  Whatever you do don’t ever ask any questions regarding any work done by Oscar (great mechanic but offended too easily). We recently took our car to a mechanic that was close to us because we were going out of town for the weekend (last minute plans) and heard a noise when we made left hand turns, so we wanted to make sure it was safe to drive. The mechanic that we took it to stated that there was a bracket missing, and suggested that we should take it back and ask the previous mechanic to put it back on. The job was done earlier by Oscar and so we asked him about it. Now please keep in mind that my husband and I are not mechanics and therefore, don’t have any knowledge about brackets much less any auto repairs. Oscar’s ego was bruised because he thought we were questioning his mechanic skills and his integrity, which couldn’t be further from the truth. We got two conflicting pieces of information so of course you’re going to ask questions of BOTH MECHANICS, so you can better understand the information given. When we called Oscar to give him the green light to fix the noise we had been hearing from the left hand turns. He quipped back with a statement and said to take it to the other Mechanic to have it fixed. I’m sorry but this was very unprofessional and if you’re going to be offended for us asking questions like a normal Consumer would then honestly you should not be in business. When you have no knowledge of a subject then you’re inclined to ask questions but that doesn’t mean you’re questioning the skill or integrity. I really hate to leave this 1 star review because I have always advocated for small businesses but Oscar you have to understand and allow for your patrons to ask simple questions about auto repairs.

  The whole experience with this auto shop from beginning to end was horrible. Originally brought my car In because of a coolant leak. A couple of days later when I called to see if this was fixed, I was told they ran into issues. Turns out the mechanic working on my car caused an issue so severe that was my engine now needed to be replaced. This obviously caused all kinds of issues for especially as a working single mother of a 4-year-old. After multiple discussions I was given an SUV to use from this shop. Although I was grateful for this gesture, it was also extremely expensive to drive due to the gas prices versus my little coupe. When the work was finally done, which took several weeks and very little communication from the shop I picked up my car. That night driving to my parents house the car started to run horribly. I contacted the shop the next day and was told it was probably just a spark plug issue. A scan was ran, and it turned out to be some turbo hose issue. They had no time to check or fix that. I had to take the car to fix that issue at my expense. Although I asked a couple of times related to the new engine and if any paperwork was available, I was always given the run around. I will never recommend this shop to anyone. The customer service, workmanship, and overall experience was horrible.
