      The first of July 2024 I went to ************************************ in St Croix Falls for a routine annual eye exam. After my exam the ** asked if I would like to use the new camera to check for bleeding in my eye which he said would be better then the standard Dialation of the eye. He said that is not covered under a standard eye exam insurance so that would cost $30 which I paid. Later I recieved a bill for $104 for a deductable. I called the clinic and they said the insurance would only pay $46 of the eye exam. That did not sound correct since I have full insurance coverage of routine eye exams. I called my ************* and they said that St Croix ********** had notified them of a exam claim coming but never filed one. I went back to the clinic and spoke with Billing Manager and she said they filed the claim with my medical insurance. She told me the exam was a Diabetic Eye exam. I never authorized a Diabetic exam and asked why didn't they file the rest with my ************** She keep saying the same thing about the Diebetic Eye Exam. I asked her to explain the difference because I did not experience anything different than a standard eye exam with the exception of the camera which I paid for. She would not articulate any explination of what was different between a regular exam and a Diebetic Exam. I sent two letters to demand they file the balance to my ************* and/or what was different from the Eye Exam I had to a Diebetic Exam.I did not recieve any replies, only collection warnings if I didn't pay. Since they filed under my Medical the Pictures of my eye that I paid for would have been likely covered according to my medical insurance provider. This is a complete bait and switch by this clinic with terrible customer service and unethical practices.

      On 1/26/2024 I had an eye exam by ************. I brought my prescription to ****** and received my new glasses one week later. I found that my eye with the glasses was blurry. I went back to ************ and informed him that the prescription he gave me was wrong. The people working the front desk said that I would not be charged for a new exam. Once again I went to ****** and received a second pair of glasses. The second pair was no better then the first pair. At this point I decided to go to a different eye doctor. I went to *** ********** in *****, **. I took his prescription to ****** and received anew pair of glasses that I could wear. Near the end of April I received a bill from ************ for my second visit. I was clearly told that there would be no charge. Dr. ***** ****** informed me that he was charging me because of medical reasons. Well had he properly completed my first eye exam I would not had to go back to him. Had I received a proper prescription the first time I would not had to make that second visit. When I went to Dr. ********** he checked the pressure in my eyes and informed me had it was normal. At that point I canceled a follow up visit to ************ that was setup during my first visit. ************ refuses to drop the charges for my second visit. He is charging me $59.73. I am hoping that you can help me with this. Thank You *********************
