other bad reviews for this company on other platforms I learned a ******* I already returned the car and will take the $15000 hit to my credit. I want nothing from them but for them to stop taking advantage of families!

    Sincerely,
