    In 2021 the engine on my 2016 *** ******* experienced a Bearing Clearance Failure that catastrophically killed my motor and required a full engine replacement. This issue is known and has had widespread news coverage. After an engine replacement, I was told that if the same issue were to arise, that it would be 100% covered by *** as this IS known. In January of 2024, my car experienced the exact same problem. This "new" engine has less than 25K miles on it. I have performed oil changes myself. *** is now denying any work or coverage due to "lack of following the service recommendations and having oil changes". If I had known that a "new" engine would experience the same problem, I would have gladly paid more money to have the oil changes performed by a service center instead of doing them myself. This process has already been dragged out over several months, and I want a resolution. Another part of the issue is I was supposed to have been given paperwork that included warranty information when I purchased this vehicle. The "paperwork" was given to me on a thumb drive that I was never able to access. That information about oil changes or "service" was never useful to me.

    I called Palmen Motors to enquire about a used Jeep Cherokee that I spotted online in early Oct 2023. The salesman I emailed corresponded with numerous times seemed professional and friendly so I took a ride from ******* to Kenosha to check out the used vehicle. I arrive in mid-afternoon on a Wednesday and there was no customers, only staff. I met with the salesman, nice but very hyper. Suddenly the finance guy, conman, creeps up and introduces himself and doesn't appear to have brainwaves nor authenticity and leaves. I wait two hours, haven't seen the car, nor discussed price. While I wait the salesman hyperactive Jeff removes my plates on my car, without telling me until after he's done it. Still no sign of vehicle - I'd like to see and drive. Jeff points and said the vehicle is sitting on a display pad out front. Then says in a very low voice, "I'm not allowed to be in conversation about price or the sale, only Chris. I can't be in the room when you meet with Chris." I will take you in and shut the door. With this....I'm in a mental tailspin, completely confused. I no longer have my keys, and Jeff again vanishes. He comes back and takes me to Chris' office and leaves. Chris says nothing, literally NOTHING, pulls a pile of papers in front of him and hands me a pen. "It's a great the deal then puts his finger where I'm to sign. I'm confused and manipulated I sign and with each signature he makes remarks - what he "will give me" in the purchase. Then before it's over he says," I'll review the paperwork with you and give you copies tonight." He then says "I gave you bumper to bumper coverage". End of story, $33,000 for a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited w/46K, and 22K in finance charges for 78 months at 17.75%. I never received anything trade in value, period. This purchased car has brake and engine shifting problems. DO NOT VISIT THIS DEALERSHIP. EVER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I now have to pay off the car to avoid the interest rate, then sell the vehicle. DO TO CRIMINALS.

Even with a trade-in worth next to nothing but worth everything to me. I surely got my moneys worth with nearly 20 yrs and ***** miles of smooth sailing with my 06 Jeep Grand Cherokee. So I was very very pleased with the considerations provided to me to reach a workable and very fair honest transaction at Palmen. Im sincerely thankful I spotted the vehicle online. These two men made it worth the hike from ******* to Kenosha!! Just keep up the extraordinary service."Were disappointed to hear you express a very different narrative than that. I have personally spoken to **** and ***** about this situation. They both stated that many attempts trying to call you have been unsuccessful in a return call/response from you. We were trying to get in touch so we could answer any and all questions that you had. Since you chose to address this publicly, we have no choice but to defend ourselves and tell our side of this situation. Regarding your documents, they were given to you, both electronically (via a USB password-protected flash drive) and paper copies, but you had forgotten them on ****'s desk when you left to get into your new car. **** contacted you to make you aware of this and immediately we overnight-mailed everything to you. As far as the interest rate, when you came in you were preapproved through a bank that we have an established relationship with. ***** actually went above and beyond by contacting them and working on getting you a better rate than the originally approved rateby multiple percentage points! At no time during your visit did you ever mention any other banks, other than the original bank pre-approval. It's unfortunate that you haven't returned our inquiries and that you instead chose to unnecessarily and falsely accuse our company and employees of any wrongdoing. We take great pride in our employees and how all of our guests are treated. For some time, we have been trying to contact you via phone to resolve these concerns, yet you have not answered or returned our calls.
