March 10th 2025 I went in to purchase a vehicle I had seen on the gt Auto website, did a soft inspection and test drove the car on a short street down and back near the dealership, asked questions regarding the history of the car "if it was in a recent accident " because of cosmetic damage I observed. I was only told we can look at Carfax nothing was shown. Asked if the engine had issues. I was told the mechanics checked the car prior it is in top shape. ****** to finance for a total price of $25013.02 with a $2000.00 down payment that day. Drove the car home to find it was unsafe at highway speeds the following morning, while taking my child to school putting his and my life at risk as well as many of the features listed in the advertising we're not included ie. Reverse camera, keyless entry, heated seats. Took car back to dealership within 13 hrs and informed them that the vehicle is not safe and mine and my child's like were at risk. and that features listed are not included and that at that point I would like a different vehicle or my money returned. I was told to wait till their mechanics assess the vehicle and I would receive a call in a 1 1/2 days to talk about options. I have not received any calls. I have called every day for the past week. The first call I made I was bombarded and harassed asked repeatedly if I had hit something and told that the dealer knows what a fresh tire **** on plastic looks like. I informed them that I did no such things and that, that was how it was sold. I have also screen captures of the listing to which you can see the prior damage and advertised features not included.Remaining calls have been answered with them telling me they are busy and that the manager will call me back in 20 min, to which they do not. I have reached out multiple times after and still the response is that they are busy and will call me later. At this point I only want my down payment returned and loan closed, as the dealership still has the vehicle.

2020 GMC 2500HD I purchased on 2/7/2023. The truck had issues just turning off randomly. I was not disclosed that the truck was modified with a DEF delete and tune. The truck was never inspected. It came from ****** and none of the fluids were checked. On 5/31/2023 the truck was shifting horribly. I brought it to a local shop as other shops would not touch it as the delete is illegal in ****************. ******* Break and Muffler in ***************** reported that the transmission only had 1/4qt of trans fluid and metal shards due to the truck being overtuned, **** the owner of GT auto told me to bring it down. They told me they were replacing the transmission under warranty. Then 1 month later told me they brought a trans mechanic to look at it. Then told me they would pay half of the $8,000 bill for the trans and I would have to pay $4,000 to which I declined to accept. After not taking my calls or texts i went to the dealership where they picked a verbal fight with me and called the police on me and told me the deal is off and I needed to pick up my truck.

      GT Auto Sales

      August 7, 2023

To Whom It May ********************* is no doubt that **************** purchased a jacked-up, big-time, noisemaking truck; one designed to turn heads every time he drives it, but with all those big-time modifications comes wear on the entirety of the truck. Owner monitoring of what the truck sounds like, how it performs, recognizing the difference in the exhaust smoke, and regularly checking the vital fluid levels in the engine and transmission would help keep the truck running smoothly. For individuals who depend on their truck day-in and day-out to deliver results, a bit of care and maintenance goes a long way and while each make and model will have its own special needs, there is no big secret that highly modified trucks need added extra attention.

When ******************** purchased his 2020 GMC ****** **** HD Denali on 2/7/2023, he arrived at GT Auto Sales seeking a unique high performance, highly modified, upgraded luxury/performance truck or Sema truck ******************************************** This type of truck requires extra maintenance, as these trucks often have aftermarket suspensions, transmissions/drivetrain, billet valve covers, exhaust, tires and wheels, and performance tuners. All modifications are designed to turn heads and draw attention. The tuner itself is designed to maximize engine performance, but it also puts added strain on the entirety of the trucks components as well as the transmission when owners drive aggressively, which **************** openly admitted that he does. The most valuable way for an owner to find that there is a part or mechanical failure in these types of highly modified trucks is by evaluating the way the truck drives, responses, or by the exhaust. GT Auto did complete a safety inspection on the 2020 GMC Denali, the truck drove, responded, and checked out accordingly to the specifications of the unit and only required a new set of tires at the time, which were installed.

The first time we heard from **************** about an issue with the truck was on June 5, 2023.******************** texted stating that there was an issue with the transmission and that he had the Denali at Scotts Classic Quality Brake and Muffler. We indicated that we would try to help if he wanted to bring the vehicle by the dealership, upon arrival we quickly recognized that we would need a specialty technician or shop to diagnose the transmission concerns and started reaching out to a few custom shops in the area. In the meantime, we reached out to the dealership in Bellevue that took the unit in on trade and were able to speak with the previous owner about the modified transmission. We informed **************** on June 13, 2023, that we were waiting for an opening with ****************** but had the information on the built transmission to share with the shop.

On July 5, 2023,after hearing from ******************, we telephoned **************** he did not answer. ****, with ******************, stated that he had spoken with NexGen Drivetrain, the builders of the transmission, and according to NexGen the transmission would need to be refreshed/rebuilt and would not be covered under warranty as the registered owner, ****************, is not the original built transmission purchaser.

On July 12,2023, we telephone **************** again and left a message that we were going to be out of the office for the next two weeks but would do our best to assist him with any answers that we had available.

On July 13,2023, in speaking with **************** we explained that the built transmission would not be covered under warranty and for him to obtain a warranty on a refreshed transmission, NexGen Drivetrain requires that the invoice be in the name of the person receiving the warranty coverage. We offered to pay for the retuning of the vehicle after the new transmission was installed, roughly a $1,400.00 charge.  To which **************** declined the offer, stating that he could not afford the cost of the repair.

On July 18, 2023, during a telephone call with ***************, The rebuilt/refreshed transmission was explained to **************** again and the offer for GT Auto to pay for the retune was extended. **************** became very belligerent in his disapproval of the dealerships offer to help with his vehicle concerns.

On July 27, 2023, the offer was extended for the payment of the retuning and once again **************** used profanity to decline the offer. *************** was asked to refrain from using such profanity and asked what he felt a reasonable offer would be. **************** asked the dealership to pay for the full repair or repurchase of the vehicle, it was explained that the subject would be reopened with GT **************** and we would reach back out to him.

On July 28, 2023, in a telephone call with **************** it was explained that the dealership did not want to repurchase the Denali, however would offer a one-time goodwill to pay 50% of the repair, as the repair was quoted by ****************** at a cost of $8,000.00 the dealership would do a one time goodwill of $4,000.00. Again **************** became extremely belligerent and declined the offer.

On August 1, 2023, **************** arrived at the dealership yelling and screaming profanities, insults, and threats. Once again, the offer was extended and declined, **************** was informed that the dealership was being more than generous in the offer to assist with the repair and asked to remove himself and his vehicle from the promises. **************** behavior continued to diminish, and the *************** were called to assist with the situation.

Based on **************** open admission to aggressively driving the truck and his unreasonable behavior GT Autos offer of the one-time goodwill of $4,000.00 remains on the table, however also based on **************** behavior we do ask that the vehicle be removed from the dealership within the next 7 days.

      Thank you,

      ***********************************

Please look at the inspection report done by *******. Clearly states the transmission failed due to over tuning. that is attached. Please use common sense with accusations such as saying I drove the truck hard after i had a major issue. That is obviously a fabricated statement by GT Auto. This has been GT Auto's history of lies that just continue with each passing day.

To whom is concerns, in the email from the customer she admits to filling her transmission fluid with diesel exhaust fluid and even attached a picture of it. Thats what caused the damaged as you CAN NOT put the wrong fluid in your transmission let alone diesel fluid. We would love to help if she didnt cause the damage but this was a customer who added the wrong fluid in her transmission and did not let a certified mechanic do it. Ill attach her email to me with the picture as she forgot to mention it as Im sure that was a mistake by the costumer as well.

I am rejecting this response because:

Th ** auto mechanics told me where to put the trasminsion liquid, under the hood, the  two times I visted the ********.

I ended up taking it to Range Rover in belliview and they said the trasnmision was leaking. They also mentioend there is no trasmition fluid under the hood as the ** auto  mechanics had told me, to add fluid.  there is a pump under the car and I was given not only the wrong information by ** auto but the transmition was broken when I bought it.

The Range Rover also told me the transmition was leaking even  before I bought it but becuase the car was not drive,  but the transmision light was on.

The range rover is asking $10,000 to chaage the trasmnition in addition to car rental of 65/day. My car has been at RR bellview for 4 weeks.

Please see the BBB cliams against the *************

      Thanks you for consideration.
