I wanted to try a new credit card processing company that promised me I would save more money with them than the company I was currently using; and more importantly, I could get out of the contract if I was dissatisfied with the result. I was not satisfied. I sent letters and emails all along to *** ****** National Sales Manager, expressing my *********** December 2024, I I sent a letter asking for an immediate cancellation of my contract. I also (in two separate mailings) sent all equipment back to the company. In that December mailing, I also enclosed papers from Appstar (My previous Credit card Company) showing they were markedly cheaper. Per Tre's email dated August ******* 3:39;54 He states" the written guarantee plainly says if we're not showing you savings--we will RELEASE you of the agreement entirely and buy back the lease.. With our Guarantee it doesn't matter if that's 3 days, 3 months, or 3 years from now--You ALWAYS have that leverage ."Business Response

Good Morning ******,
Thank you for contacting Evergreen Payment Solutions! After reviewing the details on your account, we have confirmed that you processed your electronic payments with EPS for a total of 5 months.
Our team has discussed with you on a few occasions your savings against your previous provider, it appears that you have not completed your PCI compliance questionnaire, making your fees higher than necissary. When PCI compliance has been completed, your bill will be lower, you can achieve the savings outlined on your original quote.
Our team also submitted several reimbursements towards the non compliance fees in an act of good faith.Should you choose to cancel, you are responsible for the agreements in place. Your account has been escalated through management for a team member to reach out to you directly, please give us a call if you have any questions!Sincerely,Evergreen Payment SolutionsInitial Complaint

December 14, 2024 To Whom it May Concern,I am writing this letter to report a business that is not only unethicial but a complete rip off. Recently I have been in comtact with Evergreen ************** and Caseade Credit. These people have completely ripped me off. Evergreen has taken $191 and Caseade has taken $150 claiming that I am not in compliance. I spent 6 hours proving that I am. They have stolen my Christmas money and they will not answer the phone when I call trying to get customer service. I am a ****************************************** to the point that I am surprised that I have not had a heart attack. I want all association with these people ended. I know that I will not likely get my money back, but I want any further contact with them expunged. The told me that I would have to keep their service for 2 years but I refuse to be ripped off by these people. They are in the business of finding people to con and I will not continue to be conned by them. I would appreciate you help with this matter. My holidays have been completely ruined due to this farce that I was roped into.******** *********Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Evergreen Payment Solutions lied to the BBB. I was never walked through any process. Every time that I called, I was told that they would have to contact a supervisor and would be called back. I was never called back by anyone. I was on the phone with the ************* for six hours off and on and had to give them access to my computer. They made sure that I had no records of any of the correspondence that I had with them. After they logged into my computer, I had to log back in to all my accounts. I have no idea what all they did on my computer to make me have to sign back in to all my accounts. I did receive a refund of $239.85 from Evergreen, but I do not want to have any more to do with that company. Cascade Equipment Leasing Anntaxhand (ph. **************) is a company that Evergreen put me into a contract with for the equipment. They charged me $150 for a year in tax and a $50 a month payment. I have boxed up their equipment and want out of the contract with them as well. I do not authorize either of these companies to take money from me. I want to send their equipment back to them but do not have and address to send it to. I spoke with ************ at ***************) that assisted me with the "compliance" issues that Evergreen did not help me with. I just want out of the contracts that this lying and convoluted company has convinced me to sign. My health cannot handle the stress that this is putting on me. I appreciate any and all help with this matter.Sincerely,

It was that same call that we helped walk you through the *** questionnaire to ensure you were taken care of that same day. Our team then immediately processed the refund to your account in an act of good faith. The debits you have mentioned tied to Cascade Leasing are not a part of Evergreen Payment Solutions reporting, you must contact ******* Leasing directly to dispute any charges with them.
Evergreen Payment Solutions has escalated your account again to have a team member reach out to you to discuss this further with you, we hope to gain your business back and continue to save you money!

Evergreen (1) fraudulent misrepresentations, misleading tactics, unethical practices, false statements to persuade us to enter contract with them/affiliates; (2) unwilling to keep promises; (3) unmet guarantee to save money; (4) forged signatures. Ended business relationship in July 2024. **** stated several times FREE equipment and $0 expense since pass surcharge to customers. Guaranteed effective rate of 2.44% not met. After multiple requests for copy of documents plus monies deducted from bank account, we discovered 48-month Equipment Lease with total payment over $20,000. One unit needed, received five. Told since FREE equipment, keep them in case unit breaks. Charged for five units. Requested return address for equipment, told "stuck with them", no return address provided until lease is paid. Unreasonable AND gross proof of unfair lease to force customer to pay over $20,000 for $500 worth of equipment. Evergreen/affiliates are party to document fraud. ******* ******** (Sales **** said here let me help you quickly clicking document fields. Response to unethical action was we dont know if he did that or not. Unknown if ** actually signed documents as there is no proof electronically signed by **, in person, physically clicking fields - No proof sent to valid email address or opened by **. Audit Report has unrealistic times and incorrect/invalid data. We have undeniable proof signature forged on agreements AND data on forms is inconsistent. Unethical business practices are concern for consumers and need be reported. Thank you for reaching out to Evergreen Payment Solutions!
When signing for services, you agreed to process within the agreement term in exchange for savings against your previous provider. We have attached the quote showing you paid 3.14% based off of $37,798.92 in volume.
For the month of June and July in 2024, you did not process for a full statement period of at least 30 days, Evergreen is unable to apply the savings unless you process for the applicable statement period or at the volume listed on your quote. The equipment program listed on the attached quote is built in with your savings and not an out of pocket expense to your business. The pricing structure set forth is at 2.5% which is then your responsibility to apply to your month end bill. Without processing enough volume to cover your expenses, the program will not work as intended.
To address your concern on our audit trail documents that are attached to your signed agreement, these are generated at the time of signing from a reputable company that handles e-signatures across the nation. The audit trail is valid and a legal binding document providing proof of the time, place, and receiver of the documents needing signature. Evergreen Payment Solutions has listed that signer **************************** entered name at signing as ******* ****** on May 3rd, 2024 with IP address **************.
Evergreen Payment Solutions regrets to hear that you are looking to terminate services, if you wish to terminate there are penalties for canceling services. WE have on record you are currently in correspondence with our legal team on these matters.
Please give us a call directly if you wish to speak with our service team at ************, we appreciate any input you may have!Sincerely,

We reject this response with additional information provided in the attachment(s): Evergreen has failed to address or acknowledge all issues within the BBB complaint, such as fraudulent mis***resentation, misleading tactics, unethical business practices, false statements to persuade us to enter into business relationship with Evergreen and affiliates, AND Forged signatures (Sales *** clicking through documents, plus printed proof as shown on signed documents sent to us separately from Evergreen and one of its affiliates). We were presented and sold a deal of 2.44% with guaranteed savings by Evergreen NOT separate contracts/agreements with multiple companies. There was blatant fraudulent mis***resentation by ******* ******** (Sales ***) and ****** ********* (NSM) on May 3, 2024. Our sales *** used $37,798.92 based on the previous months volume with our previous provider, which was during a busy season for our company. We told the sales *** ****** was not the norm year-round. It is possible we could process as low as $0 in credit card transactions during the slow season. There is no way we can process the volume used on the quote every month. He said that was OK and that the $37,000+ number was just a number for him to use for a quote. I made several inquiries to Evergreen to try to determine the minimum volume of transactions we needed to process to make sure our cost would remain at $0.00 NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THAT QUESTION! We clearly stated to the sales *** that the previous months statement from the provider was not correct, but he didnt want to wait for the next months statement to show accurate information. The one used by the Sales *** was not correct as we were only required to pay $9.95/month fee + processing fees of 2.99%. The 2.99% processing fees were 100%covered by our customers so our out-of-pocket was only $9.95 a month. The Sales *** said it didnt matter what figures were used because with Evergreen our out-of-pocket would be $0.00 and our customers would get the benefit of a 2.5%processing fee. We were sold this program as a win for our company and our customers! LIE FALSE!!! ******************** said once we processed for 30 days, we would see how the program fit our needs and Evergreen could show proof of our savings that were promised or we could cancel at no cost to us. Evergreen never said it had to be a full statement period of at least 30 days. The timeframe in which we processed using Evergreen services was a full 30 days and totaled $37,061.84 (less than 2% short the volume on quote). The ***utable company that handles e-signatures across the nation used by Evergreen certainly did NOT get the audit trail correct in this case. The audit trail is NOT valid and cannot be used as a legal binding document as claimed in Evergreens response to BBB complaint. ****************** is NOT a valid email address for ******* ****** or ****************************** dba Red Brush Outdoor. An e-signature audit trail proves date, email account (****************** is not a valid email for our company), and ** address but does NOT prove who physically clicked throughout the documents. There is no proof CJacobs received documents via a valid email address or CJacobs, in person, physically clicked on any field within the documents at the ** address of record, as the Sales *** quickly clicked through the documents. Using the timestamps on the audit trail as fact from that ***utable company, it is unrealistic anyone could read and sign the documents in that ****** of time. I hereby revoke permission given to Evergreen Payment Solutions and affiliates to automatically deduct fees from any financial institution account owned by ****************************** ********************* or any ************************* member. This revocation has been given to financial institutions and was effective as of July 16, *********************************** closed status. Financial Institutions are on alert and will assist in ***orting any fraudulent activity, including any attempts to debit accounts or access account information. I hereby render any agreement with Evergreen Payment Solutions and its affiliates as null and void on the basis of fraud, forgery, unethical business practices, unfair leases, and Evergreen Payment Solutions being a SCAM. Communication on this matter has been provided via email and **** to Evergreen Payment Solutions and all affiliates contained within forms, quotes, applications or other documentation we have received from Evergreen Payment Solutions and/or affiliates. Evergreen Payment Solutions claims to be a company based on "honesty, integrity, and transparency" - which could not be further from the truth! I have posted across multiple social media platforms warning potential Evergreen Payment Solutions customers: DO NOT SIGN UP WITH EPS....This company is a scam full of empty promises, blatant lies, fraudulent mis***resentation, forging signatures (sales *** "electronically signed" docs using my name)! Evergreen and affiliates refuse to let us out of contract unless we pay $20,000 for equipment lease which was never discussed since we were sold "all free equipment" and told if Evergreen could not beat our previous provider, then we could cancel at any time with no cost to us. We stopped processing credit card transactions with Evergreen & have been trying to cancel with Evergreen (and affiliates) as of July 16, 2024 since we refuse to do business with a fraudulent company we cannot trust. Evergreen and affiliates refuse to accept our legal binding written notification of intent to cancel services in order to attempt to keep charging us monthly fees on the inactive account. TELL ALL YOUR SMALL BUSINESS FRIENDS & FAMILY TO NEVER DEAL WITH EVERGREEN PAYMENT SOLUTIONS. They don't care that they purposely mislead potential customers and ultimately drive small business owners into bankruptcy due to fraudulent mis***resentation and hidden unfair leases.Initial Complaint

I am a new victim of this companys scam. I was tricked into signing with Evergreen Payment Solutions. They sent a representative named ****** *****, offering to save me money for my credit card processing machine. She reassured me that for the Covid relief program, it would just be a monthly rate of $288 with no additional fees. After switching over to them for 2 weeks I noticed that they were charging me 3.95% per transaction. They were charging me close to 4% per transaction, which was never disclosed during the signing of the contract. Very dishonest people. They said they were only going to charge me $288 per month, but the first bill from ************** was $383.51 and 3.95% per transaction. When I called to ask them about this charge, they said it was charging for part of the month before, and that there is a $17 dollar upcharge per month that they can only remove if we added them to my business insurance under a different clause. Again this was never mentioned during the initial signing of the contract. After calling several representatives to terminate the contract, they send **** ********* as the first point of contact. He offered me nothing but to switch over to the Fortune 500 Plan. Then I talked to *****, the manager, who also offered the same thing. Why would I work with a company that is so dishonest about their products? All I want is to terminate my contract as I was lied to into signing up. On top of this, ***** the manager said that to terminate the contract, we would have to pay them $11,000 dollars for the leasing of the terminal. Also she said that I cannot terminate the contract and have to continue working with them, or pay the $11,000 or get a lawyer. All we want to do is to terminate our contract with Evergreen Payment Solutions To fellow small business owners,THIS COMPANY IS SCARY, FRAUDULENT SCAMMERS, AVOIDBusiness Response

Thank you for contacting Evergreen Payment Solutions! Your business signed with Evergreen Payment Solutions recently in August of 2024, the pricing structure agreed to at the time of signing was our "Cash Discount" pricing structure. This program allows your business to eliminate credit card fees all while rewarding your customers. We do this by automatically adjusting your prices to offer a reward to customers paying by cash. This reward is in the form of a discount. This is something the gas stations have been doing for years where they have a cash price and a card price. We have taken this concept that has worked for them for years and have expanded the program to every industry/business!
Attached is the original quote assigned to your business showing the 3.95% broken down within your program, please review the quote as it lists the disclaimer that mentions the insurance costs added to the equipment program should you not provide proof of insurance. This was all covered at the time of signing your agreement.
Evergreen Payment Solutions is here to benefit your business and place more money in your pocket, we have escalated your account further to have a team member get into contact with you as soon as possible! Please give us a call directly if you wish to speak with us sooner, we value your business!

I am rejecting this response because:Evergreen Payment Solutions deliberately put my dental office in the cash discount program, with the knowledge that most of transactions are through the insurance. We were never told or informed that we were in the cash discount program. We were never told that either I, or our patients are responsible for the 3.95% per transaction. I was only told that it would be $288 per month, and that I would be saving $295 per month by switching to Evergreen. Turns out to be lie, I would be paying almost double from my previous merchant provider.
Correct, the 3.95% was written in the contract, but it was deliberately hidden from me before signing the contract. They only directed me to the savings, and never even mention top portion that included the 3.95%. When your representative, Leslie, signed me up, she said that it would be $288 a month with no additional transaction fees. I asked her several times, she and her manager reassured me that it is only $288 a month. And now you guys are charging me 3.95% per transaction because your representative lied to my face to get me to sign the contract.
I process $19,000 a month of credit cards, all from insurances that cannot do cash. You guys claimed that you would save me $295 a month from my previous merchant. The truth is, 19,000x 3.95% = $750.80 + $288= $1038.89 of fees to Evergreen.
You send a representative, Leslie into my office, lied about being able to save me money if I switch over to Evergreen. You guys promised to save me money, and got me to sign the contract. Then start charging me more than my previous merchant who was only charging me $582.64 per month given the volume of $1900. Your company wants to charge me over $1000 a month, because of the 3.95% that you guys deliberately hidden from me during the talk with Leslie and her manager.
I want to terminate my contract as I was blatantly tricked into signing it. Your company is committing fraud. I was withheld critical information from during the interview with your company. This contract has no legal bounds, you guys blatantly lied to me to get me to sign it.
I want the return address or shipping label provided for the return of the terminals.
Sincerely,
Zhi ZhengBusiness Response

Thank you for reaching out to Evergreen Payment Solutions!
Attached you will find your quote for pricing, this includes the Cash Discount Program & confirmation on how your pricing is built to save you money against your previous provider. These details were covered multiple times in person and over the phone as your entered into this agreement.
With the 3.95% passed to your customers, more money will be placed in your pocket! If Cash Discount does not work for your business & more than 60% of your transactions processing through insurance, Evergreen Payment Solutions has other options available that will still save you money.
For the month of September, you only processed for 7 days total. Without a full 30 days of processing your electronic payments through Evergreen, the program does not work the way it is meant to. If you are wishing to cancel and not plug back in your system, your business is responsible for the penalties included in your agreements.
Please give us a call if you would like to discuss this further,

In late May a representative of Evergreen Payment Solutions approached our business with a quote for merchant services that would cost $538/month and save us several thousand dollars each year in credit card fees. There was pressure to sign up right away, complete the application, etc. We received a box with equipment containing 4 credit card readers and we only have one register. During the process of completing paperwork to get set up, we noticed a LOT of one time, annual and monthly fees. Additionally, we were told all the equipment we'd received was "backup" and that we had to order the equipment to be used. This new equipment would come at an added cost, of course. We stopped signing paperwork and asked for an explanation of all the fees, etc. No response was given. One representative set up a phone call appointment to discuss the questions, but then did not call nor respond to messages. We feel their onboarding process is misleading and fraudulent. They say one thing then do another. When questioned, you don't feel like you're getting a straight answer. They began charging our account for fees, said we'd get a refund, but no refund has been issued. We would not recommend Evergreen Payment Solutions or their affiliates.Business Response

Hello *******,
Thank you for contacting Evergreen Payment Solutions! After reviewing the details on your account, we quoted your business with our Cash Discount Program based off of $42,149.33 in volume on a monthly basis. Annually, Evergreen Payment Solutions is set to save you over $6,000 in revenue. The Cash Discount Program allows our merchants to eliminate credit card fees all while rewarding your customers! ******************** does this by automatically adjusting your prices to offer a reward to customers paying by cash, this reward is in the form of a discount. We have attached your quote that confirms the $538 monthly total to your business and how it is built with the equipment program of $499 per month.
We would like to point out that the equipment sent to your business is all factored into your quote! This ensures you will have no interruption in processing should any unit's malfunction or we need to swap something out for your business. To address your concerns on the fees included with the merchant agreement- these are standard within the merchant service industry. Evergreen Payment Solutions clearly lays them out within our application so there are no surprises, the items you are concerned with are directly passed from the card brands and will be assessed with any merchant service provider you choose.
Your questions and points listed have been escalated through our management team and we will have someone give you a call directly! We hope that you give us the opportunity to gain your business and your trust, we look forward to speaking with you.

I am rejecting this response because:I have been told many times that "someone would call me" or "get back to me" with answers to my questions but this does not happen. I have attached multiple emails showing my questions during this process. These have yielded no response from anyone from EPS or their affiliates. The response I did get was a text response to set up a phone call, which I did, but then no one called. I have had other text responses saying someone would contact me ASAP but that never transpires. When I needed to sign something...I was getting contacted left and right. But when I have questions - nothing. I sent a request for reimbursement of fees that have already been charged in the amount of $251.62 but have not even received a response nor the refund. While I do see that the equipment (FOUR card readers when I only have ONE register) you sent me would cost me $499 per month and that was included in the quoted price, you are telling me I won't even use that equipment, but I need to order another piece of equipment. Everyone I have asked says the equipment I received are just backups in case something happens. Why do I need 4 backups that I am paying $499 per month for and also need additional equipment that comes with its own lease fees? Other merchant service companies have only ever sent me one piece of equipment.
If all I was paying was $538/month, it's true that we would save around $6,000 per year. However, I added up all the annual, 1 time, monthly and per transaction fees. Those added up to $6,173 just in the first year. Also, why would I pay $1 per month for the *********************** and $1 per month to Dollar 4 ********? While these are small dollar fees, I did not agree to these donations that were inserted in the application.
When I finally said that I would not sign the last document that was sent my way until someone answered my questions, the e-sign document was cancelled and no one has responded since then. At this point, I would like the following to happen:
1. A refund in the amount of $251.62 in fees that have been charged to my account. I was told that until everything as all set up, any account charges would be refunded.
2. I hereby revoke permission given to Evergreen Payment Solutions and their affiliates to automatically deduct fees from the *********************** LLC dba Western Anglers business account ending in #****. This revocation has been given to our bank and is effective immediately. My bank has stated that they do have the ability to stop payment and will also assist me in reporting fraudulent activity. This includes and ETF's that may be charged.
3. I further hereby render any agreement with any of the following entities and their affiliates as null and void on the basis of fraud and false advertising.
4. Equipment received will be returned in its original form. No equipment has been installed or used.
5. This information has been communicated by email and postal mail to Evergreen Payment Solutions and all affiliates found on forms, quotes, applications or other documentation.
Sincerely,

On Feb 19, 2024, I was approached by a sales agent for Evergreen payment solutions, about changing credit card processors so that I could save money at my business. He quoted me a very low rate on V/MC/Dis as well as a few other fees, but the biggest fee being a flat rate of $130/mon that was described as both a subscription and an equipment lease at the same time. That's a huge flat rate to overcome, but the quoted discount rate seemed to show that they would save me money overall. Their effective rate 1.89%, compared to 2.5-2.9% I was paying before. They promised I would save money, even guaranteed that in writing, and would release me from the (4 yr $130/month) equipment obligations if they were not able to provide savings. Their rates after I processed with them for 2 months were not close to the quoted amount or quoted rates. The effective rate was more than 50% of their quote. They have been unable to provide any breakdown of the quoted rates to see how they came up with their estimated fee. They guaranteed I would save money, I didn't. They said they would release me of the equipment obligations, and would switch me to the processor of my choice. They have refused and are now threatening legal action. The contract I signed under the assumption that the quote and guarantee of savings would protect me if I was paying more to their company that I would have paid my current processor, is **************************************************************************************************************************************** where to sign. Assuming the contract stated what the salesman and phone agent were assuring me, and I also had the assurance of a document releasing me from obligations I didn't want, I signed the huge confusing contract. They didn't do what they promised, they broke their agreement. They promised savings, they didn't produce. They promised to release me, they are trying not to.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The quote the company provided me was for $21049.48 and around $392.67, including the subscription fee. (I understand that this amount can be a little higher depending on the cards used.)
In April I processed $18,613 and they charged me $601.96 with the subscription fee.
In May, I processed $15,106 and they charged me $508.58 with the subscription fee.
Whether a whole month was used or not, they charged me MORE than the quoted amount for processing LESS in sales. We are not talking about effective rate - this is just the gross numbers. They charged me 50% more than their quoted amount for when I processed $2500 less. It doesn't matter if this was over 3 weeks or the whole month, they charged me more for less.
They have also talked about changing the SIC code from one repair business to another type. This is not going to change much by way of interchange rates, and why didn't they use the best SIC code when they started my processing? What code did they use when they gave me a quote?
I was guaranteed savings, they have no way of guaranteeing me savings and thus they should honor their promise of changing me back to the provider of my choice without any early termination fees or equipment obligations.
Sincerely,

Juniper,
There are many factors that come into play when calculating your rates and the savings listed on the quoted agreement. The volume has a heavy factor due to the equipment program being based on a benchmark volume, if you are not meeting the volume expectation this will outweigh your effective percentage rate. There is a disclaimer listed on your quote, please review this at the bottom of the signed sheet as it lists these details.Outside of the volume not meeting the quote, you also did not process for a full statement period. To address your reference to changing the SIC Code, your SIC Code was set appropriately, we have options to change the fee class after you begin processing to quality you for better interchange rates if needed. If a business functions under the wrong SIC code(s) / fee classes, they may be paying more than they need to on interchange fees and are missing out on discounts they may qualify for. In most cases, it takes expert-level knowledge to truly understand which SIC codes will suit your business best as well as seeing how you process on average. This is not something that can be determined at face value each time.
As recently as yesterday, our team has been in contact with you. Evergreen Payment Solutions has reached a mutual resolution that is pending your signature to proceed. This is being sent to your email for documentation and attached here as well.
Please call if you have any further questions,

November of 2023 a guy named ***** started coming into my business trying to sell me on his credit card processing services(Evergreen Payment Solutions). I decided to give him a shot on 1/10/24. Things started off badly and escalated to the nightmare I am now in. I was noticing charges coming from ****. First thing that popped up when I googled that was a government website, however I would come to find out it was ********** Merchant Solutions. I also was seeing separate charges coming from ********* Payments who was a known affiliate of Evergreen. I contacted *****, and **** from Evergreen and they were both adamant that those charges had nothing to do with them. I told them both that I was going to put a stop payment on anything that was not them, and they said that was what they recommend. A few weeks later I started getting letters from ****** saying that I owed them money. They were apparently the ones behind the **** withdrawals. ***** told me there is no reason for those lease fees and they were included in what my monthly fee with Evergreen. Evergreen by the way quoted me out at 2.08%, and was in fact charging me 3.9%-5.5%, and if you include the 3rd party fee it goes up over 11%! For example: February 2024 they processed $7321.66 and charged me $404.74 (5.5%), and then the lease fee was$458.59 (6.2%). After going through a couple consultations, and Evergreen trying to get me to resign a backdated contract at 3.11%. I decided to start the process of dropping them as my cc provider. I have a letter of guarantee saying they will pay off my lease and let me go if they don't save me money. That was a month ago and now I'm getting letters from **** claiming that I owe them $15,760.20! It took an hour to get on boarded with them and now it has been more than 3 weeks for the cancelation team to get back to me. I am a small business and this amount of money will either put me out of business or ruin my credit. I don't know how this is legal.Business Response

*****,
Thank you for contacting Evergreen Payment Solutions! When quoted for your new merchant service agreement, Evergreen Payment Solutions quoted your business a total savings against the 3.86% you paid with your previous provider.
That cost analysis included your equipment program that is built through FDGL. This program is all encompassed with your savings of nearly $2,000 on an annual basis. We would also like to note that FDGL brands themselves as Clover, we have explained in detail with your scheduled quality control calls. On a recent conversation with you involving your rates, there were adjustments made to your account to provide you with more savings moving forward! For the month of February, your business was charged $247.32 based off of $7,321.66 in volume for your merchant processing. While being quoted for services, your business provided an average monthly volume of $22,114.79. Your business has yet to meet the quoted volume since beginning your services in February of this year. To keep good faith, we have issued you a credit to help with volume differences over the last 4 statement periods.
With your agreement being signed with Evergreen Payment Solutions, we would like to take a moment to explain the relationship between Riverside Payments and Evergreen Payment Solutions. Our company, Evergreen Payment Solutions, is the company that handles all sales and servicing on your account. Riverside ********************* provides us with the ability to access rates and govern best practices to ensure that all activity is aligned with the requirements **** and MasterCard put out for the industry. The charges you are referencing to your DDA are for billbacks associated with the major card brands, these are not set to recur to your business.
Evergreen Payment Solutions has discussed your cancellation requests at length, explaining if you cancel services, you will be responsible for the agreement terms.
We have escalated your account further and will have a team member reach out to you shortly!
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:Your sales rep ***** told me that my lease fee was going to be through Evergreen, and should be built into the monthly fee that appears on my bank statement as "*************CD" and that should be the only account making withdrawals on my account. However, I have had 3 different "companies" making withdrawals: ************** FDMS, and Riverside Payments. I would be thinking that I am crazy if it weren't for the other local businesses who have signed up with ***** that are having the same problems...This reeks of a scam. ************** Evergreen, or whatever you want to call yourselves may have only taken out the $247 for February, but I was then charged another $458.59 by FDMS, or Clover, or whoever. You keep wasting my time having me call in for "consultations" where you tell me that you ARE saving me money, but simple arithmetic says otherwise. You then try and con me into signing a "new" backdated quote that is over 3.1%. I understand that I was dumb enough to sign up with Evergreen in the first place, but **** that's pretty insulting to even my limited intellect.
So you say its based on volume? OK, well, lets take the month of April...I did $20,529.38 in CC transactions. ************* took $781.33(3.8%), which is still higher than the 2.08-2.62% I was originally quoted, but not egregious. The egregious part happens when I am then hit with another charge of $385 for an equipment lease from FDMS. That brings the CC processing fee for the month of April to $1,166.33 (5.7%). Which once again ***** told me the equipment lease should be included in the ************* withdrawals. That is why at both his and ****'s recommendation I put a stop payment on anything that wasn't *************. I now have $15,760.20 bill that I am apparently being sent to collections over. How is it justifiable that these cheap POS terminals are worth over $17,000.00 after what they claim I owe and what I've already paid? Seriously I want that questioned answered! By the way I thought It was odd that I got so many terminals when I only needed one, but ***** assured me that I wasn't being charged for them and they are just "redundant...because they break a lot" you would think if they're worth over 5k apiece they'd be sturdier. Once again, reeks of a scam!
I've been told someone would contact me "soon" for almost a month now. I need this taken care of NOW! This $15,760.20 bill would literally put me out of business. I would spend that money on an attorney well before I'd ever pay that ****. It's frustrating because it took me less than an hour to be onboarded, and there is a direct number you can call if you want to sign up for this terrible service. When it comes time to cancel?...No direct number, no emails, no way to check status, nothing. Just call your rep or a random customer service person to have them tell you "soon".
Sincerely,

Hello,
Please review the quote you signed with your account executive *****; the $420 equipment program is built in with your savings against your previous provider. We would also like to reiterate that you represented your business would process $22,114.79 in volume on a monthly average to achieve a savings against your previous provider of 3.86%.There are factors that play into the charges tied to your merchant account, such as PCI compliance fees and other penalty fees if you do not meet standard requirements.
For the month of June, you were not PCI compliant, this has carried the penalty fees within your statement balance and is not included in your quoted effective rate. We are happy to discuss the other outstanding items on your account, we attempted to do this with you when you requested to terminate the agreement.
To confirm, if you terminate your services with Evergreen Payment Solutions you are responsible for the penalties involved. We will have a team member connect with you again to ensure that you understand the options you have to move forward.

I am rejecting this response because:I was PCI compliant as of 5/24/24. I have STILL not received a phone call. Bottom line you are NOT saving me money. Instead, you are costing me a fortune and causing unnecessary stress. I have been trying to cancel services since the first week of June. You have tried getting me to resign backdated documents, and I have been lied to about what I should be paying. I have lost all trust in your business and services. Thank you for contacting our team, when we spoke to you about your savings in May of this year - Evergreen Payments confirmed the charges you are questioning are from your previous processor.

I am rejecting this response because:I filled out the *** compliance with someone from another company you guys put me in contact with on May 23/24(MX Merchant)because you guys "don't handle the *** compliance stuff". You cost me more than my previous processor without the the added on "equipment rental"(through yet another company(Clover/FDMS)), and when you include the extra "fees" its more than 4x more(over 12%)! You keep promising to save me money, then you charge even more, and try to get me to sign back-dated contracts for a higher amount that I originally signed on for. I have been doing my best to go point by point on all of your responses, and address each thing you say individually. However, I feel like I'm talking to a bot. Why did one of your people try to coerce me into signing a back-dated contract? Why will you not honor your letter of guarantee? How can those 3 terminals (two of which are not necessary) be worth over $17,000? Are you really going to force my hand, and make me contact an attorney? Please respond to each of those questions. I personally know another local business owner who is having the same issue with you, and judging from the other reviews on this website there are even more people like me. You say the equipment is included in your fees, send multiple terminals even if the business only needs one, or doesn't need any at all! You then allow a third party access to our bank accounts to charge an insane leasing fee on said equipment. Evergreen has proven to be sketchy company at best, and full-on criminal scammers at worse. I'm thinking it's more of the latter. By the way I have STILL not heard from the cancellation ****** It's been over two months! This has been the BIGGEST headache I've had to deal with as a business owner. We are obviously too far apart on this, and I can never trust Evergreen again. Honor your letter of guarantee, and LET ME GO!

A young man came in to our business and wanted to talk to us about changing our credit card processor. I said no, but my husband kept bugging me to it least talk to him because they were promising a much lower rate. They promised a 2.25% interest rate and free equipment. After I signed the contract, they then came back and said they needed more information to honor the rates. I told them the contract was signed, and I was not sending any more information. They kept sending more emails and calling saying they needed more information. I told them AGAIN I had already signed the contract, all they needed to do was send the equipment. Fast forward three months, they sent another contract they wanted me to sign, the rate is now 4.50%. I did not sign this contract and told them I would not sign the contract.Fast forward one week, I receive three boxes of credit card equipment in the mail. I then received a letter from Clover and my monthly lease rate for the equipment is $650 a month plus applicable taxes.I called Clover, and they said I can dispute, but I need to get in touch with the payment processor. I called and spoke with a young gal who was a supervisor, and explained the situation. She was of no help of course. I have had several businesses and know that credit card processors and Clover (equipment lessor) operate on the fringes and get by with unbelievably dishonest business dealings. I knew better!!Please. save yourself the heartache. If someone from Evergreen Financial calls or stops by with a great credit card rate or free equipment offer, do not believe them. This is business as normal for them. They lie to get you to sign a contract, then turn around and need more information to honor the contact you signed. Then when you dont sign their new contract, all the rates and equipment rates change. Honestly, I cant even get my head around this - bizarre!Business Response

Hello *****!
Thank you for contacting Evergreen Payment Solutions. In January of this year, your business signed for services on our Cash Discount Program. This program allows our merchants to eliminate credit card fees all while rewarding your customers.
Based off this program, Evergreen Payments Solutions began the process to integrate into your existing Stripe *** software. The documents received were sent to you to ensure the *** is provided with the correct information to integrate seamlessly. We have noted that once your integration was ready, you opted out of our Cash Discount Program to move over to our F500 rates. This is the change of rates you were referencing. With the Cash Discount program, you were set to pay 1.71%. Without offering your customers the Cash Discount, your F500 rates would be changed to a 2.25% all-inclusive rate. Whichever program you choose, you are set to save between $3500 - $6500 on an annual basis.
We have escalated your concerns to our management team, someone will be in contact with you. If you would like to speak with someone sooner, please give us a call directly at ************.Sincerely,

As can be seen by the above documentation, after signing the original contract, I received an email from *********************** requesting 3 months of bank statements and credit card statements. He emailed twice a day everyday, asking for the same thing. I asked him, Why? He never answered, he just kept sending the same emails. He also called twice a day everyday.
i emailed ************************* - the original sales person whom I signed the contract with and asked him if I was turned over to another credit card company ot what happened, why am I being asked for more information. You can see the documentation above.
I have attached the new contract above. They sent me a total of four new contracts to sign - which I never signed.
Then the grand slam, they had Clover send three boxes of credit card equipment and and invoice for $660 per month to lease said equipment. This invoice was attached in the previous statement. As I said to *****, why would I lease equipment for $660 per month when I currently own my equipment?
This is classic bait and switch. I thought I was dealing with Evrrgreen Payment Solutions, but I actually was dealing with ********************* ***** had me sign a contract with Evergreen, and then turned me over to *********. One of the selling points in the beginning was that Evergreen cut out the middle man, therefore their rates are less expensive. Laughable!
The above practice is deceptive, devious and downright dishonest. I thought because ***** was a local guy, I was dealing with someone above board. That is the farthest thing possible from the truth.
Look at other BBb reviews, ****** reviews, ******** reviews for Evergreen Financial - this is their normal - this is how they operate.

I am rejecting this response because:You can only upload 5 items - I have endless emails from ************************* (sales - Evergreen Payment Solutions), *************************** (merchant support - Riverside Payment Services), *********************** (AKA *************************** - Riverside Payment Solutions).
I signed a contract with ************************* and Evergreen Payment Solutions. The interest rate was 2.25 % and the equipment was FREE. He said the equipment would be shipped and them onboarding would call and make an appointment to set us up and processing. The very next day, I started receiving texts, emails and phone calls from *********************** requesting 3 months of bank statements and 3 months of credit card statements, I was perplexed, I told him I had already signed a contract and would not be sending more information. As you can see in an attached email, I asked ***** what was going on. I asked him why after signing a contract I needed to provide more information. I asked him specifically if I had been transferred to another company or what was going on.
It is obvious when looking through the emails that I was no longer dealing with Evergreen Payment Solutions, but Riverside Payment Services instead - that is why they needed more information.
In all the multiple emails that **** and **** sent me, i received four different applications to apply for a merchant account. I attached one of these applications. The rate had now gone up to 4.25% and I did not even open the new contract for equipment they sent.
Is this bait and switch, what is going on here? I honestly have never been through such a bizarre, dishonest, deceptive interaction in my life. I thought I was working with Evergreen Payment Services, signed a contract with them, then they turn me over to ********* Payment Services, but I have to send more information, reapply, and be thankful they are saving, me money by cutting out the middle man.
I have been dealing with this for four months. **** calls so much that everyone at work jokes with me and says my stalker is on the phone. I think they got frustrated that I would not play ball by their absurd rules, so they sent the equipment contract into Clover. Clover sent me 3 boxes of equipment which comes with a lease payment of $660.00 per month. First of all, I do not need more than one piece of equipment as we process everything through the front desk. They sent a minimum of 3 pieces of equipment. I did not open all the boxes as the equipment is being returned, so there could be more than 3. I also currently own my equipment, so why would I agree to a lease payment of $660 per month through Clover?
Since this has happened, I have gone on ************************ Reviews, Better Business Bureau, and done research on Evergreen. This is normal business practice for them.
I realize that the BBB cannot solely police these unethical, dishonest, deceptive credit card processing companies, but something has to be done. I have no doubt I will get this taken care of, but the money, time, and energy it takes to file complaints, contact lawyers, and write these explanations is time I will never get back.
It is funny that in the response from Evergreen they said they would be contacting me. I sat on the phone for over an hour yesterday, I wanted to speak to the Founder *******************. I waited patiently, kept getting transferred around, explaining my story. The supervisor, ***************************, finally told me that she was the highest person on the hierarchy chain that I could speak to, and she could do absolutely nothing for me. She told me I needed to understand that they are like Amazon, ******************* would never speak to a customer on the phone, he is obviously way too important for that.
I wholeheartedly reject their response. They know what they need to do to make this right. I obviously am not going to go away quietly.
Sincerely,
*************************Initial Complaint
