    I hired ******* to reorganize my Quickbooks account for my business. The contract was drawn up on 2/20/24, I needed to get funding by ************************** and didn't signed the contract until 5/7/24. I got a respond by her stating she had received the payment send by ************************** on 5/8/24. From what I can remember, she mention it was going to take a month or so to organize my book so I gave her the time. I emailed her on 6/11/24 for an update and got no respond. I emailed again on 6/19/24 and 7/2/24 along with phone calls on 6/21/24 and 6/25/24. The receptionist said she will give her my message and I haven't heard back from her. At this point, I haven't heard from her and I no longer trust her to have her continued the services we agreed upon. I would like the money back since it looks like she hasn't done any work from the look of my end of the business.

    Bos Optimal collected $900 in retainers for work that was agreed by both parties NOT to begin.Charges for services were paid and I was informed by email sent 1/18/2023 the retianers would be returned.I have had no response to 3 inquiries as to how and when the retainers would be returned.

    I am not sure why **************** decided to file this complaint considering BOS' Optimal Services has already refunded the retainers identified.  These retainers were originally provided in February 2022 and were held for almost a year due to ******************** being unsure of how to proceed with his business.  With that said, his refund check was cut on 02/28/2023 as check #**** when it was realized that it did not get processed during the end of January billing cycle which is our our normal practice.  ************* is fully aware, January thru ***** is the busiest time for anyone in the accounting services and his refund was provided the next billing cycle upon realization that it hadn't been done at the end of January.  This was explained to ****************, in subsequent correspondence which he responded to that he would have been fine waiting waiting 60 days.  So based on that alone, the retainer was provided prior to an acceptable deadline date identified by ****************.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    As of Saturday 3/4 I have not recieved any check.  I see it was "cut" but can't get an answer how it was to be delivered.

    From my perspective this is consistent with my experience and I have no trust that a check was sent. ******** to ****** mail is usually delivered next day.

    It has been 2 weeks since I was told my retainer of $900 was mailed.  I live in the next town over. I have left phone messages but no reply.

    Optimal has offered for me to pick up a check at their office.  I was planning to visit tomorrow

    I have put a stop payment on the original check and **************** has picked up a replacement check.
