I started receiving text messages about a loan application I did not apply for. Ive never applied for any loan with this company and would never ever get a personal loan at that. I assumed possibly wrong number or something and then thought it was just a phishing attempt. I proceeded to get more and more texts saying my loan was approved which was after I had froze my credit with all 3 credit bureaus. Ive checked my credit reports and created an account on credit karma- we have found no inquiries from Simple Fast Loans regarding this matter. I called and spoke with them and was transferred to the fraud department. They were all nice and seemed like they wanted to help but it all just felt extremely scammy so I tried to get more information- I realize they cant do that if I refuse to give them the last 4 of my social but they couldnt find a loan in my name but only my phone number . I gave them both my married and maiden last names and they couldnt find anything unless she spelled them wrong but I spelled them for her. They wouldnt confirm the last name that was on the account but just said they found the account with my phone number. They couldnt confirm anything else for me unless I gave them my last 4 of my ssn. The lady knew I was upset and told me that this loan may not even be mine because someone may have just used my name and phone number and if I only gave her my last 4 ssn she could confirm if it was my ssn or not. This flew up a red flag for me and I told her I dont know if I should- I said I mean it is just the last 4 but still felt like I shouldnt and I hung up the phone. I put my credit on fraud alert on all 3 credit bureaus and added notifications if anything hit my credit but this entire situation seems extremely suspicious

Simple fast loans sent me an email in January of 2023 informing me that I had taken out a loan with them. I told them "no I didn't". They ask for my date of birth and last 4 numbers of my social security number. I provided them with it. They told me I had taken out a $2,000 loan. Which I did not. I asked for the bank name and account number. Which they called them out. The bank nor the account number matched my bank. We don't even have a bank with that name in our town. I had a pervious loan with them but I paid it off. They Said they would investigate it and they didn't. They sent me a text today saying my account has been turned over to collections. I called them and told them again I don't have an account with them and we went back through the same thing again. Either they are trying to scam me or someone in their company has used my information. I'm starting here before I take legal action. I just want my name cleared! They have not done what they said they was going to do.

I borrowed $1000 from this company and made regular payments up until my son became ill and my financial situation changed. I then made an agreement to resolve the balance through ESolve my loan. I paid all payments as agreed except the last 2, which those two could not be debited from my debit card due to the card being closed as a result of fraud on my bank account. I contacted this company and agreed to mail the last 2 payments via money order and they refused and said they could only accept a debit card as payment. They then sold my account to a debt collector that is currently trying to collect $4,706.83 related to this loan. This is obviously a scam tactic on behalf of this company that needs resolved immediately.

The company claims I did not attempt to contact them about my two remaining payments, but I have attached the email I sent to them. I also called and spoke with a representative afterwards who told me I can only pay with a debit card and no other payment alternatives are allowed.
I received an email yesterday that stated they bought back my loan from the collection agency and will now allow my two remaining payments to be paid, but when I called they still say with a debit card only. I have no debit card in my possession.

I borrowed $1000 from them in June 2022. I wanted a 6 month payback term which should have cost me approximately $284. The loan should've been paid off this month (January 2023). I went to their website and signed to check my payoff status. They show me having to make another (6) payments of $214 per month. I did not agree to make 12 payments of $214 per month. I looked at what they have for my loan documents. They show me agreeing to overr 200% interest. It shows me repaying over $2500 for a $1000 loan in 12 months. I didn't agree to that, I had a 6 month term costing around $300. They show my signature at the beginning of the contract that does not show 12 month terms or over 200% interest charges. I would never agree to that. There also an electronic signature at the end of the contract but again, nothing showing those kind of terms. I make my payments electronically. I think they changed the terms of my contract to this outrageous agreement I supposedly signed. I would never sign a contract with those terms. This is outrageous and frankly robbery. The electronic payments make it easier to overlook if someone isn't paying attention. This kind of business dealings must be stopped. It is obvious why there isn't any signatures on the pages that show the terms of me repaying over $2500 for $1000 in 12 months. Please help.
