Wish I could leave better review re my folding travel bike. Restored to working condition @vancouvercyclery after being stolen for two years before @BikeIndex recovered it at homeless camp. (These guys are A+++. Two of my buddies ********* back thanks to these bike ninjas.)When my bike got stolen in Summer 2020, PDX was in major lockdown. So my options for getting a replacement was very limited. Needed bike as means of transportation, as well as means for me to stay sane via cycling Replacement bike I found on ********** was akin to ****************** it'll do for now but doesn't fit long-term into my urban cyclist/traveler lifestyle. So having my bike returned was dream come true. Wish repair process had similar happy ending This is a speciality bike, so I appreciate their ability to fix it though bike grip and cables still lose - repair job B-, customer service F Bike dropped off 3/18/22 with assurances be ready within week. Estimated charge $221.31. They'd call me if needed to order a replacement stem. Crickets despite multiple emails I sent Service technician left note on work order "Customer sent email not sure what she was trying to say as it didn't make much sense." Never contacted me to clear up any confusion Informed via email on 4/16 part ordered. Bike ready shortly. Informed them I was going to ******* 5/1 but could get bike upon my return. Crickets until got text 5/3 that bike ready. No mention of added charges Requested final invoice - $446.50. Owner dismissive (being kind) when I questioned work order. Had stem replaced before when someone tried to steal bike. Parts/labor then was $120.00. So I knew I was overcharged at least $100 Future repairs @trekbikes where I have my Trek road bike serviced. A+ all around
