1 starMy doctor ordered a Cologuard test in January. Exact sciences sent me a text in February saying it was not covered yet by insurance but they would ship it when it was. Later in February exact sciences sent a text saying good news from my insurance my kit is on the way to me now. I completed the test thinking that message meant they got authorization because they shipped it. After my results I got a bill for the entire test for $681. I called my doctor, my insurance, and exact sciences. No answers. Weeks later I perused it and found out from my insurance that exact sciences never got an auth and they will work on documentation for a retro authorization. Yet exact sciences pressured me to make payments after billing me, promising they would keep the account from collections. What a racket. I could wait another few months or longer to do the test. I was in no hurry. Im disappointed in the dishonesty. It is wonderful to have the test and the results but the shipping, confirmation of authorization and billing practices appear unethical.Review fromMarijana C.

Bait and switch FRAUD. Cologuard sent me a letter stating .."We want to send you a $25 rewards card for collecting your sample and returning your kit. To take part in this one-time offer, our lab must receive your completed kit by January 5th, 2025." They got my sample timely,(got my test result before the given deadline) The letter from Exact Sciences Laboratory was dated December 8, 2024. Order # ********* It is now March 12th. I have not received the $25 rewards card they promissed. I contacted company twice, was told to call 833 number which I also called 3 times.... wasted my time and was just given runaround every time and lied to. Please have card mailed to my home address that you have on record. Sincerely, ***** ****Exact Sciences Corporation

It is false advertising. Exact Sciences need to do better and stand by what was promissed in their letter. It is a matter of principal and doing honest business , not money.$25 is a small amount to tar your business reputation. Whoever is processing your reward gift cards is not doing their job. Thank you! Sincerely, M. C.Review fromTy R

Received a text early in the morning indicating my results were ready. Tried viewing results all day and no results and website threw error messages all day (going on 9 hours now). For medical concerns and doing tests, it is unacceptable to say something is ready and the patient cannot access the results. Can you even imagine how that feeds into a patients anxiety about medical concern. Unacceptable!Exact Sciences Corporation

We will share this review with the appropriate team to ensure this feedback is recorded. The Cologuard test is available by prescription only and must be ordered for an individual by a licensed healthcare provider. Some employers and insurance companies have colorectal cancer screening initiatives to help get employees or members screened. In these cases, the employer or insurance company may work with a licensed healthcare provider to prescribe Cologuard to those eligible. Prior to receiving Cologuard, eligible employees or members receive educational materials regarding the importance of colorectal cancer screening, and instructions for completing the ******* charges or bills are submitted unless the test is completed and results are provided. The Exact Sciences ******************** can help answer questions about orders and document feedback. A kit does not need to be completed to receive assistance. The team is available 24/7 at ************. An unused kit may be disposed of or recycled.Jennifer M

Absolutely fraudulent. I called my health provider to see if they had ordered this test for me. The answer was NO. This very ploy is what the first email looks like - a LIE claiming that "your health care provider has ordered this test for". The *** guy was so used to people refusing delivery, that he told me he has several of these (rejections) each day. They are frauds.Review fromKi M

This company or should I say pharmaceutical scam company is sending these cologuard kits To all these low income people asking for samples of their DNA. Why would anybody want to send a pharmaceutical company samples of their DNA Without asking to be sent this Kit or have a need to be sent this kit. This is a gross display of a company monopolizing and using people for their own gain. There’s nothing wrong with my ******* leave me alone, sciences.Exact Sciences Corporation

Currently, the test can only be ordered for individuals with a prescription from a physician. Understanding the importance of preventive care, many healthcare providers have certain screening initiatives. Therefore, it is not uncommon for providers specialized in such screening to order a test for patients in their healthcare organization. If,however, there is no interest in using a test, then it can be recycled.
We hope this information is helpful and addresses the initial concerns. We encourage the individual to contact our ******************** at ************, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to directly address any remaining questions or concerns.

Exact Sciences Corporation sent me a third unsolicited Cologuard test kit. I told my doctor that I didnt want to do a third test and the test was not prescribed. Their justification that there wasnt enough stool is absurd and ridiculous, especially after the first test. This is a mischievous behavior, and I do not want the kit. Nor should Exact Sciences Corporation be able to send anyone kits without their consent. This should be illegal.Exact Sciences Corporation

1 starExact Sciences somehow got my husbands information and shipped their cologuard kit to the address we no longer reside. We only found out when we received a *** tracking number by email. This was not requested by us or our doctor. When we called them to complain about this unacceptable HIPAA violation, instead of helping out to stop *** package delivery, the agent told us on the phone that we are free to go ahead and get a lawyer if we wish. This aggressive campaign of sending their overly sensitive screening kits to random people to random addresses and unprofessional behavior of the agent on the phone are both unethical and illegal, and should have serious consequences for this company.
