    4 weeks after buying a new 2022 Cruise Lite, the screen door fell apart. We had to remove the metal frame from one side of the main door in order to get it to close when the unit got hot and expanded in the sun. The small awning cover over the slide out only had two of the four screws installed in the plates, so after a few uses the awning began catching and making a horrible popping sound. We placed a shim under the plate until we could return for repairs, and that temporarily fixed the problem. The edge of our main awning ripped, and we called and the service department that said we should just leave it until we can in on our service appointment day. They had the unit for an entire day and all they fixed was replacing a cover on a rear light, and removing the smaller awning while leaving in place the brackets with the shim!! We returned at the end of the work day to find the tech attempting to put the broken screen door back on the unit, and asking if we still had the screws because they didnt have any screws that small! So we still no not have a screen door. The main door does not fit tight, and we are without a cover over the slide out, and a taped edge on our main awning with a request to Forest River for an awning replacement if and when that ever happens!! They should not be allowed to say the have a service department when they are totally inept at fixing anything.
