I followed DIY Home Center's policy for a refund for a product I had purchased and returned within the 90 window of the date of the original purchase. Per their policy I used my purchase order number (SO0201007) to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which I was granted it is RMA *****. I then followed the steps outlined on their webpage at:*************************************************** I sent the goods via **** Tracking number 1Z0200210355982237 it was received by the company on 10/20/2023. Per their own company policy and website it says please allow 5 to 10 days to process the return and have the credit show on your credit card. It is 10/31/2023 which is 11 days so over the **** days. Even if they mean business days that would be this Friday. 11/3/2023. However, I am getting the run around for the company and being told no one was in last week 10/23/2023 to 10/27/2023 to process the return. I allowed this as I understand things happen. However, now I am again being told no one is in this week (10/30/2023 to 11/3/2023) to process the return. When I ask to speak to a manager or supervisor no one is available. They goods were sent to the company who has now had them 11 days. They took my money by charging my credit card before I even received product. But now when it's time to refund the money and they have the product back they are not processing my return. This is unacceptable, they take money the second you order something but can't refund it even after the goods have been returned to them for 11 days now? They aren't even following their own company policy that is in black and white on their own website regarding returns.

      Business response

      12/08/2023

Customer sent the request for the Return Materials Authorization and DIYhome center sent the information to the customer for the return the next day.

Timing to receive product, and issue the credit, was longer than usual due to short staffing.

      Customer was refunded on 10/31/23.
