Our water was overflowing into the bathtub and toilet while using the washer. Ally plumbing gave me a quote to clear my main line of $400-$600 in December 2022. **** and his associate came out and tried to clear the main line then told me the only way they could clear the main line was to hydro jet it and saying hydro jetting would last longer and did a far better job of clearing the main line. They charged us $1400.00 for this service. In February of 2023 our water overflowed again, and this time through the ceiling in the basement. I called Ally plumbing and they came out Monday (Feb 27th). My brother came out and wanted to ask some questions regarding the problem with clog. I believe they roto rooted the main line, but kept claiming hydro jetting was the only thing that would clear the main line(why would it work this time, it obviously didnt work last time?). **** also had a belligerent attitude toward my brother for asking questions and at one point said to my brother Are you a plumber?!?! My brother asked **** if he was a licensed plumber and **** refused to answer. Can Ally plumbing explain why a paying customer is not allowed to ask questions especially since **** is recommending to a $1400 dollar job that didnt work the first time??At one point **** started speaking a different language with his colleague that no one else could understand. The ONLY reason I am not putting this under the complaint section is because the only resolution I would want is for them to refund the $1400 they charged my elderly father, and I know from reading other complaints they will not do this. All I want to say here is how rude, unprofessional and completely incompetent Ally plumbing and their employees are.

I had a leak that appeared on the drywall on the garage ceiling back in Nov/Dec 2022 when we had snowfall. It started out as a small spot that got larger and eventually grew mold.I called their restoration team to come out and assess the issue. The statement of work included finding the issue, repairing and drying out any of the wood affected. The estimated costs ran just under $1700. So far, so good. They came in and removed the part of the ceiling in the affected area and noticed it was coming from the roof. They advised that I call a roofer to assess and fix the issue. Afterwards, their team would come back to assess and make any necessary or additional fixes (i.e., drying out the wood, if needed). The roofer came in the fixed the issue. Afterwards, the restoration team came back and after assessment said no further drying or fixes are required. When I got the bill, they wanted me to pay around $1000 for essentially removing part of the ceiling drywall. In addition to that, they were charging me 4hrs of labor which didnt take place. Luckily, I had a Ring cam that documented their arrival and departure. The total time they were on-site? 1hr 27mins! I sent the videos over to Ally plumbing/restoration (I was in contact with *****************, who I later found out is the ** for Ally plumbing/restoration and no apologies of any kind) and over the course of few days, they sent several invoices each time dropping the price. I had to fight for every single dollar and the final amount came out to $587, nearly half of what they were trying to charge me! Had I not had my Ring cam set up, I would be paying over $1000 for work that did not take place. They are essentially charging me $587 for the removal of part of the drywall (4x4ft)Honesty and customer-focus isnt what **********************/restoration represent. My ****** learned: dont always assume the vendor will do you right. Have some kind of backup/evidence when your house is being worked on.
