    4-10-2024 Overcharged for a problem that i was a captive audience for (battery warranty that Triple AAA required me to go to this facility -- there were no others in the area) because of a battery warranty and the place created a safety problem for my vehicle not resolved or fixed (horn did not work when i picked up the car). I was forced to go to ****'s Garage by Triple AAA for a battery warranty because my repair facility, a NAPA repair shop was not an "APPROVED" facility by Triple AAA. **** at ****'s Garage charged me $76.78 to install a battery that was under warranty. I could not replace the battery myself or have some other facility replace the battery because that would void the warranty per Triple AAA. **** charged me $76.78 to do this when the normal cost is $43-$54 at a dealership, independent garages are normally less, however I didnt know if the car would start again, and Triple AAA would not give me or someone else a battery to replace under the warranty and there were no other shops in the areas approved by Triple AAA. Upon picking up the car after paying the bill and having my battery replace and taking the car home, my horn did not work (a safety issue) . Upon going back to ****'s Garage and talking with ****, he blamed me, my car and the other repair facility when the horn worked when i dropped the car off because while the battery was defective, it still had enough charge to make the horn beep. Now while the car starts, I was overcharged because i had no choice and had to pay the bill to get my car and i have another problem, a safety problem , **** doesnt work caused by a mechanic at ****'s Garage. They would not fix the other problem they caused, besides having overcharged me for a captive repair by over 80%

                                                                     ****************** came into Daves Garage **** Searching for help with his AAA battery which was almost 3 years old. As busy as our schedule was. We accepted him since the last shop which he stated cleaned his battery connections to get it started so he could come to our shop.  Since two places wouldn't help him. I gave him an estimate to install his battery if it proves defective. He agreed & showed his original receipt from AAA also stated that. We proceeded to test the battery which tested good per the results that are shown on Mr. ******** icons.  In good faith & wanting to satisfy ****************** we still ordered & installed a new AAA battery, thus ending his aggravation. How ever he very shortly returned, stating his horn didn't work. I asked him to wait & I would have someone recheck our battery cable connections, since I was helping another customer at the time. Several minutes later the tech came to me saying the gentleman must have left because he couldn't be found. We never got a chance to see if we may have possibly had an effect on the horn. The horn & wiring are not near the battery. I was taken back by ****************** not being happy we stepped forward to help him out when he needed it. Also, there are multiple AAA auto businesses in the area to choose from. He was not forced to Daves garage ****in any way. i will gladly refund half the price he paid, he can stop by any time and ill help him,   thank you for your time, *********;
