I bought a vehicle from this company in december 2024. Was told it had a salvage title but the damage from accident was complete fixed by their mechanics. Immeadialy after bring the car home starting noticing the vehicle running rough. I contacted the dealership told them about the issue and asked for a refund because of how much I paid for the vehicle I did not think that it should be having issues right away. They denied me a refund. I kept insisting. They offered to fix it but only fixed one minor thing and made me pay for the part. And the vehicle came back to me worse off. Needless to say the vehicle has a laundry list of problems all of which were present when the vehicle was sold and was not disclosed in the sale transaction. The cost of repairs is more then the car is even worth.Business Response

******* ********** purchased a used vehicle from us on December 7th, 2024. The vehicle previously was in an accident and had a salvage title which was disclosed and the customer was aware of when purchasing. The listed price for the vehicle was $6,895, well below the book value of this car given the condition and mileage of the vehicle. ******* negotiated the price down to $6,300 and purchased the vehicle as-is.We received a call from ******* ********** several days later where she stated that there was a noise when she drove the vehicle, and that a mechanic shop told her an engine mount was worn. We offered her to bring the car in so we could take a look at it. The vehicle drove fine when we test drove it, but after inspecting it we found that an engine mount was in fact worn and offered to replace it, covering the labor costs if she paid for the part. ******* agreed, so we proceeded and replaced the part.
3 and a half months later we received another call from *******, claiming that the vehicle has more issues. She sent us screenshots of what the mechanic shop told her, the same screenshots that she included in the complaint. Upon inspection of the mechanics shop report, it appeared that the vehicle just needs regular maintenance to be done on it that a used vehicle commonly requires. One of the issues that she claimed it had the mechanic shop was not able to even duplicate, stating Could not duplicate issue, test drove vehicle for 2 miles with zero problems, checked for dtcs none present. We told the customer to get a second opinion and recommended a number of 3rd party mechanic shops that could help her with this recommended maintenance at a fraction of the cost. However, our attempts to help her were met with hostility and further communication was unsuccessful.
The vehicle was listed well under book value and the price of it was negotiated even further down by the customer. It is the customers responsibility to maintain the used vehicle that she purchased over 4 months ago. Please refer to attached files for book value and signed certificate of fact.

I am rejecting this response because: this dealership will not take responsibility for selling people junk cars for top dollar. I am not their only victim they have done this to a lot of people. They do not make sure that the cars the buy for dirt cheap and fix are safe for the road the just slap bandaides on them and dont even hide the s*** and call it good. This place needs to be shut down so they can stop scamming people.Sincerely,

Last weekend my granddaughter and I went car shopping, we found a car that she really liked, we took the car for a test drive and infront of the dealer and with their consent we connected it to a code reader. The device pulled NO CODES! (however they did try to push us to use their code reader).SATISFIED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS SOUND, WE AGREED ON A PRICE, SIGNED PAPERS, DID A QUICK CELEBRATION AND HEADED HOME, EXACTLY 6 MINUTES LATER THE INDICATOR LIGHT ON THE DASH WARNED LOW OIL PRESSURE TURN VEHICLE OFF. My Granddaughter immediately pulled over and called to get help from my husband. Upon an inspection of the vehicle by my experienced husband he discovered all the indicators that the vehicles head gasket was blown and the car was undrivable. WE HAD THE CAR TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AY OUR EXPENSE AND WE WERE TOLD THE DEALERS MECHANIC WOULD LOOK AT IT THE FOLLOWING DAY.THEY have had the car for 3 days and we were informed that the problem was a faulty oil pump and that it would "only" cost US $400APRX. WE FEEL THAT THEIR DIAGNOSIS OF THE ISSUE IS INACCURATE HOWEVER EVEN IF IT'S CORRECT WE DON'T FEEL ITS OUR RESPONSIBLITT TO PAY FOR THAT REPAIR. WE are sold a vehicle that they represented as being the value that we paid and that simply is misrepresented and fraudulent. We would like some idea of what recourse that's available at this point.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern,
We are sorry to hear that your granddaughter is having issues with her vehicle. A lot of various factors affect used vehicles, such as the year of the vehicle, the mileage, maintenance history, etc. Unfortunately, we cant predict if the vehicle will start having issues after the sale. The customer test drove the vehicle and had an opportunity to take the vehicle for a pre-purchase inspection. Chevrolet Cruze Models like the customer bought, do usually require more attention and maintenance compared to some other vehicle brands, especially older ones with over *******+ miles. The price was also negotiated down and was agreed at a well below book market value. The vehicle was represented and sold AS-IS with all faults, Customer understood that any repairs would be the Customer's responsibility after the Sale. After hearing that your granddaughter had a issue with the vehicle after purchasing it, we diagnosed the vehicle and had multiple options that included repairing the vehicle or even returning it and getting into a different vehicle. We offered to cover All labor expenses and just asked to pay for the Oil Pump Kit which was $350, Customer and included party was not satisfied and until this day still have not gave a response for over 10 Days what they would like to do. At this point I would highly recommend you taking the vehicle to a different shop to get a second opinion since our diagnostic is different then your experienced husband's opinion. Buyer does hold a certain responsibility to do their due diligence and research the type of vehicle they are purchasing. We don't force or try to convince anyone to buy any vehicles and customers are always welcome to get them inspected. Although we are sorry that you are not happy with this unfortunate situation. The vehicle does become the customers responsibility after the sale.

I purchased a used vehicle (Kia ***** 2007) from skyline motors for $4000 before tax on November 9/2022. Knowing the car wouldnt be perfect, but hoping it would be reliable enough (we needed it out of desperation as my husband works, and I need to make my appointments for cancer treatment). The very next day, the check engine light came on (after 25miles). I took the car to my mechanic, and after running a diagnostic test, he found that it at least needs at least a fuel tank pressure sensor and has an issue with the anti lock braking system (we dont know what the abs issues is unless I pay the mechanic to dive deeper into the root issue). My mechanic said that the dealership likely reset the check engine light so that it would come back on after a certain amount of miles. They werent honest with us about the condition of the vehicle and knew that it had engine issues. We tried returning the car after less than 24 hours, and they would not take back the vehicle, telling us that its our car and our problem now. Unfortunately, I signed a waiver saying that I was purchasing the vehicle as is not knowing that they reset the engine light. After looking at this businesses reviews, its apparent to me that theyve done this to many people. It hurts because I needed this car asap, and Im upset that a business could scam an honest person going through challenging times.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: As I had stated before, the business was not honest about the condition of the vehicle when they sold it to me. The check engine light was reset to turn on after 25 miles. We went to take the vehicle back 20 hours after purchasing it and taking it to my mechanic. The options that they provided were not helpful, as they offered to buy the vehicle back for $1,000 less than what I bought it for, less than a day after I purchased it. This business is not transparent or honest to their customers. They have done this to multiple people if you look at their reviews.

On July 25, 2022, we purchased a 2011 GMC Yukon from Skyline Motors for $8,723.55. After we got home with the vehicle, the check engine light came on. We took it to ************ who revealed to us that the engine had been worked on prior to us purchasing it and the engine was shot. We believe the car dealer reset the codes prior to our test drive and knowingly sold us a car with a defective engine. We contacted the dealer to give them the opportunity to make it right, and they said, "the car was ours now and we'd signed away our warranty rights."Business Response

To Whom It May ****************************** regret to hear that the customer is having an issue with his vehicle. While we try our best to take care of the issues we are aware of on a vehicle, sometimes used vehicles will have issues that arise later on that we would have no way of knowing about. That is unfortunately the risk that is taken when buying a used vehicle and most used car dealerships sell their vehicles "As-Is" and without warranty because we cannot predict what can come up with a used vehicle. Our customers are always welcome to do a pre-purchase inspection before purchasing the vehicle. We did try to refer the customer to a mechanic to get a second opinion but he declined. The customer did purchase the vehicle under book value and negotiated the price down quite a bit. The customer understood the vehicle was purchased As-Is and without warranty when he bought it.

I am rejecting this response because:Our assumption on purchasing this vehicle was that it was in running condition. It only ran for about a half hour before the check engine light came on and all of the problems started.
Based on our mechanic's inspection of the engine and observation of recent work done on it, we believe the dealer knowingly sold us a vehicle with a defective engine. Before we purchased the car, we asked the salesman if he knew of any problems with the vehicle. He claims to not have any knowledge of any possible problems. Our impression is that their mechanic couldn't repair the problems, so he cleared the check engine light and they sold us the car knowing there were serious problems under the hood. We will most likely have to invest an additional $5000 to $8000 into the engine to make the vehicle usable.
Based on our reading of online reviews of them, we've concluded that this behavior is not uncommon for them and that we are not their first victims.
Sincerely,

On May 14th 2022 I purchased a *** 2009 X3 ***** cash. When test driving the vehicle there seem to have been some minor issues with the vehicle. Such as the steering would go to the left or right it picked up speed at a certain point which caused the car to kind of feel like I was shifting gears. In May 16th 2022 the service engine light comes on . I spoke with a mechanic who only dealt with ***s and was scheduled an appointment on May 23rd for an inspection. I spoke with him about my concerns he went through the process half way through and explained the car was no good. If he worked on it it would be a 50/50 chance it was fixable and it's not best to continue operating the vehicle. Best bet to speak to the dealer see if they can give you another vehicle. Took the diagnosis with me spoke with a rep from the company and they sent me to there me haniv which cleared the board and told me nothing was wrong with it for the year it is and used. He then directed me to the mechanic next door if I didn't trust his judgment. I then told the other I would come back with all the papers from the previous diagnosis. When I got home smoke started coming from my hood. There was liquid falling to the ground and the car wouldn't even start up. It had a yellow warning sign indicating the radiator. I'm tired of buying these cars and they are no good. I can't even drive it and **** down the drain. I called the dealership they said we have done all we can. I still have not gotten my plates. It was a real lemon. Beware !!!!Business Response
