Do not buy an EV or Hybrid from 405 motors. I bought a 2012 ****** Prius and 13 days later the high voltage battery failed rendering the car un-drivable. I brought the car to 405 motors to see if theyd make things right by replacing, repairing, or helping with the cost of a new battery. Their technician un-plugged the battery and plugged it back in and told me the code had cleared. Less than 10 miles later the battery failure warning came back. They offered no support and said I was on my own. Before I bought the car I tested the battery and knew it wasnt in perfect condition. I thought Id get 1-2 years out of it, not 13 days. The ****** here is 405 motors will not help you if you have battery issues. Their technicians arent capable and they wont even attempt to make things right. They have a 30 day warranty but it just covers **************. Buyer beware.

I bought a vehicle from them for 12k, only had 123k miles on it. I was told 'all repairs were handled and it's safe to drive'. Just a few days after the purchase, the vehicle was having terrible trouble starting and was hesitating to accelerate. I took it to a mechanic who has had the vehicle for almost 2 months now and the repair bill, so far, is over 10k. The mechanic told me "I would have told you to walk away from this vehicle. It's completely unsafe in its condition." When I called and spoke to the manager at 405 Motors about the vehicle having issues he was raising his voice at me with a shaky voice, clearly easily agitated. Not someone who should be managing a shop but that's another story. Even the repairs that 405 did do were...well, nothing short of just plain lazy. Rather than replace 2 of the oxygen sensors, they plugged the holes instead. Leaking differential (both front and rear), shock absorbers were completely worn out, AMF was bad and had to be replaced, engine had sludge in it from the oil not being changed for so long, rocker arm was bent beyond belief, U-Joint was completely worn out (veteran mechanic said he'd never seen one that bad), passenger window doesn't work, overhead cab light stays on, vehicle stalls, loud metal clanking sounds...the list goes on. I'll never go back to 405 ever again and I've already told everyone I know to stay away from it. Nothing but lies from everyone I dealt with there and they will lead you into a false sense of safety and security. For your own sake (and again, safety) please purchase a vehicle from another lot and have it taken to a mechanic for inspection *before* you purchase the vehicle. Do not believe anything 405 Motors tells you.

I took their 2011 Blue WRX they listed for $17K to *************** for a Buyers Inspection. The Inspection reported over $19K in required repairs. This car, while it looked good on the outside and had less than 60K miles on it was mistreated. This car should not be sold for anything other than parts. I have a feeling their entire lot is filled with this. Be ware and stay away from this lot!

WOULD HAVE GIVEN A 0...In November 2021 I bought a ****** Rav 4 from this company, they lied about it being safe in the condition it was in, he said there was a (sticker from state patrol) and said it was a re built and the man who sold me the Rav4 said: see this is a completely safe vehicle, in regards from the sticker. I had my son in law come over to check and see if i can put a tow package on my car for my little utility tailor (my son in law has been a mechanic for over 10 years). He went and took a look and came back with pictures and said: I have devastating news, it's a mangled metal mess and I should not be driving it. I tried to find a collision repair shop and finally found one who was willing to see and give me a powerpoint with photos, the repair shop also told me not to drive it, that it was completely unsafe to be driving and I should have never bought the car or anyone else bought it for that matter (he called it a mangled train wreck). THIS IS FRAUD!!! My Rav4 has been sitting for a month and I had to purchase another vehicle in its place. Im extremely disappointed at the point of being angry with 405 Motors of ***********, they made the outside look very pretty, BUT its not at all safe for anyone to be driving. A complete compensation for all moneys given and i've used towards this vehicle should be returned to me. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS!!!!! FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD!!!!!!!Signed me ********************
