Unfortunately, despite Cheba's great sandwiches, I have to report Apy's Cars because the other night (2/8/2024) my car was wrongfully towed to this location @ **********************************************). I was picking up a carryout order and parked in the appropriate customer parking lot around midnight. I was in there for less than 5-10 minutes and I walk out to find my only ride home gone. I was in the building the entire time yet the tow truck operator AND Cheba manager felt the need to lie about my whereabouts and the security footage Cheba's manager even showed me - I never left the premises nor recalled anyone coming in to check about the vehicle before hauling it away. I also have a receipt with my Cheba order and timestamp of order. You need to find a better tow company to partner with if this is apparently a recurring problem w Apy's taking people's cars for no reason. I ended up shelfing over $400 (actual amount was $440) for something that shouldn't have happened in the first place nor was my fault. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to operate a tow truck. Apy's is a scam and I shouldn't have had to drop $440 for something that could've been avoided if you actually treated me like a customer and human being.

On 9/21/24 around 1am my car was towed by Apy's Cars. I was parked in the ********* parking lot on ************** in *********, *********. I didn't realize it was customer only parking and went to ************'s next door, that part is on me. I went to retrieve it around 9:45 am the following morning. Aside from paying an additional $150 for "special equipment", although I believe this is an excuse they use to regularly charge their customers an additional $150 in a "legal" manner, they managed to break my car. After retrieving the car I began to drive home, and the back of the car was violently shaking. I immediately turned around and took it back to them. They claimed that the part was "already broken", and showed me a picture. However my car was just fine and I had been regularly using it up until it was towed. I believe that they broke the part on the car after hooking it up to their equipment, and then took the picture after they broke it. They told me, after saying it was already broken, that they could fix the part in the back for $100. I don't know much about cars, and didn't trust them, so I drove 20mph all the way to ******** repair shop on ************ (to get a third party opinion and fix). They showed me the lateral arm, and pointed out that you could see where the hook was placed, and that the bar was just fine until cleanly broken by the hook. Before getting the car fixed, I called Apy's Cars to see if they would be willing to pay for the damages, but the lady I spoke to refused to cooperate. She immediately got upset, said they took pictures and that my car was already like this. The estimated damages were worth about $480, which after that phone call I had ******** go ahead and fix. I truly believe I was scammed here, and I truly believe that they damaged my car and lied about it. I have video footage of the damage, the third party mechanic's opinion, part of my conversation with Apy's Cars, and more. I also have all of the receipts.
