On February 22nd, 2024 I took my mom ****** M. ******** to Affordable Dentures located at ************************************************************** for dentures and wisdom teeth extractions. They extracted the wisdom teeth, and made impressions for the temporary dentures, she would use this for 6-12 months till all swelling disappeared, then they would take new impressions for the permanent dentures.When we received my mom's temporary dentures, the teeth were not ligned up, which we didnt notice right away, nor were they staying in place. When we got home and she tried to eat the top denture kept falling off and would not stay put, she couldnt drink without it falling, and sometimes even while she was talking it would fall. She tried the denture glue to no avail, it was as if the temporary denture was not made for her at all.We returned to the office and heard from the receptionist and other patients that their dentures had lost teeth a year after, and the dentist was charging them to fix them. Also they had issues with the fit. At that point we decided that we didnt want to continue with the permanent dentures and asked to cancel the treatment. We showed the dentist the temporary dentures and how poorly made they were and that they didnt fit, and he called in the denture tech to help us. But we no longer wanted them adjusted and wanted to discontinue treatment. We asked for a refund minus the amount for the extractions. They said they would have to charge us for the "materials", $828.80, for the temporary dentures, even though they were crooked and did not fit or stay in my mom's mouth.Initial Complaint

Several visits- dentures don't fit and they refuse to listen and are not correcting the problem.Started there Sept 18th for dentures and they are rude and will not consider my comfort and keep telling me to come back to do this and that and the dentures are not lined up-they won't fix. The person ****** that works on making the dentures fit is trying to work with 4 pts at once and then touches you and or puches you on the shoulder to get you to leave even when you tell them that the dentures are not fitted and functional. After about 5 visits I should have been able to chew with them and he insists it is me doing something wrong. I want an entire refund of all moneys as I am going to another practice to get teeth the last week of December and will need to pay again for dentures. I should also be reimbursed as the mileage was 200 plus miles a visit for 6 or 7 visits including the consult, the impressions, the day following teeth removal and the other several times.
The office staff is rude and ****** said on my most recent visit to the receptionist that I was done and not returning and that was never mentioned. I do have a witness to his behavior and dismissive attitude and the staffs attitude as well. I'm visually impaired and they do not exercise any of the ADA ******* or assist for the patient at all leaving me in a position of possible injury in the treatment rooms and moving throughout the facility.

Aug 15 2022 Began the process for Affordable Dentures. Selected the Ultimate Fit denture and had some initial impressions made and was told the had to send the denture out due to a shortage of personnel in the lab and that it would be 4-5 weeks. Aug 30, 2022 Next appointment more impressions were made to be sent out. Dec 7, 2022 appointment a wax impression was made and fitted and was told that this would be sent out and become my permanent denture. At this time I was asked to sign a document that stated that I was OK with the color, whiteness and fit. Jan 20, 2023 I came to the appointment expecting my new teeth and was not happy with the "Ultimate Fit". For over 2 hours I sat in the dentist chair while their personnel made numerous adjustments. Finally they were able to fit approximately. Still a little discomfort. Subsequently I tried to eat a meal and could not eat without severe discomfort. Upon removing my denture and examining them I was disgusted with the quality of craftsmanship. This was supposed to be the "Ultimate Fit" for over $2698. These dentures cannot and do not meet my expectations. Totally not unusable! I have taken some pictures to show the poor workmanship. Therefore I am requesting a refund or have another Affordable Dentures make a replacement at their expense.I have spoken to a customer service person ******* and explained my case.I have left numerous Phone messages that have not been acknowledged.FYI I have also filed a complaint to ******** Attorney.Initial Complaint

I originally file bbb complaint with original Affordable Dentures in Silverdale due to availability of the dentist from that location I got passed off to Tacoma to have implant surgery! I had first surgery and there was complications for all I know they messed up so I had have second surgery! All in all after second surgery healed I was told if I paid balance from silverdale location and I was told they would remake my denture with a cost for the bottoms to be refitted! I have the money to do so and have left a half dozen messages and contacted corporate to mediate and still no reaponse all I wish is to have both uppers redone like I was told they would do if I paid balance at silverdale and bottoms I understand there be cost even though all I know they messed up I have had no teeth on bottom for over two years and just wish to have upper redone as promised and lowers re fitted for implants would just like a call so this can be finished! My last appointment there I was told they would redo upper and bottoms for cost of **** I believe! Just want this completed I am **** dollars in debt and still no teeth have denture from 2006 and just plain implants on bottom! I tried to complain about the horrible service from silverdale and they take no responsibility for there awful quality! Worst experience of my life please help!Initial Complaint

Received my new dentures from this place came home and within a few days I am unable to wear the bottom dentures as the have caused sores and the top have **************. I have called for over a week to schedule an appointment and only get an answering machine which no one returns my phone calls. So basically I spent money on bottom dentures that are unwearable and top that have ************** that hurt.Initial Complaint

On May 3 I went to affordable Dentures and Implants for dentures. They took my impression and said in 2-3 weeks I would have my dentures. After two weeks I called them and they said they were waiting on something from a third party and they would update me. I have not heard from them and not do they return my multiple phone calls and it now been over a month. Also when I call them no one answers the phone and I have left multiple messages. I paid them $2838.00 when I got my impression done because they said they had to have payment in advance to make the denturesBusiness Response
