I bought out at 2020 Ram 1500 after leasing it for the first 3 years. I've been hearing a noise coming from the front end. I had it diagnosed at my mechanic shop in Tomahawk, *******************. I contacted **** Automotive, formerly Jeep Chrysler of Rhinelander where I purchased the vehicle. I brought my vehicle in on Wednesday March 21st to **** Automotive to have them diagnose the issues themselves. They found the same issue as *******************, front end differentials and passenger side cv axle. This issue is under warranty however they are saying they aren't sure when it can be fixed as the parts aren't available and they are not sure how long it will take. They gave me my truck back and said not to use the *** because it will make the issue worse or will cause other issues in which my warranty doesn't cover. Front end work is $3000 dollars to fix, all warranty work. I need my *** to drive back n forth to work. I want a different vehicle to drive until mine is fixed or a new vehicle. This issue is not my fault as this issue has been ongoing in all 2017 to 2019 Ram 1500s. I've had open recalls on my truck that weren't fixed until March 21st, 2024 even though I bought out in November of 2023 when my lease was up. **** from **** also stated that any issues pertaining to the issue at hand wouldn't be covered under the drive train warranty if anything should happen...*** after March 21st, 2024 which is very unprofessional. I did threaten to leave the truck in the parking lot and to quit making my payments. A brand new truck shouldn't be having these issues. Lemon.
