I am submitting this formal complaint regarding the legal representation my husband and I received from Miller & Miller Law Firm on Nov 22, 2024, which I believe involves misleading legal advice and potentially unethical practices. These actions caused financial harm and eroded our trust in the firm. My husband and I engaged Miller & Miller for legal advice and representation to navigate financial difficulties and file for bankruptcy. We were advised to file separately due to a purported time frame issue from my husband’s previous bankruptcy filing in 2017. Based on this advice, I filed separately and made substantial payments, as did my husband. Later, during a discussion with a different representative at the firm, I learned that filing jointly had been an option all along, which would have significantly reduced our financial burden. I was also misled about the documentation required for my filing. These miscommunications and inconsistencies caused considerable financial strain and left us feeling deceived.

I honestly can't say enough about how helpful Deborah************************ was for me. I called about my student loans and with one quick phone call she advised me how to take advantage of a student loan program I didn't even know existed. Insane as it is, I saw $207,000 in student loans forgiven because of the advice she gave me. The craziest part is that she didn't even charge me for the call--she determined there was nothing she could do except give me that information. And it worked! Miller and Miller law is one of the worst law firms. They only thing they care about are the green backs. I had them file a chapter 128 for my debt. This is to consolidate your debt and prevent interest accruing. They never in informed any of my debtors. I continued to accrue interest and penalties after nine months of filing. BUT, guess who got paid first? They did!! Save yourself the $2500 and negotiate with the debtors yourself. The Trustee also gets 7% of your debt. Thats another $2100 on $30K. Who's on your side when you fall into the sea? Not these sharks.....Miller & Miller Law, LLC

Miller & Miller were fantastic to work with. They helped us get out of a bad financial situation and we are now financially stable. When they say you can get to 720, it’s not a lie.
