      I have had issues with the festival foods deli at the ********* location. They precut a lot of the meat and cheese and leave it out for customers to pick up: no problem there most delis do this including other locations.However I prefer to get my order fresh cut, as I have found the meat will usually be older cut days prior sometimes and put out. It is so bad even the cheeses are affected and regularly are older than what the sticker says, and will often take on the flavor of the cooler they are sitting in or tray in the back. Also each time I have visited the slicing machines out front in the center of the deli bar are ALWAYS DIRTY. Im not an expert on health code but when I worked in a restaurant for years and a deli after, we had to clean our machines after each use not leave cheese and meat residue sitting for hours. This is the ONLY location, even from competitors; that has outright rejected to fresh cut an order. They have done this numerous times telling my wife or myself to grab from the pre sliced, we have brought this up to the management of this place and there has been no change, they ****** pre cut what they have, have outright refused to cut fresh to order, cut cheese super thick and then tell me that 5 mm cut is 2mm and have claimed they are out of what you order meanwhile dead staring at you. Absolutely abhorrent customer service and quality control. Id be half tempted to never shop at a Festival Foods again if everyone else there wasnt awesome, they make up enough for this horrible deli behavior and sorry but quite honestly LAZINESS shown by the deli of what is my ideal grocery store. I know nothing can be perfect by gosh it would sure be nice if they at least fulfilled orders for their customers without attitude.

Store:2738 Moana checker Transaction:218186 Invit:00110704 Time of day 9:15am Total: $78.45 The problem is:There was no bagger Checker could barely lift anything and dident offer to bag anything There were no baggers around at all. I have one arm had to bag my own groceries. I feel if people have to bag their own groceries they should get a discount. Or get paid for it Im a senior and shouldnt have to do this.

      I went to the store today and bought some hamburger when I got home when I started breaking the hamburger up to cook it It was brown on the inside on the outside it was pink like it looked like it was fresh out so I put fresh hamburger on the outside to make it look appealing to sell but on the inside it's no good and upon looking at the expiration date it says use were freeze by 1/7/24 I don't go to the grocery store thinking I need to look at dates of meat that is being sold especially when it's nice bright and pink This is misleading and had I not decided to use this tonight put a led to me getting sick sometimes I don't cook hamburger for a couple days after getting it and I don't put in the freezer if I'm going to use it within a few days This is a horrible practice to do this

      Good morning ***. Thank you for reaching out. This is a common concern and there is some science behind it. The ********** of *********** explains that any ground beef can naturally be brown on the inside. The pigment found in all red meat, known as oxymogloin, combines with the oxygen in the air to produce the external red color associated with fresh beef. This process is called bloom or blooming. The interior of the meat does not have the red color due to the lack of oxygen necessary for this reaction to occur. Rest assured that the brownish colored beef in the middle of your ground meat is just as juicy and flavorful as its bright red exterior.

      We can assure you that we do not regrind or repack any of our product.  In fact each of our stores grind ground beef 2 or more times per day to keep our product fresh. We would be happy to answer any further questions that you may have by reaching out to us at ****************************************

      I purchased some banana nut Maxx near the mixed nuts area at festival foods this evening earlier in the evening went to eat it and it did not taste very good. Checked the expiration date. The expiration date was 06/10/2023. I almost got sick in parking lot. I am homeless here in this county, my hometown/state of *********, **. Been going on 5 yrs. This is not by any choice of my own! I am not feel good at all from eating only about tbsp of mixture. I took it back in store, explained why I used/gave receipt to smoke shop. The young ladies were nice in that they did not make it a big deal when I asked for refund even though I had used Food card/EBT to cover for it earlier.

      Placed an order for three cakes. Here Im thinking as they advertised you can build the perfect cake for your celebration from anywhere!The three cakes was not perfect! Festival had given me three old cakes that was super stale and dried hard. I was so sure the cakes were going to be decent but turns out they had given me old cakes instead. I hope that festival can train the ***** to bake enough cakes and not give out old cakes to custom orders or to anyone at all. The cakes after one bite had to be toss! It was so embarrassing during the birthday party! Had three very disappointing birthday kids. Why would festival sell me dried out stale no good cakes? Im not sure , as they advertised . It was not perfect at all !

      I feel that Festival Foods is price gouging. I was there today and they were selling 24 packs of soda for 19 DOLLARS!! How is that even legal?

      We have received the complaint and it is not completely accurate.  Suggested retail of this product was indeed $18.99 but we are not selling any of these products at that retail.  While the cost of the product has sharply risen, Festival Foods has reduced its margin significantly to provide the lowest price possible and actually have it selling for $15.99.

      I travel for my employment, I am in *******, ** for an 8 week contract 12/5/22-1/27/23, after work on Monday December 12, 2022, I needed to pick up a few groceries, I headed to the nearest food store which was Festival Foods in *******,**, arriving at the store I was surprised to discover the only parking available was in an ally which led to a small parking ramp, I did not see anything posted regarding how small the ramp and parking were, I entered the ramp driving a 2023 ****** **** crew cab, I was forced to go to the second level as there was no parking in the first level, I had to park in two spaces with this pick up as the parking was so small, as I attempted to leave this parking ramp approximately 630 pm, my pick up could not make the curve to exit the small ramp causing the rear end of the vehicle to be scraped on a cement pillar, damage to the vehicle has been estimated at $1,585.00. I believe this food store needs to have a warning sign for larger vehicles not to enter. I would not have entered the ramp if I had known it was fir small cars only.

      Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.  Festival Foods does indeed operate a grocery store in downtown ******* with an adjacent parking ramp.  However, this parking ramp is not owned by Festival Foods.  It is owned and maintained by the residential developer.  We have made the developer aware of the suggestion for the signage mentioned in the complaint.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      I went to this groceries store totally unaware of the parking situation, I did not see any thing posted warning customers who drove anything larger than a compact car not to enter or enter at your own risk, this is totally not acceptable, the second ramp where I was forced to park was labeled Festival Foods, I believe you have a responsibility to provide for the costumers who park here to patronize your store! The damages from the tight parking conditions on a 2023 GMC sSierra pick up are $1,585, I believe you are responsible due to the lack of information provided to your customers who park in this Festival foods parking ramp. Thank you for your responsible attentiveness to this situation!
