The absolute worst renters insurance Ive had to deal with. First, they approve or deny renters insurance for *** properties in ********* Second, They have no support number and can only submit a request online that they claim they will get back within 72hrs And of course they dont, and when they do get back the issue isnt resolved. Ill be canceling them here shortly.QBE Insurance

1 starThis is by far the worst insurance company you could ever find. The worst part is I was referred by my apartment complex although once I get a chance to speak with our office mngr Im very confident once she sees these BBB ratings this will most likely be a company we no speak of soon ! 1 starI was going to renew my insurance with them, i had not had a complaint so i could not judge them till now, No one answers a telephone call. No one tend their customers.No one calls back. i did get a quote for this yr but how are they going to take care of my needs in case of an emergency since no one answers the phone.i have tried for 3 wks now at different times calling their customers service X** and just waiting for many many minutes.i will not renew with hem since it is obvious that i will not get a response..I had them because i purchased a new home in ***** with ****** ******** and they included it in my package ( i paid for it of course) but it was during the closing.their quote was reasonable but i never needed it.Please notify the investors, the new customers and the BBB.******************* ****** ps not allowed to leave # calledReview fromElizabeth W

So far what has been written by others is true. We had water coming in my house in Jan, A storm was coming, I called the insurance and asked what to do. I was able to have the roof repaired as a series of storms were coming in and I did not want more damage in my house. The insurance adjuster came out the next day. We had taken a series of pictures, and I had three estimates for repair . All three were almost identical. Right now it is April. I have called at least three times. I got a call today that said my roofers did not submit the paper work. I called the roofers and they said they had. What is going on with you QBE. I have paid my premiums for years and have NEVER filed a claim before.QBE Insurance

QBE stands for quickly betray ethic. Poorly run and the ************* owners ******* the American company of as much money as possible through over prices needless reinsurance coverage. 1 starI received a notice of NonRenewal of Insurance from QBE in the mail. I called them to verify the letter and they told me to contact my agent which was 21st Century Insurance Service. I called 21st Century with the number they provided and the 21st Century Ins. agent was clueless stating that they do not have a homeowner's policy! I have been getting the run around with both QBE and 21st Century Insurance and would never recommend their business to anyone! This non-renewal notice was a blessing and after reading all these bad reviews from other customers, I am beyond thrilled to not have them as my homeowner's insurance carrier anymore!!!!!! A Tornado touched down near my house on Aug. 7, 2023 which knocked down large trees including the one that hit the back of my house tearing down my gutters at the rear of my house along with extensive lawn damage, patio stones, a window and window screen on another window and various other damage. Made my claim the following day to QBE but the policy is through Preatorian Insurance Company. Adjust came within a few days and said we would hear back in a week or less. Two weeks later I began calling and got *****************************, she said claim was being processed and would hear back. Another week and I called again. ******** again said a new computer system was slowing the claim. Another 3 days I began calling ********, left several messages on her machine, left a message through customer service, emailed her. As of today Aug. 30, still no response. In the meantime I already paid a tree service $1500 to remove and clean up debris from the tree and have two other contractors lined up to do the patio work, and the other to do the gutters, windows and other items. Together those estimates come in at around $10,000.00. It seems they are very slow to pay anything and cannot be contacted or avoiding calls. Terrible company to deal with. In the meantime, my neighbors have repairs going or finished already.QBE Insurance

1 starFraud and cheat is what describes this company filed a complaint of roof damage after storm and hail.. every roofer in town says the roof needs replacement but guess what their adjuster says NOPE!!!! 1 starWould give negative stars if I could. Filed a claim immediately after storm damage to my roof 3/2/23. Over a month later on 4/12/23 they still had not sent an adjuster out. They never answer or return phone calls or emails. After they finally sent someone, it took another month of me calling and emailing to ask for updates before they sent me the results of their inspection. They only called me when I sent them a link to the TX Dept. of Insurance website stating they were past their legal deadline for responding to my claim. Now, we have submitted a supplement because we need full roof replacement instead of partial repair due to HOA requirements, as well as roofer documentation that partial repair is insufficient. They have not answered or responded to any calls or emails from us or our roofers. It has been an additional month with no communication from QBE or their partnering company Alacrity Solutions. We are given different supervisors names every time we call, and none of them answer. We have filed a complaint with TDI and now my mission is just to help any other homeowners I can by warning them to choose almost any other company besides this one for their insurance.Review fromShonte' R

1 starZero Stars but you are making me give one star to write this review! I started my claim in January 2023 and it is now June 2023 and my claim has still not been completely processed. This is the worse experience I have ever had with an insurance company. I have called several times throughout the months and my adjustor never returned my calls. QBE Insurance does not care about their customers. They say someone will call you back and then they don't. No other claim I have ever filed in my lifetime has taken 5 months to process, and my claim is still open so I am not sure how many months this claim will take. This should be against the law.
