      My Parents ***** and ******** ****** were residents of **************** from August 7th, 2023, until Sept 27th, 2024. After moving my parents out of ****************, we have been waiting for the return of the escrow check. They tried to charge us $1,625.00 to paint 1 bedroom. I obtained quotes and a professional painter would only charge $375.00 plus $50.00 for paint. My father did cause damage to a door at replacement cost of $174.75 Total is $ ****** Security Deposit was $1,822.00 Balance is $1,222.25 to be returned to ***** and ******** ****** for the security Deposit ( i originally said I would settle for $1,000.00 but after waiting this long I want the full amount)I was told they sent a check November 1st that was never received, and I was again told that a new check was sent end of November. I have still not received the Security Deposit retuned to my Parents. I feel they were trying to take advantage of my parents by charging an excessive amount to paint a small bedroom. I was told they paint after every Resident so why were we being charged at all? I was never given any quote by the painters and the corporate company never returned any correspondence and are playing games with sending a check. I have received refunds from the current assisted home for overpayments within 2 to 3 days it seems the only cheeks that get lost are from this company. I believe someone should look into the management of this facility as this is not how people should be treated. .

      My wife was a resident of Sage Meadow for approximately 3 months. She left the facility on 10/12/2024. The staff at Sage Meadow was for the most part, untrained and short staffed. My wife had her call light on all night one time and the aid said he tried to reset it but was never in her room. Another time, after 4 hours, she went looking for the aid who had left her pager in the office. They lost her rent check and blamed her for not being on time. I had to put a hold on the check thru the bank and it cost me $30 which I want refunded to me. Also, while I was visiting my wife, our car was damaged by another resident's son. The manager at that time ( has since been removed) sited ***** restriction and would not provide my insurance company any information regarding the person who damaged our car. My deductible was $250 which I want returned by Sage Meadow. Also, at the time of the accident, the assistant manager said that Sage Meadow had insurance that would cover the repair. This never happened.The manager also violated the ***** restrictions when she called our daughter complaining that we had given notice that my wife was leaving. I filed a complaint but put it on hold when the person was let go.
