    I took my Legacy to be serviced (oil-change) on a rainy and snowy day, when I got back to my house parked the car in the garage, packed my bags and went to ****** for four days. Upon arrival I was getting my car ready for the week, and I noticed that the windshield had two long cracks. I called the dealer and I spoke with *** service manager, and he said there is no way they did it. I called again to solve the problem and he refused to admit and not repair the damaged glass.

    I don't see how our shop could be responsible for this due to our processes and quality control.  That said, I want to come to a resolution here that works for both of us.  I am willing to split the cost of a replacement windshield with you.  If you find a windshield that will work, please let me know and I will work with my Service Director to get this installed and I will cover half of the part and the labor.

    I was explicitly lied to during the purchase and am still dealing with that at this point. Most notably, Im dealing with it myself because I cant get a call back otherwise. Why would they call me back? They already have their money.My vehicle needs chips installed that werent available when the truck was built. These chips have been available for some time and - side note - absolutely should have been installed before this truck was even made available. This point was even made by my salesman during the purchase, though Ive learned that doesnt mean a whole lot. I dont live in Wenatchee and was assured during my vehicle purchase that these chips would be delivered to my local dealership to be installed. After waiting patiently for this to happen, Im told the chips are in Wenatchee and I can either come there to have them installed or the chips will be sent back. A front license plate holder was also supposed to be installed given the ** front license plate requirement, but I evidently get to deal with that myself, as well. I dont live in Wenatchee and cant come there to have the chips installed. This isnt news to anybody as I made it ******* clear during the purchase.The service department (who was obviously not involved during the purchase and related discussions) was very reasonable and seems to be just doing their job, but I spent a lot of money on a vehicle just to be lied to and thrown aside. Ill now go through my local dealership on my own to do what was already supposed to happen based on lies from my salesman *****. Im happy with my vehicle, but my happiness has nothing to do with the dishonest services provided by this dealership, and Id never do business here again regardless of what vehicle they have available.Now Ill start the process over to have the chips ordered locally, wait for them to arrive, and then go locally to have them installed - all while Cascade mails their chips back instead of following through on their agreement.

    ****************** We apologize for the miscommunication here. I am calling your local Chevrolet dealership to ask that they request a parts transfer from our inventory to theirs so they can install the chips. This is a warranty repair and must be done at a Chevrolet store and we are happy to send them the chips. I will also ask that they request the front license plate bracket so all service items can be done at the same visit. Again we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused but we will get these sent out ASAP after contact with your local store.
