      Ordered a gift for my wife and we have been very happy with it, but here I am 3 months later and notice the monthly charges I've been receiving. Like many others here I was signed up for the membership program with zero indication I'd be paying a monthly fee for it, much less $21.35! I was able to contact their customer service and cancelled the subscription, something that you don't appear to be able to do on their website. In fact if you go onto your account and try to see where the monthly charges are coming from it shows you nothing at all. Nothing about memberships. Nothing about charges. Nothing about how to cancel them. I'm expecting a refund for the past three months of charges in the next few days. Customer service was very helpful and understanding, but they are human so that's to be expected and appreciated. What isn't human, is this practice of sneaking monthly charges onto peoples accounts under the guise of being something else. It is not transparent and it is not okay. This is an extremely disturbing business practice and I'm noticing it more and more often with companies. I'll be contacting everyone I can about this deceitful practice. I am very concerned that this company is getting away with this and likely greatly benefiting from these charges to unknowing customers who may not ever notice the charges. We want to make a simple purchase and end up providing a subsidy as well. How many people are paying this monthly charge and have no idea? How much money is this company stealing from unwitting customers?

      Easy Comforts catalog appears to be a scheme to onboard elderly shoppers into a $20 monthly "vip subscription". I purchased an itme from them as a gift and was shocked to see $20 being drawn from my cheking account for two months after the purchase. Its a small enough amount that it took me 2 months to notice and I'm middle aged and computer literate. The older clientelle this rag is aiming at will have no idea they've been "enrolled" and will likely not notice or understand the recurring monthly fee for years. This is criminal behavior.

      This is for Miles Kimball: I ordered an item and received a visually different item than what they advertised. The item I received was not only visually different, but the quality was poor. Customer service said could return the item, but would need to pay the shipping cost. I don't understand how this company has an A+ BBB rating.

      If I could give negative stats I would. I ordered a handful of inexpensive magnetic calendars online from Miles Kimball. My order was processed at the time, everything went thru correctly and I received a confirmation. The calendars arrived and one was bent and one had a broken magnetic clip. I didnt even complain because again, they were so cheap. A month after my order was fulfilled I received a bill in the mail saying I owed an additional $6.24. The bill was just in a white envelope and just a plain white printed piece of paper. Looked shady. I called the company to verify this was actually from them and to find out why I would be receiving an addition bill for an order I paid in full when I checked out online and I had already received. I was told because I used ******, they didnt take the full amount and I now had to pay this extra. This is a very inappropriate way to conduct business. I feel like this company is a complete scam. I am infuriated with the level of customer service and I do NOT feel I owe any additional money.

      I have always had very good service & responses from the Walter Drake Co. I have ordered both calendars & address tabs for years. I have always felt you get what you pay for...but, the quality of the items I purchased is very good.

      If I could give them a zero I tewould. They threatening to sue me if I don't pay them for items I never ordered nor received. As an American I'm ****** mad trying to take advantage of me sure they are with other elderly. This country was built on honesty and fair trade practices. Shame on you.

We have put in canceled the *** Program per your request on 4/23/2024. We have refunded any of the charges associated with this program.The billing you are receiving is for the order you placed over the internet on 11/18/2023 and paid for ($73.91) the order using the Preferred Credit Program. You paid installments for a total of $63.00. $3.50 of this amount goes towards the interest due, leaving an outstanding balance due of $14.41.

      Ordered from them and a week later, I got charged for a membership I did not agree to. They said I signed up when I ordered which I did not. I will 100% never order from them again with this kind of business practice. I can see from all the other reviews that this is normal practice for this company and they probably make a ton of money off people that don't fight the charges.

      Ordered and received a good quality product. The company signed me up for a VIP account that includes a monthly charge. I am in the process of getting refunded for an account I did not sign up for. They claim it is because I provided my email address (which I did to receive my receipt) and it is in the fine print. I have ordered from many companies over the years and this has never happened before. This is very deceitful.I have requested a full refund and to remove me immediately.I see other reviews where they replied I would have received a welcome packet in my email. I received no such welcome email. Do not give them your email or you will get charged for this.

      Ordered and received an excellent product. The company signed me up for a VIP account that includes a monthly charge. I am in the process of getting refunded for an account I did not sign up for. They claim it is there in the fine print. I have ordered from many companies over the years and this has never happened before. They are preying on seniors and people who want to live independently. Check on your family members to make sure they have not been scammed by this bunch.

      I give one star because it won't let me do less. This company charges you double when you place an order and takes both monies out of your bank account balance. What's worse, when you get your order due and pay that amount and hit ''order'', it takes the money right out of your bank account. Then Miles Kimball takes that money plus one or two cents MORE, out of your account, taking double the money for the order deducted from your bank balance. then they give you the lesser amount back in supposedly 3-5 days, using your own money for themselves for that time, and also stealing one or two more cents from you and using it for their own gain. THIS IS ROBBERY, IT IS ILLEGAL AND IT IS STEALING. No one authorized them to take out extra money from my bank account just because they can. This practice must be stopped. You need to watch your bank account. My order was $80.19. They took out $80.19 AND $80.20 BOTH from my account balance. They did not give it back until 5 days later after my order shipped and my order was $80.19 and that's what they gave me back, keeping the $80.20. If they keep one or two cents from each customer, think of what they are stealing. THIS IS STEALING OUR MONEY AND IT IS ILLEGAL AND MUST STOP

      Our company, as well as banks or credit card issuers, are accountable for having Fraud Detection tools in place to help protect themselves, as well as their customers. When you place an order, your credit card company verifies the funds are available and then reserves those funds. We are unable to systematically void them, and the release of funds must be done per your bank or card issuers regulations.
