Took my car here to get fixed, when I got my car back I started it in the parking lot and had my check engine light still on and my glow plug light was also blinking. I went inside and told them that something wasnt right and I was told its probably just cause its cold outside. So against better judgement I started driving home and when I got to the highway I couldnt go above 40 mph. I took it back to them immediately to fix whatever they had done. I get the car back drive home and park it in the garage. This car is not my daily driver and I was looking to sell it so I had not driven it at all until someone came to test drive it. When I pull the car out of the garage the check engine light is on again and I take it to get the code read on it and its the same exact code that I had the first time I dropped it off at Van Zeelands. After spending $1100 on doing absolutely nothing to my car I gave them a call to try and see if there was something they could do to help solve my problem since they clearly hadnt done anything. All I got were mumbles over the phone and said ***** it im taking it to someone else. Come to find out what the real issue is now I can see that van zeelands Diagnosis is so surface level that they just find the first thing to do that will cost decent money. I am deeply disappointed with my service there and now will have to spend an extra $2000 to fix my car and also wasted $1100 and time dealing with Van Zeelands

I was charged $300.00 to bleed the back brakes. Then they asked me if I wanted them to do the front brake pads for $545.00.

The folks there are very pleasant. But I think I was overcharged, or maybe the world has evolved into a clip joint. The work they did was completed and they did a good job. It's just that I could have done that with a turn of a s**** and save $325.00.
