5 starsWe found the nursing staff, therapists, housekeeping and dietary staff all to be great and treated us like family. They all went out of their way to give my husband excellent care during his lengthy stay in this facility. Even though, in my opinion, some of the office staff need to be trained in the basics of customer service, I would highly recommend this facility.Review fromLinda L

Do not send a loved one to this facility. Understaffed and inattentive.Vitals not checked on regular basis. My father in his 80s was there for one day and had to go to emergency room. 103 temp and low BP.Normally when admitted to rehab, one is physically assessed that day. Didnt happen. Please read all the reviews on different sites. The grade is an F.Profits over people.Do not be mislead by the words medical resort. Its a warehouse for profits.Ignite Medical Resort Oak Creek

I'd like to have the opportunity to correct the misinformation contained in this comment. I have medical records that contradict the statements made by this distraught individual and welcome him/her to review that documentation with me. Unfortunately, facts don't always bring peace of mind, but I am certainly open to presenting them if they will help ease the situation.Review fromStephanie G

1 starThis place put off that they are a good rehabilitation center this is not true. They are under staffed and the staff they have are rude ,inconsiderate to the patients in their care. My father is a 87 year old patient who is recovering from pneumonia and needs rest. They have put him in a room with a gentleman who is super hard of hearing and has his TV up so loud you can not hear anyone talking to each other. I am not pleased with the staff. They through a urinal at him after he rang his bell and my sister had to go and find someone after 20 minutes of waiting yo assist him. This is very unexceptable in any facility.Review fromMandy J

1 starI do not, I mean do not bring your loved ones here! On 3rd Administrator, 3rd DON, and 4 unit managers that all came from a run down heath facility in 2 years! Terrible place for cares and to work! The managment changes quickly, the owners dont care! All they want is the profit! They prolong the stays and still give no care thsts needed! They do not listen to what the residents need! Meds always late, meals always late and then cold! Residents always question why, and they get belittled everyday! They cant keep staff! Residents die in that building more then what we know! Could they have been saved with better cares? Well never know! All Ignite has is excuse after excuse, but wants all profit! The owners list their pride, and passion for caring for others! They never walked the building and talk to residents nor check to see if employees and managers doing their jobs to the fullest! No one cares in that building! And no one is properly trained in their department! They throw you in after orientation!Review fromDan Z

1 starNo shower in 14 days (and no medical reason for not doing so). Called for help to the restroom and the worker said "it's 4am, go back to bed". Finally got her onto the toilet and left her there and never came back. She got herself back to her bed. Medications consistently late. Meals late or not at all. Staff does not communicate and tries to prolong stays as a result. A nightmare!Review fromKarey W

I was hired on as a nurse in 2020. I quit during the new employee orientation due to the lack of leadership. One man who was doing class orientation was a Nursing supervision with no license as a nurse yet. He bad talked the facility that nurses here were stupid. Im a Nurse of 27 years with an extensive background in critical care. I was so appalled to have witnessed such unprofessionalism. That was the red flag that I decided not to work here. Also talking to staff who stated it was horrible. Its a beautiful facility but not a good place to send your love ones for rehab.Ignite Medical Resort Oak Creek

Hey *****, thank you for your feedback. To be fair, not sure why you waited 2-years to share this feedback. As a newer building that was opened in 2020 during the first year of the pandemic, we did go through some change. I can assure you now that the building is operating smoothly and we are completely equipped to handle any patients with the utmost excellence and professionalism.Review fromMelissa D.

I didn’t even want to give this place a one star. Horrible!!! So horrible. Worst most devastating let down ever. We met before placing my mom there for rehab with an administrative staff (welcoming staff) she lied right to us. Promised us & my mom things that weren’t true. We were painted a pretty picture of the care & rehab she would receive. It’s only 3 yrs old so our hopes were high. Once we got there with mom within an hour we were told that everything we had heard were false. They went right to the payments that were expected once rehab was done. Again we were there for all of an hour. Our hearts were so broken to have to leave her there. And that was only the beginning! The next few weeks showed their true colors. She went over a week with no shower or sponge bath. We had to repeatedly beg for a shower for her. Many meals showing up way later. AM meds given at 10:30 or 11. She was told many nights at 6pm “it was bedtime.” We stepped over dried blood on the floor 3 days in a row…only cleaned up after our family pointed it out. Hours & hours spent in a wheelchair. Rehab charged for 14days when in reality it was maybe 10days worth. No one eats in dining room. Left over trays lay around for hours at a time. Beautiful rehab room. That many places would use full advantage of. As a family of 4 we rotated visits and that rehab room either had NO one in it or one person in there. We had a Racine agent visit us & my mom they were shocked that rehab room was empty at 10:30am. The administrative staff never returned calls. The head nurse also ignored calls. This place is one of the worse! Don’t place your loved one here!! PS my mom has been gone from this horrible location for months & they are still causing us pain. They refuse to submit her bill to Medicaid & Medicare!!!

Hello *******, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you feel that this was the experience that you and your family had. Navigating rehab is extremely difficult especially if its your first time. Love the opportunity to discuss some of your concerns as there is a plausible explanation to much of what you wrote, and some of it is procedural (like going over the costs in whats called an admissions contract). Perhaps you werent aware, but the state did come in to investigate all your concerns and were not able to substantiate any findings. Id ask that you please call the buildings GM, **** at ************ so that we can get this sorted out. Thank you.Review fromDennis J

1 starThis place is a joke. Meds are always late had the nurse wake me last night at 11:30 to take 9 pills I should have taken 8-9ish. I had a nurse tell me she was withholding my prescription heart medication because she didn’t think I needed it. I’m here for wound care and therapy since Friday. Today is Monday no therapy yet 10am. Wound care is the RN rewrapping my foot once a day by which ever nurse has time that day or night. This morning breakfast was a 3 x 3 dry cake square and 1 pork pattie . This “meal” was 16 hrs after last meal. I am lucky I can get around and my wife could bring me something to eat. Leaving tomorrow for weekly wound care at home. DO NOT BRING ANYONE HERE FOR ANY REASON !!!

1 starMy husband sat in a brief for over 5 hours, he went without a shower for over 2 weeks, they never have clean towels, don't clean his room and the CNA's spend more time on their phones than helping the patients. Do not send your love ones to this facility. They will NOT get the care they need. Adam Z******* the General Manager, was extremely rude, wasn't helpful and told me this was his building when I asked him to leave the room because he wasn't helpful. He never apologized for the poor service and showed no empathy! He immediately offered to change the facility vs dealing with the issues. This place is HORRIBLE!!!
