We had some issues and Current went over and beyond our expectation to correct the issue and restore our peace of mind. I would recommend current to everyone. 1 starCity was requiring me to have an electrical inspection and sign-off to make sure work was done to code. Called Current Electric because their website explicitly says they offer this service. The phone operator even told me how they do this all the time and they actually run a special on it. So they came out, did an inspection and quoted the work needed to bring kitchen up to code. I agreed to the work and paid the bill up front since they are a 'reputable' company. They installed 2 outlets, re-installed range fan and separated lighting/outlet circuit. They charged another $500 to redo the ducting and inlet for the range fan but told me afterwards that it was not needed. They did not reimburse me for the service they didn't do. And after 2 weeks of calling and emailing the office to get inspection documentation saying everything was fixed up to code, they will not provide it. Their website ads for electrical inspection are a scam to get in to do work but will not provide any meaningful documentation. They also charged a $150 permit fee and in the 1.5 weeks to complete the work, they did not fill out the permit until I repeatedly called them about it and even did final inspection with the building inspector to which he told me they never even filed the permit. And then I still ended up hiring another electrical contractor to do the inspection and work they would not do. I would have had more respect if they simply walked away and had not taken the job rather than charge me for work not done and then still not get me any closer to resolving what I originally called them for. To their defense, the electrician did very professional work. installed outlet into glass backsplash and cabinet and absolutely no repair work was needed afterwards.Review from

Current Electric was able to get me an appointment on short notice. They spelled out the solution and pricing very clearly, and explained their approach thoroughly. The work cost exactly what they said it would and was done the same day. They left the work area cleaner than they found it.

Great experience with Current Electric. I had a small job that I needed completed. I was originally scheduled in about 4 weeks. An opening occurred in their today, they texted me, and shortly afterwards the technicians arrived. Brody and Joe assessed what I needed done and within about 2 hours it was completed. They cleaned up the area where they worked. They were friendly and professional. A couple great guys on the Current Electric team!

I would recommend Current Electric to anyone! They are affordable, professional, and customer service oriented. We had Eric as our electrician and he went above and beyond for us. We had a new outlet installed, can lights installed, and ceiling fans installed. He kept us informed the whole time with updates on progress, time frames, and got our input along the way. We will definitely be using Current for all of our electric needs.
