      After three strikes you’re out! After 5 years of oil changes this dealership switched by car from Semi-Synthetic oil to Full Synthetic oil which comes at a much higher cost and they did so without discussing the change in oil type with me first where approval to switch would requested. After discovering this change I spoke with the service manager Ed and explained what happened. During our chat Ed stated to me Synthetic is a better oil and the he could not refund the difference in the cost of Semi-Synthetic oil as compared to the higher cost Synthetic oil even though the dealer DID NOT GET AUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE FROM WHAT MY CAR HAS ALWAYS USED AT Zeigler Hyundai. The service manager instead of correcting the issue told me to make sure they are using Semi-Synthetic oil when booking by asking. Who asks this question when over 5 years the dealer has put the correct Semi-synthetic oil in and without question??? This dealership should never make a change like this in the maintenance of a customers car without requesting permission first especially when all past service record show a different oil was used. Additionally the dealer provided me the wrong information regarding towing capacity on my car and when this was brought to the dealers attention the offered to sell me another care instead of writing the situation caused by the sales guy providing bad information. I was told the car can tow 3500 pounds so I can tow my camper but the reality is the car only can tow 2000 pounds max. Buyer beware? This dealership appears to be entirely profit driven, they lack customer service skills and they will do whatever possible to protect profit even if that means ******** over the customer.

      WARNING: Do not buy from Zeigler Hyundai or any other Zeigler stores without reading. They have $900 in fees they will add to the vehicle and they have other shady practices.Synopsis: They list cars as certified online but try to get out of it, they will add $499 security fee that you cannot get out of, and they attempted to change the trade-in offer after putting it in writing. They also have a $399 service fee that will be tacked on to your vehicle. Understand these things before stepping foot in their store.On 3/19/24 my wife found the vehicle she wanted on the lot at Zeigler Hyundai. This is a 3.5 hour drive from our home so she called to set up an appointment and confirmed that it was certified as clearly stated on the website.Check ********* reviews to get the full story, there's a character limit on BBB. I'll just list complaints here:Zeigler tried to get out of the certification claiming a website error.They added $900 in fees Of these fees is a $499 ****** system that isn't as good as the existing factory ********.They missed items in the certification checklist They tried to change the trade-in value after putting it in writing They say the only way to get out of the LoJack system is to not buy the vehicle.Don't buy from Zeigler if you have any other option. But before you set foot in their store, know that they will add $900+ in fees. Their online prices are not accurate.It is likely that Zeigler will respond to this review. It is important to note that I attempted to resolve all of these issues with them before leaving the review. The only option that we were given was to return the vehicle. They have no intention to "make it right" for anyone but themselves.

      Terrible business DO NOT GO HERE! Scammed me on a car and held me there for hours, it was closing time for them and they knew I'd be in a rush to leave. I despise this car dealership and I regret my decision to go to them DAILY!!! Every time I see the car they sold me it reminds me how you cannot trust a used car salesman as they just want to ***** you over. 0/5 do not come here, they will be friendly until they pull the rug from under your feet with insane add on fees they didn't tell you about.

      Do not go to zeigler hyundai of racine. Was not expecting such poor service from a dealership, I was hung up on by 3 general managers Eddy was the last one to hang up. The did not tighten the left front lowered control arms, told me they aligned the car took car to Firestone for alinement, the told me an alignment was never done well why did they say they did Alignment? Just stay away from the scammers rip off artists to say the least. To leave parts loose is a huge safety concern

      I wanted to take the time to talk about my buying experience at Zeigler Hyundai. You can really tell that everybody cares with your buying purchase from the sales person down to the kid cleaning the car. Time and care were spent making sure we were completely satisfied

      My daughter purchased her first vehicle at Racine Hyundai and I feel they took advantage of her they sold her all of the warranties at the highest price.the used Hyundai tuscon that she bought has had problems including a new motor that was installed I brought the vehicle in twice and told them there was a slow leak in the tire .all they did was fill it up with air.i finally got it fixed at a tire shop because the 1300 dollar warranty that they sold her is garbage I called the warranty company and they said to bring it to the dealer every time I have tried to call the dealer I can never get through to talk to someone in service .she needs to get her money back on the tire warranty
