    Elevate Medical Solutions billed us on behalf of ****** ******** ********** ***, who was brought into our son's surgery without our knowledge or consent. We selected our surgeon's office because they were in-network for us, ****** was not in-network. Years after the date of service we received an arbitrary bill that didn't match our insurance EOB amounts. Elevate refused to back up their numbers when I asked how they got to a higher amount than our insurance did.Elevate Medical Solutions on behalf of ****** practices balanced billing, which was confirmed by the surgeon's billing office AND the ******************* of ********** Because of the date of service and the location of our insurance policy, Elevate told me that it wasn't balanced billing. Balanced billing is illegal per the federal government as of 1/1/2022, which is the same date as the state our insurance is written out of. Just because it isn't illegal...now, doesn't mean it isn't dishonest and morally wrong. They took advantage of the situation when we had no way to "return" the service or have legal recourse for protection. I will never do business with Elevate Medical or ****** Surgical Assisting and will file formal complaints with our state, the state Elevate Medical is located in and the federal government to help make the public aware of their practices.
