5 starsWe had Stephan ****** and Terron ***** out to perform our yearly maintenance check for our air conditioner. We are satisfied with the work that was performed. They suggested 3 "enhancements" for our system and gave us estimates for these. They were very thorough and courteous and patient answering our many questions. The technicians were great and are an asset to West Allis Heating. We have been with the company for many years and will continue doing buiness with them.Review fromLee B

The technician came to my house to do an annual service. He told me that my inducer was bad, my heat exchanger was leaking carbon monoxide, my humidifier was broken. There was no paperwork given to me to verify those items, only pictures on the internet and a bill for $2700. They wanted my credit card number and sent me emails asking twice for it.He told me he had no idea when he could get me a heat exchanger, leaving me thinking I was in danger.I didn't like the smell of it so I called Gross Heating for a second opinion. They told me there was nothing wrong with my furnace. They also said they would never walk away from a customer if a heat exchanger was leaking.I want to let the public know that West Allis Heating and Cooling uses scare tactics to sell products.West Allis Heating & Air Conditioning

Our technician performed a thorough inspection of your furnace during the annual maintenance visit. The findings included a leaking inducer motor and a compromised heat exchanger, both of which were documented with photos. The humidifier, which is an older model from the early 1990s, was also noted to be making a loud noise. These issues were discussed with you, and repair or replacement options were provided for consideration.
We understand how concerning it can be to receive unexpected news about your equipment, and we always encourage second opinions when a major repair is recommended. However, it is concerning that another company advised you there was nothing wrong with the furnace when our documented findings clearly show two significant issues requiring attention. Our recommendations were made in good faith, prioritizing your safety and the long-term reliability of your system.

This company is horrible lately! Wired our furnace wrong and our april air unit incorrectly. They blew out our april air unit twice and trying to get someone to call you back to get a service call is terrible! Still waiting 2 weeks for a manager to return a phone call!Had this company for years, but they have fallen apart in the last year. 5 starsSo far their HVAC and plumbing services are top notch. Had furnace and air installed 2 years ago, The team who installed were professional, friendly, considerate and very knowledgeable, Left the area as clean as when they came! Rocco came out for the first year check. He was thorough in answering all my questions and very friendly. Even my cat liked him! Today I had a sump pump with backup system installed with their plumber Caleb. He was helpful from the day he came out to asses what was needed, and again today when he installed the system. Explained everything and even gave great insight to the drainage issues around the outside of my house that affect my foundation. I found not only a great HVAC business but a great plumber as well! I found him to be extremly knowledgeable, friendly and, most important to me is that he also took his time explaining my heating unit and making sure that I understood his recommendations for my maximum comfort. I responded to a mailer to have furnaces cleaned for $130.00. I have two boilers. So I was charged $260.00 The serviceman was here less than a half hour. I told him the last company was here for over an hour for 1 boiler. He said no that that's all it took. West Allis Heating said I signed off for his time at !2:30 to 1:50. The trouble is who reads every line on the invoice. I only looked at the charges. When I called them, they said I signed so I have no recourse.West Allis Heating & Air Conditioning

On the service invoice our service technicians time in and time out is very clearly marked. Upon further review these times also correspond with our dispatched times on our office dispatch board. Unfortunately for this customer we have no choice but to assume ************** was there for the time indicated. Incidentally, the service was performed in October so if there was concern why would there be a 3 month lapse from when the service was performed to this complaint? If there was a problem or questionable service performed why would this not have been brought to anyones attention right away?We certainly want people to be satisfied with our service but in this case there is definitely reasonable doubt as to the validity of her claimBarbara G.

First of all this service was for a flat rate of $130.00 per boiler. They were to service 2 boilers for $260.00. I had No need to check his time as it made no difference if it was 20 minutes or 3 hours. Additionally, as far as the delay, the service was done in Oct. The furnaces didn't kick in hard until the cold snap in December when I could hear on the first floor,, that my upper tenant's furnace was banging. I then had to wait until my tenant had a day off, when I was home and the service man could schedule to turn up the thermostat so the boiler would run at that time. I called a recommended boiler company and they said the temperature controls on the boilers were set way too high which caused percolating in the boilers and made all the noise when running. I then asked him how long it took for his company to clean a furnace, because, of course, I am not an expert in boiler cleaning. He said an hour to an hour and a half for each unit. He reset the thermostats on the boiler and I paid him. I will not be bullied by this lady!!!Review fromSue H

We're really satisfied with the level of customer service and competence / knowledge of every one of the technicians that we've had over to provide service .
