1 starAfter testing many many mattresses at all different stores we settled on a mattress at Colders. It was plush and comfortable. The mattress we received unfortunately was not. The first night we slept on it we felt like we were sleeping on bare ground. Immediately, the next day we went back to the store to try understand how we went wrong. What we realized was that the one on the floor was very comfortable and the one received was a board. The salesman assured us that we would need a break-in period, to which we were very skeptical, but agreed. Now, 4 months later, nothing has changed and we do not sleep well. The salesman assured us that if we were still unhappy, someone would come out and review our mattress. I called customer service and they informed me that that was not true and because the tag matches the purchased item we would have to live with it. I feel like there was a flaw in the manufacturing process, but since mattresses are not returnable we are eating $4,000.Review fromArdelle T

1 starI returned a stackable washer dryer unit , cause it didn't work and they only gave me 70% of my money back. They said there is a30% restocking fee. How do you restock a defective washer? I was first told to pick out a different unit , they had none at the time, so I purchased it else where. So I got penalized 30 % for a defective machine, doesn't sound right, unless they are reselling it, and that makes no sense.Review fromCarol M

Bought a Restonic mattress from them in 2021. Salesperson said it had at least a 10 year warranty on it. It is sagging on both sides. Very uncomfortable to get comfortable for sleeping. Contacted customer solutions and was told I would have to pay $35.00 for them to send someone to take pictures. (This is after I submitted pictures myself!) They ask for ridiculous pictures at every angle ,even holding measuring tape on different angles! After technician came out and measured and took pictures, received letter from Restonic saying it didn't meet requirements. Which I knew would happen! So it really comes down to Colders selling very poor quality merchandise at a high cost. Would avoid this company!!!Colder’s Furniture, Appliances, and Mattresses

We apologize for your frustration. Restonic's warranty states any mattress with an impression less than 1 1/2 " is considered normal break in. If the mattress impression continues to deepen and reaches over 1 1/2" , we definitely can resubmit the claim. This is a normal requirement for most reputable mattress manufacturers.Review fromBeth B

1 starPurchased an all in one washer dryer combo for my brother in March. Had it delivered to his condo in April. Delivered it without the owner's manual. We asked to have one sent to us. We got it and it was for a different model. Went to the store to ask questions about it, ex. where is the lint dispenser that you clean after each load and if we could get the manual. They couldn't tell us. How can you sell something without knowing about the features? They told us to call the manufacturer for feature information. Waited, contacted Colder's again today to see if we could get the proper manual. I talked to a manager and she said there is no filter. I clean my filter after each load I dry. Meanwhile my brother has been hauling his laundry to his Mom's to do. I told them today, I am done. Pick up the machine it's been used twice. Their response, sorry we would not be able to return the washer/dryer. Unacceptable!!!! 1 star is just for selling it to me and delivering to me.Review fromBrian S

great service but mislead by salesperson or delivery guys. Purchased upgraded delivery option for $200 and was told by sales associate that delivery guys would move my old couch to another room or outside. When tgey arrived they said they would not touch the old couch so I was forced to move the old couch out of the way all by myself, the $200 delivery upcharge is not worth it! I feel it was a scam. Sorry about the misunderstanding with the delivery fees. We offer curbside for $49.99 and the upgrade $199.99 delivery fee is to place item in the home and set up. This covers delivery of new merchandise only. If we need to move existing furniture to another location, there is an additional fee. 1 starWe just bought a washer and had it delivered and set up, supposedly. In the end the set up was not completed as the install crew did not have the proper clamps to connect the drain tube. After calling the delivery manager I was told they did not do that as part of the installation or attach the water hoses as the length was beyond the factory hose length even though we purchased longer hoses to accommodate that. There is nowhere that explains the set up rules as they laid out after the fact. So after arguing and reaching an impasse we installed it ourselves. During the install process we decided to move the washer to accommodate the factory hoses. However, the install people took the hoses. We called to have them return the hoses to us. They refused and are making us drive out to pick them up taking no responsibility for their error. They are the factory hoses that come with the washer and should have been left on location. Now at our expense we have to pick them up. Customer service at its finest, NOT. We have purchased allot of items over the years from Colders but in the future will find another source.Review fromLaura S

1 starReceived my furniture about a year ago. Every piece has some sort of damage with the paint. They did send a man to repair everything, he did a great job. The footboard that was delivered was so badly made he was unable to repair it. 13 months later and I’m still waiting for a new footboard. And after a year of use the dresser has bubbling paint and chips on the top part. Customer service says there is nothing they can do since it has been over a year. I would think after spending a few grand on brand new furniture it should last over a year. Very disappointed in the quality of the products and the customer service this company provides. 1 starBuyer beware - **************** (new leaf) does not honor their warranties. Bought a refrigerator and it hasn't worked in 4 months. Under warranty, lost paperwork, sending out 2 technicians in 1 day and then charging us for the service call; says it is an ** problem - and ** says it is an extended warranty problem. No call back from a manager; will say they are reviewing our case for replacement and then when we call back weeks later to find out what is going on, they have no record of saying that. They have no record of the numerous service calls we have received. When we call the service people to ask them to submit their paperwork, they say they have. If you purchase an appliance from them, I would not get the warranty. Save yourself alot of stress, money and frustration and go with another company all together. Do your research. Don't be like me who has to use a mini fridge on their table because I have a moldy non-working fridge under warranty in my kitchen. I bought a fireplace/tv stand in December 2021. They delivered it without the remote control. The model I purchased is not built with nice buttons and those buttons do not use the fireplace's full functionality. At the time, they told me it was a supply chain issue. I waited and was patient. When the control finally arrived, they handed me a remote in a plastic bag. I went home and tired it; it did don't work. I called them and so a technician came out. Now he was amazing and confirmed I was sent the wrong version. I have called twice and am told they are waiting. As you can see, I've been dealing with this for shy of two years. I will never go back to Colders again. The table and chairs I bought were not sturdy at all. The chairs collapsed and the table was so wobbly I thought it would collapse too. Went back to Colders this past Saturday. Outrageous prices. They dont sell table and chairs as a set! $6500 for table and $450 PER CHAIR! Outrageous!! All the tables there were wobbly. SO we went to Bobs Discount Furniture. Bought a STURDIER table and chair. It was $1200 for the table, 4 chairs, and a bench. The quality is superb and way better than Colders. I am sorry you experienced a concern with your table and chairs. I hope you contacted our Customer ******************** to verify if there was still a manufacture warranty. We do have several collections that are priced as a set. However, the table you mentioned is a solid wood table, customer selection on sale for $2600.00 Chairs are priced individually as this is a custom line with numerous color/finish and leg options. We do have a large selection of table and chairs that are group priced at very competitive price points. I am sorry we did not have the opportunity to work with you closer.
