    Hired for insurance claim replacement of roof, siding, and gutters. Sales team is nice, and did a good job working with insurance company. Website over promises. Work was performed by many different subcontractors crews that mostly spoke Spanish only, and sometimes did or did not show up. Much of the work was done incorrectly and had to be redone in some instances up to three times. Project was not completed in a timely manner. Charged the full amount of the insurance payment. Not a good value.

    The Edge Contracting, LLC (The Edge) respects the right of its customers to post honest reviews of their experience with our company and our home improvement construction crews. In this case, however, we are surprised and disappointed that this particular Customer would issue such an unfair review. This is especially true because we went the extra mile for this Customer.The Customers statements made are incomplete and inconsistent with the facts in several respects. Further, these statements are being made long after we concluded our work on the Customers home (we completed our initial work under contract 8 months ago in November, 2023, with some later follow-up) and settled up with this Customer 4 months ago when he paid us in full based on his full satisfaction with our completed work. Thus, we wish to provide some clarification. The scope of work in our contract not only required that we perform the work of several trades be performed by us, but also coordination with another independent company and its crews simultaneously on a separate scope of work. Our work was absolutely completed in a timely manner, as outlined in the contract the Customer signed with us. We accomplished our work in a timely manner despite slowdowns caused by the Customer, such as special requests and back-ordered entrance doors ordered by the Customer without regard to our construction schedule, and the many challenges of coordinating with another contractor on the same site. For some reason, this Customer found it important to mention that some crew members mostly spoke Spanish only being of Hispanic dissent; that fact, in our opinion, has no bearing, positive or negative, on the outcome of the quality of our work. We here at The Edge treat all people with respect. Unfortunately, a member of the Customers family disparaged one of the Spanish speaking crew members to the degree that they immediately resigned from continuing work, mid job. Because of her exchange, our A team was knocked out, which forced us to retain new crews to complete our work on Customers home. This caused more chaos on an already complicated job. Overall, it seems that our company was unfairly scrutinized and criticized in every aspect during and after construction. Shockingly, we received several threatening and unprofessional e-mails, text messages, and phone calls. Some of the texts came in the early morning as late (or early) as 2am. Additionally, one of Customers family members resorted to name calling as a form of communication. Based on some of the unfair criticisms, we were forced to hire an unrelated 3rd party structural engineer at our own cost - to inspect and verify the quality of our work on Customers home. Upon thorough inspection, this company exonerated our workmanship.While we understood the Customers right to question whether some of the work performed by replacement crews was up to our high standards, and to the Customers satisfaction, we went to great lengths to rework or replace all of those items to ensure that they, in fact, met our high standards and were performed to the Customers satisfaction. At all times, we acted in good faith, worked diligently, communicated well, and addressed every concern raised by the Customer. Ultimately, the Customer paid us in full without hesitation and without complaint. At that point, we reasonably concluded that we had performed all work to their satisfaction. After all this time, we can only surmise the purpose in posting this harmful and hurtful review. We understand that companies and its customers are people, and that people sometimes have misunderstandings or honest disputes, but that is not the case here. As stated above, we are disappointed by this particular Customers unfair review.As a result we respectfully request that this Customer contact the ********************************************* to withdraw this unfair review.The Edge Contracting, LLC ************************************** Pres. & Managing Member

    After posting my initial review, I received an email from The Edge Contracting attempting to bully me into silence by threatening me to either take down my review or they would post misleading halftruths in an attempt to degrade and discredit me and my family's character.Well, as you can see, I won't be bullied, and I hope this helps someone out there avoid the same mistake I made by hiring The Edge Contracting.

    Tom and his team were amazing. He walked me through the process and explained what all to expect. On time arrival, professional and my new roof and gutters look great. Everything was cleaned up afterward and they finished on time. Would highly recommend!

    Back office and customer service very unprofessional. Came back seven months after the job to ask for more money. Reconciliation took hours of my time. I hope workmanship is not like the service.

    In July, 2022, Mr. Gregory Gillman (“Mr. Gillman”) hired The Edge Contracting, LLC (“The Edge”) for his home improvement project. The Edge promptly provided all services in a professional manner, meeting all applicable standards. The majority of cost was paid by Mr. Gillman’s insurer. This year, however, it was discovered upon audit that Mr. Gillman’s initial payment (his insurance deductible) was inadvertently not processed. Recognizing this as an oversight at no one's fault, The Edge viewed this as one of those matters simply needing to be resolved. To that end, we reached out to Mr. Gillman in a courteous manner; we also apologized to him for any inconvenience along the way, hoping we could resolve this matter in a spirit of cooperation and partnership. Mr. Gillman, instead, chose a different path, including public statements, such as this one, to besmirch and impugn our good name. The Edge does not engage in negative back-and-forth banter, as that is unproductive and unfair to all. As of this writing, we have received a check from Mr. Gillman and look forward to that payment clearing in short order, so that this matter can be considered resolved and closed. While we have no assurance or even indication that Mr. Gillman is willing to do so, we ask him to please remove all negative comments about this unfortunate occurrence. Overall, we wish Mr. Gillman well, and thank him again for the opportunity to be of service. Sincerely, The Edge

    We had our roof replaced by The Edge Contracting.  They installed Certainteed Landmark Pro shingles and the roof looks beautiful!  Their staff was professional and timely.  The installation crew did an excellent job and everything was cleaned up at the end like they were never there.  I would highly recommend Tom and his team at The Edge Contracting.  You will be in good hands!
