    Sold me a car with via BaT auction website with a major oil leak (engine out job) - as a "fix" offered me an extended warranty for the vehicle and took another $1000 from me - didn't provide any instructions on how to use it - after finding our the warranty is BS and asking the dealer to cancel and get me my $1000 back, they promissed to do so... however, it's been over a month now and I am still "patiently" waiting...

    Here we are in December and I have been getting nothing but the run around since early August. The touchscreen didn't function, so they offered to replace it and have an additional key made; I was initially very happy with their customer service. A touchscreen issue was reported to Spencer Aug 11. Fast forward to Sep 1, I reached out for an update, no response. Sep 9, another request for an update, the wrong part was ordered. Sep 22, another request for an update. Oct 5, reached out to schedule pickup, no response. Oct 7, I sent a message stating I never heard from anyone, no response. Oct 20, he scheduled a pickup for the next week. Oct 26, I asked when they planned on coming to pick-up, no response. Oct 28, I asked if I could just take it to a dealer to finally get this screen fixed. He responded and said next week Thursday. Nov 3, the scheduled pickup day, I parked in the driveway, left the key in the ignition while I went inside, came out 5 min later and my truck was gone. No call, no knock, no doorbell, just opened the door and took off. They brought my truck back later that evening and the screen was still not functioning properly. I sent two videos showing the issue persisted and never got a response. Their tech, Mason, called me a day later to inform me they needed to order another new part. I noticed my air vent freshener was missing a part, so I sent a message. No response. Nov 17, two weeks with no update, no screen, no key, no air freshener update. Mason called and left a voicemail saying the wrong part was ordered again. Dec 2, another status request update. I was told Mason left a voicemail weeks ago and the part was in, but there were no missed calls and no voice messages. Dec 9, Still no screen, still no spare key, still no air freshener update. Nobody has reached out to setup an appointment to install. Nonexistent customer follow-up and just overall an awful experience. Customers shouldn’t have to follow-up on status updates for services promised.

    ******, I am sorry you are experiencing difficulties. It is always my intention to provide great customer service. With that said, let me state the facts. You did buy a truck as-is and there is nothing promised on the we-owe statement. You did not experience anything with the touch screen on your extended test drive. A few days after purchase you stated it was not working as intended. We worked with you to schedule to fix it free of charge. Your schedule did not line up with ours but we got to it on the 3rd of November and returned the truck to you the same day. It was working as it was intended to when we had it. On the 4th you expressed it was not working again and I responded to you promptly to which I have text verification of. We touched base multiple times while we were getting the parts. On December 14th the correct part was in and you were contacted and we never heard about setting up an appointment after that voicemail. Please reach out to us anytime to set up an appointment! We going above and beyond here and we hope that you will recognize this!

    This was my first time buying a car long distance, so I was nervous at first. However, in over 25 years of buying cars, this was the most positive, professional car buying experience I have ever had. Spencer was knowledgeable, extremely responsive, quickly provided photos of everything I requested, and was a pleasure to work with. The car came, and was exactly what I expected with no surprises. Even more impressive than his communication during the sale, was his follow up after I received the car. If I could give this business 6 stars I would! I hope to give others peace of mind in doing long distance transactions with this company, as I will be buying cars from him in the future for sure! Thanks for everything Spencer!! We love our "new" mini cooper!!!
