I took my car in for a AC repair which I thought may have been a simple leak. After an entire work day of the car being in the shop they failed to update me on the fact that they did not find a leak or that they would be running a diagnostic reading which would cost me upwards of 400 after only refilling my ac unit with AC fluid. After the lack of communication I called and they said the car was already being taken apart and they would need to hold the car overnight. They held the car for two more days after this and claimed they could not diagnose the issue. The car was finally returned after they admitted they would not be able to replace or fix the part that caused my issue. I chose to get my car back since they wanted me to order an aftermarket part or find a used part to have them replace. I decided against this since they also admitted that they were not sure if they would be able to reprogram the part after they installed it. Essentially doing more useless work to charge more money and not resolve my issue. The car was returned with parts missing from my interior that they had removed and ran very rough shutting down on me multiple times. It seems that they did not reinstall multiple parts on the interior of the cars electrical unit as well as not reconnecting several parts under the hood associated with electrical and AC unit. They also tried having me pay for the diagnostic without providing a copy. They only gave this to me after I asked twice. After being given the diagnostic they did not offer to walk me through the issues they found and I had to ask him to explain the codes that were displayed. The technician did not explain the codes well enough and did not know the name of multiple components related to the codes. In short I was scammed out of 400+ dollars because of their lack of proper communication. They preformed a diagnostic without consulting me first and returned my car in drastically worse conditions.
