    ******, the owner of the company, never once spoke to us or met personally with us. She had bought this place from our previous tax lady and we decided to give her a chance. ****** always had her assistant call us and that was sparse.We paid a $250 deposit and dropped off our taxes of the end February 2023. Didn't hear back until about 10 days before taxes were due in April, that additional documents were needed. Got her the documents she requested. She never informed us that she put in an extension. We never heard anything other than she was working on it and that we were supposedly in the batch of taxes that were done wrong from the previous accountant. Which I wholeheartedly believe was a lie. No communication with us unless we reached out trying to figure out what was up with our taxes. Oh once maybe to see if we were still going to have her do our taxes. Yes, only because she had our deposit, it was October - kind of too late now to find someone else and good.Sunday morning, the day before taxes had to be filed (October 2023) she sends an email saying we had to file some form and it was $400 for her to do it. We had no choice. So our final bill for her, that had to be paid before she filed our taxes, was $1, ******. Mind you, we have no business. Just personal. I have never paid that much money for someone to do taxes. Not once did ****** let us know what the cost would be to file our taxes, not once did she mention an additional $400 form. I believe we have been overcharged and scammed.When we reached out to her about our bill, she never responded and she had deactivated our account.
