    Very disappointed with service. Brought my vehicle in due to an oil leak, which turned out to be an issue with the rear main seal. Work was supposed to only take 2 days to complete, which turned in to a week. They did give a small discount on my $2,600.00 bill for the time delay. While repairs were being done, they claimed there was a "very small" crack on the exhaust manifold. Mind you my vehicle had absolutely no exhaust noise when I brought it to them. Now less than a week later my car sounds like a grizzly bear and you can smell exhaust fumes immediately once started, inside the cabin of the vehicle. Today I called to express my frustration about this and only response I received was, "well that's unfortunate" and that "something must have been disturbed when they removed the exhaust". When searching online I found that there was possibly a recall for this issue on my vehicle and when I asked them if they could check on this form me I was told no, and that I could call a Ford dealership (my vehicle is a Chevy) and I would need to find this information myself. I just spent almost $2,700 on repairs and I am beyond disappointed that your technician couldn't even take the time to plug my VIN number into a website online and let me know if the recall applied to my vehicle

    Allow Accurate to clarify some aspects of this complaint. It is true that this was a complicated and costly repair to fix a leaking rear main seal. While the repair was estimated for over 12 working hours, our technician came down with sickness for two days in the middle of the project, so it took even longer to complete. We appreciated her patience with our time frame, and expressed our appreciation to her when we gave her a ride back to pick up her vehicle. When we had the vehicle apart, we noticed the crack in the exhaust manifold starting to show and made her aware of that fact. For her own monetary ability, she declined adding the manifold repair to the job. It would have been easier and less costly when everything was apart than starting over later. Once she declined, we proceeded to conclude the original repair project. As far as the fact of the manifold sounding louder now, all manifold leaks progress to greater leakage. We did not hear anything when she picked up the car, but driving on rough roads in winter may well have ****** the cracking to increase. It is unfortunate that it has progressed. Any warranty from GM is something that only a dealer can solve for her. We have checked online and found nothing at this point in time in regard to the exhaust manifold. We understand that **************** is upset, but we accomplished her repair in an ethical and open communicative way. If she returns to us, we will continue to serve her repair needs in a positive way.
