I called 2Seasons Heating and Cooling on 6/17/24 for someone to come out and fix our ac unit. The lady I spoke with over the phone said she could have a technician come out the next day (6/18) at 10:30 am. I said great and told her our ac unit was still under warranty. She said no problem. The technician I’m sending out is Mike and he’s very good at making sure warranty work gets covered by the manufacturer. Well that wasn’t the case at all. Mike did come out at 10:30 the next morning and replaced a capacitor, but the fan still didn’t work. He told my wife he had to go to his shop to run the serial number to order a new fan motor. Then he called me to tell me what he told my wife and to ask me if he should order the fan motor because it was $542.00. I said go ahead it’s under warranty. He said I’ve only seen these motors under warranty for 5 years. I told him I have a receipt from the original install stating 10 year warranty on parts and that my wife will show it to him when he returns with the motor. He said he would look into it and let me know. He never called me back. He returned to our house later that afternoon with the new motor and installed it. My wife tried handing him the original receipt with the warranty and he told her “That won’t do me any good.” He also went on to say that the motor that went bad in our unit wasn’t the original motor and suggested that maybe it was refurbished. He handed my wife the bill for$830.00. She paid it. Then he handed her the old motor and said “You’ll need this for your warranty.” What!!! My wife called Carrier and they said this never should have happened. We’ve had our ac unit registered with Carrier for 7 years now and they said it’s definitely covered under warranty. Point is don’t call 2seasons heating and cooling if you need warranty work done on your ac or furnace. They don’t deal with warranty issues even though they assured me they do. If you have a unit under warranty, call Carrier. They will help you.

We did not install your unit, we gave the supply house ****** *** the model number and serial number of your unit, to try and see if your unit had a warranty they told us"NO"!We can't do a warranty if supply house will not honor your warranty, we advised you of this and YOU told us to order it anyway and you will deal with CARRIER or company who installed your unit I gave you your old parts so when you go and deal with whom ever that you would need the old parts Just like if we installed unit and needed to claim a warranty they need the damaged part no matter what also we change the capacitor no matter what we change a Motor also your warranty if you had one DOES NOT cover labor or service call I don't see how you can blame us when we told you everything up front before ordering part so if you were getting a warranty on motor we can buy that part back or carrier would give you a credit/ check So I am not sure why you didn't call the company whom installed your condenser and have them do a warranty
