    ******* did not provide supporting veterinary documentation that the kitten was diagnosed with cross-eyes and what, if any, health conditions may occur in the future as a result, as is stated in my contract. I have consulted experienced breeders, and after looking at all the photos, including the ones ******* provided, they stated the kitten is not cross-eyed but may have a slight lazy eye and will grow out of it. After looking back at all the photos I've taken of the kitten, only one shows the possibility of a lazy eye, and the placement of her eye in the photo is explainable because the camera was six inches from her face. Per my attorney, I cannot provide a partial refund for a physical flaw on a pet quality kitten due to the way my contract is written. "Pet quality" means the kitten may have physical flaws that do not conform with the **** or CFA breed standard. This includes an imperfect profile, kink in the tail, cross-eyes or lazy eye, and other benign flaws, making them unsuitable for showing or breeding. ******* was informed of all known physical flaws prior to the purchase. I have offered to give ******* a full refund in exchange for the kitten being returned to me, and she refused. As a show of good faith, I will provide her with a partial refund of $100 if she signs a new contract. This contract must be notarized and in my possession before I will issue the refund.

    Hello. An unhappy kitten buyer just informed me she filed a report with the BBB (reference number ********) against me. I am a small hobby breeder, not a business. She requested a partial refund ($375) from me after the vet told her she was a little cross-eyed. I explained the kitten was sold as pet quality, which means they have cosmetic flaws, such as cross-eyes. I cannot give her a partial refund for legal reasons due to the contract she signed. I knew she was very unhappy with the kitten after she posted multiple complaints on ********* so I told her I would take the kitten back and give her a full refund. She declined, said she loves the kitten, and she doesn't want to return her. She is very angry because I will not give her a refund. We are at an impasse, and now that she is slandering me all over ******** as well as reporting me to every agency she can think of (including the ***** I am seeking legal action against her. I would like to find out how to address this BBB complaint she filed.
