  This was the most poorly managed job I've ever seen. The most critical step in any paint job is proper surface preparation. In this case the contract states "Use jomax and hand wash mildew on soffits". This was not done-- the crew just painted over the contaminated surface.I expect this job will need to be redone correctly within a year or two when the mildew reappears.Nobody that showed up at the worksite was prepared. Nobody had read the requirements stated in the proposal-- I had to review it with the production manager twice, tell the jobsite supervisor of the cleaning requirement, tell the crew to install the flashing, and had to borrow them my drill so they could do it.The first crew hadn't read the proposal, so after I reviewed it with them,they had to leave to get "product"-- the paint specified in the contract.Then they decided the surface had lead, so the job was rescheduled with a "lead certified" crew.This crew showed up later in the week, and proceeded to scrape the surface on a windy day using none of the equipment or procedures typical of a lead abatement job-- no PPE, respirators, plastic sheeting for containment.When the production manager finally returned my call after I tried to contact her to communicate to the crew of the cleaning requirement (which any competent painter would already know about), she gave some ** about how because the surface had lead, they couldn't wash it. I asked her to send me the document detailing this. I still have not received it. If I had known CertaPro would skip this step, I would have contracted a professional painting company that could read, understand, and complete the requirements in the contract.CertaPro's robot emailed me a few weeks after the job requesting a review:they received a 0 of 5. It's a shame a big company like this can fail on so many levels on such a simple, completely specified job.

  The salesman and sub-contracted crew were amazing. However the project manager "Steve" was absolutely terrible. We went months after signing the contract trying to get him to move on the project - even just picking up the money was impossible. We called in and got routed to the National CertaPro multiple times before we finally got any traction. When we did, we still didn't hear from Steve but instead the sub-contractor showed up to power-spray and get the details. Note we didn't have a color picked out yet, as were were trying to get the details on the color consult. The team that did the painting was amazing, but the office management is some of the worst I've ever seen. Given the difficulty of getting them to act, I shudder to think of what will happen if there is an issue with the paint. I would recommend going to the sub-contractor but I would never recommend anyone using CertaPro of Milwaukee.

  Initially CertaPro painters seemed to have done a decent job on the exterior of our nine unit condominiums. However, they have failed to follow through, as promised, to repaint a significant number of areas where the paint is flaking. This is despite their district representative having been onsite July 19th and promising that he would have his crew correct the problems. I have called and left message twice and have not received a return call nor has a CertaPro crew returned as promised. During the inspection on July 19, it was apparent that the painters had painted over damp and warped trim boards rather than properly replacing the trim boards and then painting them. Very disappointing.

  This job was complicated by the fact we were replacing most of the original wood siding on our 100-year-old house in Whitefish Bay with LP SmartSide. We wanted to preserve the home's character by keeping the original wood facia/trim, wood framing of the enclosed front and back porches and front bump-out windows framing. This required us to hire two separate contractors, working in tandem. CertaPro painted the wood that we kept. We're thrilled with the way it turned out, and would certainly recommend CertaPro for similarly tailored projects. Communication was challenging at times. But we kept things positive, worked at it, and the company demonstrated integrity with fair pricing. Shoutout to sales associate Carey ******, GM Dan ********, and project manager Andres.

  The price was high in our area but it was well worth it. The crew we had was extremely professional and talented with great attention to detail. We also had some carpentry done and you cannot even tell anything was replace. Job well done and I will use them again when/if needed.

  Took 3 bids to paint the exterior of our home. CertaPro came in with a good price but the other two paint bids were more than DOUBLE the price CertaPro quoted us! Budget being tight we went with CertaPro thinking we might need to accept a lower quality paint job since we were having the nagging thought "you get what you pay for". We did not need to be concerned! The communication before, during and after was detailed and they even called to say when they would be early! They said the project would start on Sept 5th and be completed on the 12th and they were right on the money, no delays or excuses! The exactness of the paint lines and 2 coat coverage transformed our 1932 bungalow into looking like the newest house on the block. If you are accepting bids for painting, you owe it to yourself to at least allow CertaPro to earn your business. We, simply, could not be any happier with our experience of working with CertaPro. Shout out to Pauline and Carlos for making this such a successful project.

  Major renovation of the exterior of my home was completed near the end of this past August. CertaPro was hired to do the painting as the final phase of the project. The work done by the painters was fabulous! Ivan and Jose were assigned to my job and they were excellent from start to finish. What did they do to earn this assessment? First, they were extremely professional and they made sure that they thoroughly understood the job before they began to work. The other things that caught my eye include: 1. Matched paint colors very well, 2. Masked adjacent areas to ensure no overspray onto non-target surfaces, 3. Expert application of paint using spray, 4. Excellent job of applying sufficient coats to ensure a nice uniform finish, 5. Great job of cleaning up the site when they finished. Of course one might say that these are the things that one expects painters to do well, but that is not always the case. These guys, however, delivered on all fronts. After almost six weeks of construction, it turned out that the paint work drew the most compliments from family and friends. I think that is worth noting and I would highly recommend CertaPro for your painting project. This is my second great experience with CertaPro from start to finish. The sales representative, Eric, gave a very good and competitive price and Steve was great in keeping abreast of the main project and scheduling his crew. It is nice to have a service that you can count on! Thanks to all of them.

  I would not work with CertaPro again even if I received completely free service. We had a large great room including crown molding, baseboards, walls, ceilings and cabinets as well as the entire exterior of our house including wooden siding and brick painted by CertaPro. The painters they have working with them are talented and do quality work, but the company themselves is incredibly disorganized and the worst contractors I have worked with to date. For both interior and exterior jobs, I had to personally reach out to the company to confirm what time the painters were coming (the day before the scheduled start date), and to ensure they had the correct colors documented. For my interior project, they had one person scheduled to complete the job, which took him 6 days - 6 days in which we were unable to be in the space that makes up a majority of our home. On the start date of my home exterior project, the team showed up to my house without confirmation of the colors they would be using and had to come back days later to start the project. I am still awaiting the initial touch *** to be completed on the project over two months later when I was told it could happen same week. The icing on the cake is the painters painted the brick on the exterior of our home, which was not part of the contract, nor was requested. Getting in contact with the Project Managers or anyone else that actually creates action/an adequate response within CertaPro has been incredibly tiresome, frustrating and frankly unacceptable.

  Juan and crew did a fine job painting the exterior trim on our home. He made sure we were satisfied, went beyoud our expectations. The job that would take me weeks in my spare time was done in two days.
