paid for an engine and warranty. The engine failed within 24 hours of installment and I have been requested activation of my warranty for 2 months now. When I call, my customer service rep ***** has figured out how to block my number so that I had to call from a different number. When I get through I'm transferred to voicemails that I have yet to get a call back from.Initial Complaint

I purchased the car on 9/12/23, we had to take the car back due to the engine went out three different times. We finally got the car back on 10/04/23. I went to get an oil change and they wouldnt lift the car because it was so badly rusted. Car Planet wont pick up or see me anymore. It is so unsafe to drive as the back wheels could come out at any time.Initial Complaint

I purchased a used 2008 ***** HHR from Car Planet under the pretense of driving the car regularly. I purchased the vehicle on 3-14-2023 for the amount of $4,498.45. The issue is that no problems were disclosed to me about the vehicle until after the purchase was finalized. They did not have a ********* Buyers Guide on the vehicle at any time and I was never shown a ********* Buyers Guide it was not included in the envelope with the temporary title and signed contract I was given and told by *************************, the woman who did the paperwork, to keep in the vehicle. The salesman, *** handed over the key with the fob and then said, "Oh, the O2 sensor does need to be replaced but you can bring it back on the following Monday and we will replace that for you." Again this was not disclosed until the sale was made and he was handing the key over. I brought the vehicle back that Monday and he asked me to bring it back the next day due to the time of day I can only assume. So I brought the car back and they took the car into their garage and after 45 minutes he said he was done. He then again disclosed another issue. He stated that the service engine light may come on because of the mass air flow sensor but did not offer any resolution to that issue. I asked him if there was any information about the vehicle and any more issues the car may have. I was told no and they don't get any information when they purchase their vehicles at auction. I left the dealership and shortly after the service engine light came on. After this, I pulled out all the paperwork they gave me to see if these issues were listed and they were not. The ********* Buyers Guide was not included in the envelope they gave to me nor did I ever see the Buyers Guide. Though I did find a warning written that was not there when I signed the paperwork. "warning" This vehicle cannot be legally operated on ********* highways and may not be safe. This was not on the paper before I signing it as I did look over what I was signing. Then the car wouldn't start at all. I called the dealership and spoke to *** and explained the car would not start and I would like the ********* Buyers Guide that has anything wrong listed on it as they did not have it on the car or at the time of purchase. He said yes, how would you like to receive it? He said he could take a picture and text it to me which he did. As I read over the Buyers Guide that I NEVER saw it listed several things wrong with the vehicle. Though it did not state anything about the O2 sensor or the Mass air flow sensor and had incorrect information about the vehicle. It stated the tires and brakes were worn and bad but if you look at the car the tires are new and the brakes work great. It also stated the key fob was missing but I have the key fob. It had that it was once titled in ******* which is only something they would know if they had past information about the vehicle which as I said, they told me they had none. Then I see at the bottom of the buyer's guide that I never saw or received my name signed and dated. They forged my signature and the date. I could write my name a million times and it would never match the signature at the bottom of the buyer's guide. Also if you look at the rest of the paperwork I signed and printed my name several times and included my middle initial. This signature did not. I could not sign something I never saw and if I would have signed it at all it would have been included in the envelope with the other documents. I called the dealership and essentially called them out about forging my signature and *** tried to tell me I did sign it and they did give it to me But the day before when I called and requested the ********* buyers guide there was no mention at all that I should have received and I should have and that I probably lost it. Not until I called them back and explained the signature was forged and I never saw, signed, or received it did he try to tell me that I did indeed receive a copy of it. He THEN said I did lose it. I never once raised my voice, never was unruly or rude during these phone calls. But he told me if I couldn't afford a sensor I shouldn't be buying a vehicle. At that point that was no longer the big issue. It was that no information about the car was disclosed, it was the forged document, and it was the incorrect information about the vehicle on the picture of the buyer's guide he sent me. This dealership is willing to sell a dangerous vehicle that is deemed illegal to even drive to people under the pretense of driving them every day. This dealership is willing to forge signatures and lie to make a buck. He offered absolutely no resolution and told me not to bring the vehicle back up there when I requested a refund because they lied and withheld information and of course forged my signature. I had a mechanic look at it and what he saw was terrifying. Part of the engine is not there. A part that will not stop the car from starting but still. I have grandchildren that I drove around in this vehicle. Now I have a car that won't start and is out of money. I do understand a vehicle can be sold "as is" but they didn't disclose the "as is" information. I did file a dealership complaint with WisconsinDOT but would like this business held accountable for lying and forging my signature on a legally binding document. These people should not be allowed to sell cars ever. I included photos of the tires because on the buyer guide it states they're worn and bad but are in great shape and a picture of the key fob which is listed on the buyer guide as missing and then a picture of the engine where you can see there is a tube with tape around it where part of the airflow system is missing which was NOT listed on the buyers guide or verbally disclosed.Business Response
