              I work for a dental office and it is absolutely horrifying how the denials come in from Delta and the lack of care for patients. Codes imbedded within covered code services will be deemed exclusions and no one would ever know this. If a patient is seen on emergency there is not time to get a preauth, they need care. They then are saddled with a bill because its denied. Im completely disgusted by the lack of care and the profit that insurance companies generate and leave providers and patients in a loss.

              Hello *** - all Delta Dental of Wisconsin members have their right to appeal, as indicated in the Explanation of Benefits that is sent. We do require that an appeal come in writing - via email, chat or secure message on the member portal, or paper correspondence.
