    We are being told by friends and family that we should warn others about doing business with this contractor. We hired Base Enterprises LLC (***************************) in December of 2022 after extensive research on the company. They had not been in business long so we could not find anything negative about them. To follow would be a year long nightmare. Their original bid did not include exterior doors or bathroom vanities. So we had to get those ourselves causing my husband to have to go back to work -- after being retired for five years -- to pay for them. They promised it would be completed in 6 months. It was not done after one year and is still not done. They abandoned our home build often, leaving it sitting there in the weather without a roof for months. We tried everything to get them to work. We were told lie after lie. They said they had placed orders but it was the suppliers' fault they did not arrive, etc. We discovered they had never placed orders for supplies. They are extremely incompetent. For example, they scheduled framers and had no supplies on site for them to frame with. They could not even get a building permit without me getting involved. Their work is poorly done. They did not pay their subcontractors and told them we had not paid Base (subcontractors have still not been paid). This was 100% untrue as we paid for every installment payment in advance. They kept our money for themselves instead of paying for supplies and paying the subcontractors. Also, they did not supervise the project when someone actually did show up to work. We could go on and on how this company took advantage of us and how corrupt and incompetent they are. We do not want anyone else to suffer like we have. We do NOT recommend this company.
