      A representative for ******** came to my residence, stating that he was able to give me a discount on my supplemental health coverage. I signed paperwork to change my policy to the discounted policy. After careful consideration, I decided to cancel the new policy two days later, with this same representative. He had left his card, with no paperwork. He assured me that it was canceled with nothing more to do. This took place in early June 2024. On July 1, 2024 my checking account was charged $****** by the company the representative works for. Once again, after reaching out to this same representative, he assured me that the situation would be handled and had me call the original policy holder, who stated a check would be in the mail for refund. This never happened. The representative was called again and gave me the complete run around. A check was never received from this company. I have opened a new checking account and put a stop payment on this company, however, on August 1, 2024, they tried to withdraw the same charge of ******. I feel that this representative and company took advantage of me and negligently took money after promising cancelation of said policy. I would like my money returned and investigation of this company, so it does not happen to anyone else. Thank you for your time,***********************************

      Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation has confirmed that this outreach was done by a third party.  We have attempted to contact the complainant via phone to resolve the complaint/better understand the issue and have not received a response to-date.  He may call **************, the number on his ID card, to further discuss to ensure WPS has proceeded addressing this in accordance with his wishes.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      I have reached out to Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation, as asked of me in previous response. This company assured me that they would refund my money that was withdrawn for the canceled insurance policy. This still has not happened. He also stated that they never send representatives out to home addresses, but ironically is handling the case for the representative *************************, ************, who made the house visit and had me sign papers for an insurance that he never left me paperwork for nor canceled when asked and discussed about several different times. The gentlemans name that was handling the case for *********************** at the above company is ***** and his direct number is ************. I wish to get my money returned and for this company to be investigated.

      ************************* is not an employee or authorized agent of WPS.  He was not authorized to sell a policy on WPS' behalf and has no affiliation with WPS.

      I have confirmed that a full refund check for $271.66 was processed on 8/30/24.  You should be receiving that shortly, though there may be a minor delay in receipt given the Labor Day holiday.

      I purchased WPS insurance and have been paying their high premiums based because they did have a Silver and Fit program and also I had no deductibles. This year I was charged a deductible as they (WPS) did not cover the entire bill, even though I was told when I bought this insurance this would not occur. And they recently eliminated the Silver and Fit program which was also offered and a reason I bought their insurance. I think they should continue to provide this service as they stated when I bought the policy in 2018. False advertising and not living up their standards as being one of the best. They are not upholding what they offered when purchased.

      I HAVE ASKED WPS HEALTH SOLUTIONS CORPORATION NUMEROUS TIMES TO PUT MY ADDRESS ON THEIR DO NOT MAIL LIST.... *************************************************************************. 53403-9724 ALSO HAVE TOLD THEM NUMEROUS TIMES THAT ****************************** THE PERSON ADDRESSED ON THIS JUNK MAIL..DIED IN ********* ***. IN 2014 AND STOP SENDING JUNK MAIL TO MY ADDRESS ...ADDRESSED TO ******************************.... THIS IS A VIOLATION OF PRIVACY PROCEDURES AND FRAUD... FRAUD.... FRAUD.. THEY KEEP SENDING JUNK MAIL ADDRESSED TO A DECEASED PERSON...I HAVE LIVED AT MY ADDRESS SINCE 2015!!! PLEASE HAVE THEM STOP THEY REFUSE TO HEAR MY REQUEST...
