I submitted my request 4 months ago. I was told first that I needed to send a copy of my diploma. I was then told that this was insufficient and that my university in the UK would need to verify my diploma, even though that was what I was hiring ECE for. My university sends transcripts to me, but won't send in the mail to ECE. I'm not sure how this will be resolved, but it seems like ECE is a waste of money if they aren't actually able to do anything themselves.

Greetings- ECE provides detailed information about the documents it requires to prepare an evaluation report in the initial stages of the order process. For study completed in the **************, we require an official transcript/grade report. If a transcript or grade report is not available because the credential completed is a masters or doctoral program that did not have coursework, we require an official degree confirmation issued in a sealed envelope by the awarding institution.ECE has provided instructions for how you can obtain the required documentation. One start is too much for this this racist and unscrupulous company. It was required an education accreditation to ECE. The organization having the properly legalized documentation in their hands. Did not considered reliable due, its inability to distinguish fake from real documents. Due, they follow their own criteria instead of recognized legalization by countries and bilateral agreements. In consequence, ECE offered to contact U. de ********* for verifying the document's authenticity, which I agreed assuming it was an act based on good will. However, they sabotage the process of accreditation, indicating hidden from me, to U. de ********* that they suspected fraud from me. With not more base than the fact, of being a foreigner and their inability as accreditors. U. de Barcelona, acted with transparency putting me in copy of the improper ECE's communication and verifying my degrees. Moreover, they provided me a wrong accreditation where they manipulate the credits. They do not take more responsibility than reimbursement due they force to agree a contract waiving their responsibility about their services.Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. Response

Dear **** *******************************-Document verification is a standard part of ECE's evaluation processes. In cases like yours where an applicant cannot meet our stated document requirements (to which the applicant agrees as part of the evaluation process), we request request verification from the issuing institution.ECE has issued you a revised report per your request. Our organization paid for a client's foreign-degree evaluation on 12/28/22 and we have a registered mail receipt to prove it. The client still has not received the evaluation a year later. I have tried calling (the vm says they will call you back in 24 hours but it is not accepting messages). They have a Chat on their website (it is a bot that can't answer anything relevant like how to contact a person through phone or email). No email is listed on their website. ECE deserves 0 stars just a big money grabbing black hole emoji.ECE talks a good talk but they are shady. Think the serpent in the garden getting the couple to eat the apple... Thousands of people purchased credential reports between 2014 - 2018. The reports were valid for a period of 10 years, printed right on the back of the document. That means those documents are good until 2024-2028. In 2018, ECE decided to reduce their report valid period from 10 to 5 years. Any company worth their salt would begin their new policy but honor the documents already paid for. Not ECE. All documents prior to 2018 with purchased time still valid ARE NOT honored at ECE. If the holder of the report wanted to use it they need to pay their new price hikes to have the report written again. No reimbursement for the stolen years. They stole half the report time that was fully paid and because their "accreditation" body NACES is part of ECE there is no use reporting them to themselves.They also falsely claim to be the only evaluators that government ***** (************* *********** *** *********** ********) will take reports from. This is a lie. US Government will not endorse the products of a private business. Check the ***** website under "******* * * ********** ** ********* ***********" they only talk about lowercase educational evaluators referring to the service provided by some companies. They DO NOT tell people to go to ECE website.These people are horrible greedy and have no sense of decency. They prey on people with foreign documents struggling to make their way in ******* and now ******. Please don't reward their unethical behaviors with your time or money. I wish I would have know the quality of their work back in the late 1990's!! ECE evaluated my Diploma in Early Childhood Education equivalent to U.S. High School because I earned it within 12 years of school! Without properly evaluating course-by-course my transcripts of four years from Europe! A borderline scam and extortionist company posing as evaluators. I would stay aware from this company at all costs. They have convinced many institutions that, in order to accept international credits they need to be “evaluated to American standards,” but the standards, at least in my case, are a sham. They copy and paste the transcript (or a translation of one) and devalue the credits…all on the basis of broad generalizations rooted in your country’s entire academic performance in the field you are majoring in. Their standards would be akin to a French institution only accepting a fraction of Harvard credits because there are community colleges in the US whose academic standards are less. You’d think that for a $350 evaluation of your hard earned work, they’d have the respect to put some effort into researching and evaluating the actual institution you went to. (To make matters worse, they wouldn’t even look at my institutions schedule and curriculum when I offered it up for a second review…and have since refused to answer any emails). Save your money and avoid having to duplicate work you’ve already paid for and completed and find a university that accepts your credits…or find an evaluation company that will respect them. I would personally recommend Josef ***** & Associates, Inc, who, in my experience, charge half the price and put in double the effort to get you the credits you deserve.

Im not quite sure if you read the entirety of my review, as it addresses both of your points. The evaluator did provide an initial explanation of the reviewand as you said, it was based on, in the broadest terms, loosely comparative analysis as apposed to an actual evaluation of what I had studied. However, the main issue I have is the fact that, once I received the response, I personally responded to the issues the evaluator had presented based on generalization and even offered to provide direct evidence to the counter those generalizations (as I understand that sometimes, without it, generalization is the only tool you have). But: I was ignored. I received no response. That is extremely unprofessional and indicative of a careless and lazy attitude towards your costumers hard earned credits. Its one thing to lack information, its a whole other thing to ignore information you do have (and ignore a costumers response) in favor of a less exacting, easier route.Review from Adk F

PLEASE READ EXPLOITATION I am trained in Physics, I holder of an Master of Philosohpy degree in Physics, 1. I ordered my degree to be evaluated for a Doctoral program am about to enroll2.ECE website listed all the evaluation types, and what it can be used for, and price as such3. I orded a scholar profile, since the website clearly say it can be used for further education4, They also instructed the type of documents to be submitted for evaluation: must be an official document from the institution, the University. Which I did,My document were sent directly to them ECE; they acknowledged receipt of OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS , My TRANSCRIPTS by email to me5. When the evaluation was completed they have marked the report as based on unofficial, documents ; when I enquired , they don't even have a direct phone number to call, you have reach them by chat : BINGO on their website6. I was told that it is because of the type of evaluation ( scholar profile) I ordered: NO one reached out to me to tell me, You ordered for a Scholar profile, and we will marked as based on UNOFFICIAL DOCUMENTS< even though they have receipt of OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS fro the University. So I can opt for it to change 7. So the Scholar profile was sent the additions office, Student records, marked as UNOFFIFICIAl; Upon enquiries through chatting again , I was told, it is because I ordered a scholar profile.....which the New University rescinded, did not accept 8. I was told they can convert it to OFFICIAL< if I desire, but will have to pay $125, for conversion to official standard course by course evaluation.9. I agreed to do the conversion, by the way they told me I D'ONT have to request a new TRANSCRIPT from my original University because they have it ALREADY..10. So for them to convert, they said they have the OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT already 11. NOW when I began to process for the CONVERTION, pay mail cost for personal copies I d'int need and they jacked up my mailing preference to UMGC, D'ONT THEM.

PLEASE READ!!!!! IMPORTANT!!! My name is Karine ********, I am an internationally trained dentist and scientist who has been granted a Green card as an extraordinary ability researcher in 2015, multiple international and US patents owner. I am forced to leave this review. On march 7th 2022, I have received a second diploma evaluation and the recent result showed almost one point less in comparison with the previous one. The evaluator (Mrs. **** - who is not a official ECE evaluator) has failed to give credits for following subjects: Nursing Care practice - three weeks - 0.00 US credits Prevention of Dental Diseases - two weeks - 0.00 US credits Operative dentistry - three weeks - 0.00 US credits Oral Surgery - three weeks - 0.00 US credits Prosthodontics - three weeks 0.00 US credits Pediatric Dentistry - three weeks - 0.00 US credits despite the fact that previously it was evaluated like this: Nursing Care practice - three weeks - 1.50 US credits Prevention of Dental Diseases - two weeks - 1.00 US credits Operative dentistry - three weeks - 1.50 US credits Oral Surgery - three weeks - 1.50 US credits Prosthodontics - three weeks 1.50 US credits Pediatric Dentistry - three weeks - 1.50 US credits Since March 14th 2022, I have never received any policy references to explain that blatant actions and discimintive approach to me and my GPA, except explanations such as: "education is a continuous process", "we can issue a refund". ECE actions toward me are clearly discriminative due to the origin of my dental diploma- Russian Federation. The fascistic campaign was supported and covered by Majka *******, Margaret ******, Monica ***. Unfortunately, ECE Present, Margit ********* has been continuously ignoring my emails. Don't waste your money. Sent in evidence of degree and graduate work only to get a report within hours that said "Equivalent of US Undergraduate Bachelor Degree". This clearly showed that they didn't really do any research to determine how my education actually translates to the American system, They simply look at oh 4 years in Australia is 4 years in America. If they had of looked at the documents provide they would have seen 500 level classes being completed in the US which according to official academic descriptions are graduate classes :1. Academic Courses at the 500-Level A graduate course is a course whose contents require a high level of cognitive processing, such as synthesis, conceptualizing, critical evaluation, and problem solving. A graduate course contains a significant communication, writing, and speaking requirement with the ultimate objective being to prepare the student to perform, critically evaluate, and communicate original research and scholarly activity.Multi attempts were made to try and resolve this matter, sadly all they seem to care about is getting paid and not providing an accurate report.Customer Response

The business replied saying "comparative education considers one year of full-time study at university A to be the equivalent of one year of full-time study at university B" This shows that they don't look at the rigor of the program, just time in seats. Due to this I provided them with evidence to verify 6 years of undergraduate studies and 1 year of post graduate studies. Hopefully this is enough for them to say that I have more than just eh equivalent of an undergraduate degree, and actually acknowledges my post graduate studies.Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc.
