    Business Response

Good morning, I am well aware of the complaint that was sent out to my business. In regard to that complaint, I did the concrete work on November 17th, 2023 for this customer. Around February, I received complaints from the customer about some cracks. I addressed this issue with telling them that I would be able to fix it in April or May since I wouldn't be able to do it at the time in February since it was cold and to avoid any cracking again. Customer didn't want to wait and wanted his money back. Customer called many times and specified dates in which he needed the money back. I also called the concrete company, and they told me that there was a special silicone designated to fix cracks. I explained to the customer about how we would fix the cracks, but customer didn't want it. I then proceeded to tell the customer that I wouldn't be able to fix it until April or May since the weather is better for any concrete work. Although I offered the customer a plan, they continued to deny and continuously call my phone for his money back and specified the days in which he wanted it by. One time I offered $1500, and he denied them. I offered my services to fix this, and he refused and denied them. I did not threaten him, I only told him if he wasn't going to accept my services then to not blow up my phone. Which is when he decided to report and file a complaint about my business. Again, I was willing to work with this customer, but customer didn't want any other options but his money back, even though I was willing to remove the concrete, if necessary, but he didn't want to. I hope to resolve this problem because I really don't want any problems with anyone or for it to affect my business. Thank you for your time, hope to find a solution.

    Business Response

Good afternoon, I have reviewed the suggested solution, but in my preference, I would rather do one or the other. I had originally brought down the price of the work to begin with. So, to be fair, I don't think it benefits me to return the $1,000 AND redo the work. I would appreciate it and would prefer for customer to choose whether they would prefer their money back or the job redone, not both. Again, I would like what benefits both sides and I would appreciate it. **** to hear a response soon and be able to resolve this. Thanks.

[Please type your response here.]As previously stated, ref. item #3 of my previous response, the $1000 is for the section that requires no rework. So are you willing to sign and commit to an agreement/contract exactly as I have outlined dated April 24, 2024, and make payment prior to starting rework?
